Back in the day, Xenadrine® contained Ephedrine, but when it was removed from the market for health concerns, its developer, Cytodyne Technologies, revamped its formulary, using elements such as Green Tea, Coca Extract, Yerba Mate, Pantothenic Acid, Guarana, White Willow Bark Extract and Ginger Root. Many of these elements are fairly pedestrian, and may be found in many fat burners. Also, it is important to note its credibility has taken a lot of fire, because its developers have been accused of “making false and unsubstantiated claims about the effectiveness of the product”. They have also been alleged by the FTC of using paid “endorsees", who never used this product. Given Xenadrine®’s formula, we are not surprised that they may have resorted to these tactics.
