Lori: THIS WAS THEIR FIRST FORMULA: I took Xenadrine and found I had lots of energy, but I also had ill side effects such as the headaches, rapid heart beat, skipped heart beat, jitters, and mood changes. The mood change was so severe and everyone could see it, but I feel I became dependent upon the drug. I feel I became vain, self-centered, and did things that I would not have normally done. I feel this drug ruined my life to the extent I am now divorced. For me it was very addictive because even though I was having the side effects, I kept taking the product. While working out at our local rec center, I actually told one of the workers that if I fainted or passed out that it was my heart because my heart was racing and flip-flopping in my chest. I would NEVER take this product again or recommend it to anyone. I took Xenadrine over the course of about 2 years. I can’t explain it, but for me and my body, it was a drug and I feel I was under the influence for a period of about 2 years. This drug should be ban.

Lori: I made a prior comment, but forgot to mention it does make you sweat (a lot!), and not only just in the gym. Also, the body odor caused by it was very unpleasant!

WENDY: I took the old one and lost all of my baby weight 9 yrs ago. I wanted to get on it again Im glad I read this if it has chnaged I dont want to waste my money. But it is a shame bc the old product worked great for me and I just had my second child and need a lil extra push to help get this weight off!

A: This is not technically a review as I have never used this Xenadrine product . . . I just saw a commercial for this product and want to say that if they expect people to believe that the “very skinny blonde in the skimpy black bikini”’s weight loss is a direct result of this product, they should probably have selected a model who’s tummy surgery scars are not quite so easily seen in the commercial, or maybe they should have applied more makeup to conceal them.

Leslie: I loved Xenadrine, with or without the Ephedrine, I had energy and was even able to lose a few pounds, and now that I no longer take them, I’ve gained weight. When I could no long buy Xenadrine (efx) I started using something else and its just not the same. I’m not the type to try new things so I haven’t tried their new product, afraid they won’t work the same. I’ve heard that the amount of Ephedrine put in some of these products (that they did make) was not enough to really harm ur body.

karla: The add in back of magazines sold me ! I hesitated buying it at walmart,but drove back and got it in the drink powder form. I just started xenadrine 3 days ago I do feel happy and looking forwad to losing 10 or more pounds along with slim fast I have high blood pressure ,so I am nervous too! Diet pills won’t work unless you diet and exercise as well! If you do those two things a long with it, then you WILL lose weight! Why else do you think they were designed to give you energy? Jenny: So far it has worked for me. I like it, i found this at Wallmart and i got it. I have went from a size 20 to a 14-16. I also work out along with taking the pills. So for all you to say that it does not work, what are you doing along with taking the supplement? I dont drink much pop, when i do its not diet, i drink a lot of watter, and do at least 300 sit ups a day, and a work out DVD at night.

Jessy: I’ve been taking this for 3 days now and I love the amount of energy I get from it. I don’t need coffee or an energy drink as much as normal and I actually want to go to the gym to use up the energy. Does anyone else get extremely hungry right after taking the pill?? I thought this was suppose to help be a hunger suppressant but I feel like I’m starving. molly: I too was unsure at first about these, but bought them any way. I have been eating healthier, drinking my water and walking 30 min. every other day along with the pill. After 1 wk. I’ve lost 6 lbs. Some of that is water weight I’m sure but still 6 lbs is certainly encouraging.

I started noticing the numbers on the scale begin to slowly drop by .5 to .75 pounds every 2-3 days. I wasn’t sure it was the pills at first but I kept taking them. And just an FYI, I have only been taking one per day. Not the two per day that is recommended. To Jessy, I too get very hungry right after taking them. I think what’s happening is that it’s making your metabolism start to speed up and that makes you hungry. If you put food into your stomach, it has something to work with.
