HoodiaP57 - Pure 20X Strength Certified Hoodia
This product is simply as good as Hoodia gets. It is 100% certified, pure Hoodia from South Africa. It also boasts 20X the strength. If any Hoodia product is going to suppress appetite, this is the one. We also like that HoodiaP57 contains nothing else except pure Hoodia -- no fillers and no stimulants. This means it is safe to take whenever you want – including close to bed time. There are hundreds of Hoodia products on the market now, but we don’t even bother to list them on this site, because 99% of them are just cheap imitation Hoodia that is not even from South Africa, where the P57 molecule is the most effective. We chose HoodiaP57 to be on DietBlogTalk because it is of the utmost quality. The maker even includes a certificate of origin from the South African government stating the Hoodia originates from there. This product has nearly a perfect ‘Thumbs Up’ score. Check this one out. Each of these effective ingredients is standardized so you always get a product you can count on, and they all have not just one, but several clinical studies backing their claims. The Slim 10® customers say it all—check out these enthusiastic postings on the blog. In fact, Slim 10® is on par with the best diet pills around like Nuphedrine® and HoodiaP57®. The truth is, it really just depends on what pill is best for the consumer—some will do better with Nuphedrine, others with HoodiaP57, and of course some with Slim10®. The really amazing part is that most of their customers come from word of mouth, and it is quickly becoming one of the most popular diet products available. There are three two-week phases, which is enough time to generate weight loss, but not overwhelm the diet. Rubin offers sound nutritional advice that focuses on cleansing the body and overall health. However, the diet also offers advice in other areas of life, such as hygiene, and advises dieters to thoroughly cleanse the face, hands and neck in the morning and evenings. Rocco Cuva: Weight Watchers is not a diet but teaches to you to make good choices and portion control leading to weight loss

Lori: Yes, i agree with that first statement from Rocco, Weight Watchers is a way of life that is not "Extreme" or dramatic, but subtle, slow and steady. It is about making smart choices while ALSO STILL ENJOYING GOOD FOOD! Imagine that. For me, i guess i felt like my situation was an "emergency" (weighed 345 lbs) so at the beginning, I supplemented my Weight Watchers plan with a diet pill to get the ball rolling initially. This combination was just perfect, the weight came off quite rapidly, and now I just stick to the time tested principles of weight watchers and the weight is staying off. This program is IT, the non-diet that i am going to stay on for the rest of my life.

Janie: After putting up a lot of resistance, I finaly decided to start going to the Weight Watchers meetings with my mother. We both needed to lose and it seemed to make sense to go together. I didn't really know what do expect, but naturally expected the worst, like some drill sergeant would be telling me what do to and criticizing me for being overweight. The opposite happened; everyone was very supportive and I've been learning a lot from the meetings. I've been on it now for 3 months and have managed to drop from a size 16 to a 12, which is a start. Its easier to stay on here I think, bcs of the support I get.

Sabrina: I liked the Weight Watchers Flexible Food plan at first but I have since realized that it may be a little TOO flexible for a no willpower bacon lover like me. I need discipline and deprivation in order to really lose weight and keep it off. I also need some kind of energy pill because I feel slow and sluggish even though the weather is lovely. sigh.

Crystal: Last month I joined Weight Watchers and signed up for the Flex Plan because I liked the idea of being flexible with my diet, but I've found that I don't really like keeping track of points. I might switch to the Core Plan, does anyone have any tips, which is better in the long run, etc?

FreelyWilliams: I think the approach with Weight Watchers is really smart and fresh and perfect for the 21st century woman who is savvy and much more healthy-conscious. That said, I haven't lost quite as much as I wanted to on this diet and am considering just adding a natural supplement, what do you guys think? Whats the best with WW?

Karen: Well, I do like the idea of a lasting diet that can help you maintain your loss, but all those "points" sound confusing to me. I have always been bad with math and numbers. Is there maybe a verision of Weight Watchers where you don't have to keep track of "points"? I know maybe that is asking a lot but i just want something where i can keep it simple. Please let me know thanx!

Angela: Being on Weight Watchers is teaching me a thing or two about what I should be eating, and how much, but, I do still get cravings that I cannot control from time to time, and sometimes I give in. I know its probably hurting my progress, is there a way to avoid this?

lisette: Somebody had asked about counting Points and all of that stuff...for you, the Core Plan of WEight Watchers would probably be just the thing. It's what i do. You just pick from a variety of healthy foods and you can EAT THEM UNTIL YOU ARE FULL. It's a pretty cool plan and so far it seems to be working 4 me.

Terri: I've tried so many kinds of diet plans I've lost count...I know that's sort of cliche, but it's true. Weight Watchers has been around a long time, so I figured it must be good. The diets that aren't so good disappear, I think they come back every 10 years or so, but anyway, Weight Watchers has a really good reputation, so I thougt I'd give it a go. Because I like to eat so much, I thought I'd try their Core Diet Plan...you can eat as much as you want of certain foods...and that way you'll stay full longer, which is my major downfall. I just hate to be hungry, even a little bit. So I started eating things like celery, which takes a long time to digest, and watermelon, ditto, and pretty soon, I was on my way. I'm wondering though if somewhere along the way I can switch to the Flex Plan? Does anybody know how this works? Is that points system complicated? Should I maybe go to the online Weight Watchers people/blog/thingy and ask them? Who can help me with this?

Maren: LAtely I've been eating out a lot, I just don't have time to cook for myself, and I either travel for work or want to catch up with friends when I am at home, usually late in the evening over cocktails. I joined Weight Watchers because it gives lots of tips for eating out, but, its still too complicated for me, and I always overdo it. Maybe its just not the right time, I don't know, it just isn't working.

Zahra: I don't know about the idea of eating ANYTHING until i am full, because I feel like I NEVER AM FULL. So as much as the Core Plan appeals to me I'm not sure I could keep it under control. Hmm. Is there any way to do this plan without going overboard? Thanks.

Stacia: Wow well i thought dieting meant giving up all of my fun, but on Weight Watchers, they actually give you a whole guide for drinking! Low cal, of course...Still, this diet has been so much easier because I don't feel deprived. When I really get a craving and need to get it under control I take a natural appetite suppressant (usualy hoodia) and I'm fine. Seriously though, being allowed to have a fruity cocktail without feeling guilty makes the whole diet worth it!

kaye: still unsure if I will stick with Weight Watchers. It's a little fussy and social for my taste. I like to do things independently and I also don;t mind taking the right pill if it suits my needs. We'll see after this weigh on whether or not I stick around.

Kara: When I found out my BMI, I almost had a heart attack! And according to the numbers, that's where I was headed. I can't believe I've let this fat slowly slowly build up into a really serious problem, but I have. I'm only 54, but at the rate I'm going, I could be dead by 64! I'm not ready for that, and that's for sure. One of the things that Weight Watchers tells you when you first start with them is that you have to be committed to losing weight. Seems like a simple thing, but it's really done the trick for me. Once I totally decided that I had to get my body back into some sort of order, the rest got easier. I'm on the Flex Program, and find it simple to use...I don't have to give up the foods I love, and I'm losing weight at a reasonable rate...maybe not all that fast, but maybe it will stay off this way? Who's lost weight with this and kept it off? I really want to know.

Natalie: Well i'm still not sure about how i am doing on this Weight Watchers Flexible Plan. Each day i record my points numbers but sometimes i get confused about how many points i should give to certain items. For example, if I eat the whole wheat English muffin that is 2 points but then if i put strawberry jam and/or butter then that is additional points i believe. I think maybe i might have accidentally gone over my points alotment a few times already. Maybe i just need to get the hang of how it works. I will report back.

Erica: For the past few years I've gone on & off Weight Watchers, I've met lots of great people and learned a lot but for some reason, I just can't lose the weight. I'm think ing it might be my thyroid, I'm going to the doctor's next week, I hope I can get some advice from her. I really thought Weight Watchers was the answer, but, it just hasn't helped yet. But who knows, maybe the doc will put me back on it? Anyway, I really wish I'd had success, I NEED to lose this weight...

Claudia: Every time the days start getting longer, I SWEAR I'll get the weight off, but it never seems to happen. This year I joined Weight Watchers and it seems to be working okay. But, I'm taking a road trip next week and am really worried I'll just totally get out of whack and go crazy with the fast food or something. I printed the food guide from the website and hope it helps, but I might also bring an appetite suppressant along, just in case.

CatalinaMoreliaAlfred: hello everyone, i have been reading this blog for awhile but never have spoken out before. I am definitely interested in going back to Weight Watchers (from another program for middle aged women that uses famous fat ladies in their ads) but am wondering what we're talking about in terms of weight loss actually. I haven't seen the quick success I want and that is why I am thinking of switching. None of my friends are heavy and they don't understand my obsession with food. I really want to trim down for my anniversary in October but I want to be healthy of course too. Thanks for you help, Cat

Jessie: GINA - Is it Ok to take a capsule or weight loss supplement while your on Weight Watchers? I think that would be a great way to get things moving for me. I suppose i don't have to include that information in my diet journal. Is there a particular supplement that you recommend? thanks for a super informative discussion board.

Nerissa: I really like Weight Watchers, but sometimes I want to kick into a higher gear, if you know what I mean. The Core Diet plan seems to be working for me, but I'm still not feeling like I'm losing fast enough...and I hate having to get weighed in front of other people; it's so embarrassing if you haven't lost anything. So now what I'm doing is I'm sneaking in a little miracleburn before I have to get weighed, and it's making me look better in front of everybody. I don't worry about the weigh-ins at all anymore...the combination is working out just great for me.

brenda: Hi Cat, Weight Watchers is not about Quick Success, it is a out lasting success. However if you start now you may see some progress in time for your anniversary. Depending on how much weight you want to lose you probably wont lose it ALL by then but that doesn't really matter. You just have to be dedicated and stay on course. For me it took over a year to finally reach my goal. But i have kept it off for 6 years! Be patient.

TanyaMellon: weight watcher is my once chance to get together with my girlfriends every week and we even sometimes manage to grab a drink afterward which is pretty amazing for a bunch of busy moms. I know that we all feel very empowered and our success really shows!

deb: I guess i did become impatient with Weight Watchers when i tried it 4 yrs back, and i failed at it rather quickly. But i've grown up alot since then and i wonder if it wld work better this time. Esp. since they have a non points version now.

Donna W.: The meals are actually good, and of course healthy, and since joining Weight Watchers I've learned what a "normal" portion really looks like. I started with about 85 lbs to lose and it was really difficult for me to cut back on my food. I see others have mentioned supplements, and I'd like to say that Nuphedrine (http://www.nuphedrine.com/ ) is the one that has added to my weight loss success. I burn more calories and have fewer cravings. After 6 months, I'm down 45 lbs, more than halfway to my goal! I owe it to the combo, I know I've made a lot of healthy changes, but sometimes, you need a little extra help too.

Malcolm: So, am I the only guy reading this thing? Its okay, Im used to it. I started attending Weight Watchers meetings with my wife and at first I was a little awkward but when I started to lose weight really steadily and pretty fast I no longer cared. In fact, it makes me smile when all the ladies are watching. My wife and I have made a real competition out of losing weight and I am ahead this week. I can't gloat too much around her but I had to toot my own horn for my progress somewhere. It's really just a smart way to lose extra pounds and keep em off.

Jayda: So one day when I was shoppingfor something for diner, i came across some wight watheers stuff that looked really really tasty. i'd tryed lean cusine, but it wasn't so hot, but still i took it home, and it wasn't very good and mymom had given it a try too. So i'm not going to buy this anyore, even if its supposed to make you skinny.

Justine: It's time to give this another shot; I was on Weight Watchers about 10 years ago & hated counting points AND going to the meetings. Too much of a chore. But it seems like they've made a lot of changes to the plan now, and being able to get so much info online will really help me I think. I signed up for the Core Plan, we'll see how I do this time around.

Sue MacKinnon: I do have one major concern about the Core Diet Plan. What if I get used to eating these foods until I am totally full, and then if i go off the diet, i continue to eat regular foods like that? There are some foods you just can't eat utnil you are full. Like Cheese fries!

Faby: For once I am losing weight and it feels so good! I never had success with other diets and I think Weight Watchers has so many OPTIONS. I am also using a natural supplement with a thermogenic which I'm sure is also very helpful but I feel proud of the work I am doing.

Blanca: Malcolm you are a brave man and obviously secure in your masculinity! Welcome, and congrats on your weight loss! ROCK ON!

Rita: Weight Watchers was okay for me during the winter but I am so much more active in the summer & eat more fresh fruits anyway. I know its not a diet its a lifestyle but I'm just tired of thinking about it. My mind needs a rest. Maybe I'll go back but I'm gonna see how I do on my own for awhile, without the pressure of being on a diet.

Noelle: I agree that dieting is all about self-control and volition. that's why people who get fat surgery always go back to being obese. they never have to learn to eat appropriate portions and exercise in moderation. Weight Watchers is teaching me so much about life and nutrition. I can't believe I ever weight over 200 pounds. It makes me sick.

connie: do they allow u to take diet pills on WW then bcs i think i need some help tooo, is nuphedrine safe, thx

Heidi: HI ladies, I love the freedom of the online meetings, but I also really love the idea of community and friendship that you get with Weight Watchers. I'd like to hear from some of you who have done the online thing. Do you feel like you really know these girls? Have you formed friendships and gotten support? thanks, Heidi

Cherry Lane: On Weight Watchers I have lost, let's see, 8 pounds in three weeks which is good progress. I am keeping a food journal and I have almost broken my habit of snacking after work. I try and take yoga or just write about my feelings. I am wondering about supplements, which they don't speak of much, at least where I go. I think there are good ones out there that keep you mantaining your weight and I want to try one but I don't want anyone to think I am cheating because I am being very good!

Ellen: Donna W. a couple of questions about Nuphedrine....a) Did it make you feel jittery? B.) Do you think it got your weight loss going faster than it normally would have? And C.) did you feel that it was compatible with the weight watchers plan? thanks, an answer would be great asap as i was super-impressed with the link and want to order. but i would like to hear some consumer feedback.

FRANK: For years I thought my wife was a madwoman on Weight Watchers, she was driving me crazy with all of her points. But she did lose weight, I saw how it paid off. That didn't mean I wanted to try it; until I learned they have a plan just for men, So Malcolm, you're not alone, this is a very beneficial program. I do find that supplements help, as others have mentioned, to get my metabolism going mainly. The plan covers the meals and exercises just fine, and I like being accountable more than I thought I would.

Tess:  I went to a Weight Watchers meeting right down-town, and they got me all set up with the Core Plan, which suits me the best. Now I can eat as much as I feel like, and am feeling no pain. Thanks, for giving me the best idea for losing weight yet!

Kristin: Ah, i just don't think anything's ever going to work for me. I come on this site and it just makes me sad because i can't lose weight at all. I try and try but my metabolism is just broken.

Alex: I like the Weight Watchers eat what you like plan because I believe that many diets force you to reduce caloric intake too quickly and your metabolism slows way down. I am very conscious of how my body is changing as I age and I have never been wary of taking a natural capsule like a diet pill if for instance you know you need to burn more calories to lose weight. It's all healthy and it's all good.

jules: is there Weight Watchers for vegetarians? IF so, how would you folks rate the food? On some diets, all you get is a bunch of pasta.

kimberleigh: so weight watchers isn't a fad diet i guess i always thought it was cuz u can buy the frozen meals just like atkins and zone and south beach and all these other diets. i just joined a gym butt i don eat too well so i guess i could try this if it helsp like u say thx.

Lida: When I was younger any extra weight I acquired would just melt away the moment I skipped a meal. These days it takes everything I have to stay a size 10. I really want to reduce and I like the new look and feel of Weight Watchers but I wonder if I am too old? It seems really geared for young women now and I hate to feel like the oldest girl in the room. It just isn't good for your complexion.

Cristal: Weight Watchers worked for me in the past but this time round I am having less luck. Is is just that I am older and have a slower metabolism or less willpower? I don't know what to do now...I am on it again and its slooow going.

Nicole: All the good things that are said about Weight Watchers. They're true! The Flex Plan is one I can live with, and will continue to live with. It's true I get a little confused with the point system, but when I get in trouble adding up some of the numbers, or substituting one thing for another, I just ask my kids to help me. They're really good about it, and are so proud of their mother...no Gilbert Grape kids in my family! Thanks, Weight Watchers!

joy: Well for the questions about Nuphed, I feel qualified to answer bcs I have been taking this for 6 months and feel great. I haven't had any sort of jitters or insomnia or problems of that nature at all. And i definitely feel that it got my weight loss going. I'm still on the weight watchers, and I plan to stay on it for the rest of my life.

Joanne: I have been on weightwatchers most of my adult life and have had mixed results. I mean I like the ideas, I am not just that much closer to my goal weight. Any ideas for those of you familiar with the points system?

DevonSherry: I, personally, didn't have a lot of success with Weight Watchers but many of my friends did.

Byrdie: The Weight Watchers recipes are so yummy! I will never go back to being a junk food junkie. I feel a million times better and I can't even tell you how much it has helped my love life!!

Sondra: I can finally wear clothes from the regular mall stores and not Lane Bryant and it's all thanks to Weight Watches. I love my new figure. It's so easy to go out to eat now and I know what portions are appropriate and I am not the girl on a diet. This is a lifestyle! I love it!

Jeanelle: I wonder if I'll ever get into a size 6 again? Or, maybe I shouldn't? I'm at that age when too skinny looks bad, but too fat isn't so good, either. And clothes for either end of the weight game are a problem. If you're too fat, and heavily into the women's sizes, there's nothing you'd be caught dead in. But if you're thin and a 4 or a 6, you can fit into anything, but should you? So a nice in between is what I'm after...a 10 or maybe even an 8. Weight Watchers is helping me do that. The whole program is exactly what I needed, right down to what kind of party drinks I can have. I'm so glad that alcohol isn't just about forbidden, the way it is in Atkins. If I want to have a drink, I can, and it doesn't have to be just dumb old white wine...so I'm looking for that size 8, and I'll just bet I'll get there!

Sasha: Joanne - try slim shots, they might help with your cravings, keeping your points lower. I've found that if I drink em in the mornings I never get hungry again until the next meal, so I don't have to worry as much about my total calorie intake. Hope that helps, good luck!

sandra milsek: Well I have tried and tried with weight watchers, it's like an old flame who I keep getting back together with, but we just can't make it work. I am drawn to the idea of it, but when it comes to putting it into practice, it's just a no-go. This time, I thought it would be good if i tried the Core plan because i hate counting and points, but I found myself overeaitng on it. Sigh. Maybe i will try it again someday. I probably will!

Belinda: It's really hard for me to be negative when everyone I've met through Weight Watchers has been so encouraging, and so many people here have had success, but I'm just not losing more weihgt, I reached a plateau after 3 months and have been struggling since then. I don't wanna give up but this just isn't working for me.

Nina: Weight Watchers is just what I need, right about now. My husband and I just got a divorce, and I'm really sad, and of course eating like a cow in a field of alfalfa...out of control! So not only are the diet plans good (I'm on the FlexPlan), but the time I get to spend with my new friends is really important. They're all so supportive, and will help me get through this bad time... Thanks, Weight Watchers.

shawna: What are Slim Shots? I need something to expedite my progress on Weight Watchers for sure.

Viv: Been watching my weight since I was 25, and in the past 30 years, I've simply been watching my middle expand. I'm sick of it. I don't wanna watch my weight no more, a year on this plan has been nothing but headaches for me.

Alameda: Do I have to have a food scale to do Weight Watchers cause I don't know where to get one but I was thinking I could just use my bathroom scale. I would clean it first of course. Anyway, today was basically my first day so I don't have anything to report but I will write back in later on in a few weeks if I lose a lot of weight.

Jem_687896: I'm not so sure I can do this Weight Watchers thing. I think maybe I like to eat too much, and I'm using the FlexPlan 'cause it's got most of the things I like, but it's REALLY HARD to watch portions! I mean, who's going to stop at just a couple of pancakes and a strip of bacon? Once I start eating what I love, I just keep going. So, in theory, it's a good idea, in practice, not so much.

Darcy: Hi Im new to Weight Watchers and I do like it so far, am just wondering how often i should be exercising on the plan, is 30 minutes 3 times a week enough, I forgot to ask my counselor thx.

Molly: Nina so sorry about that lousy husband of yours, you are better off! Once you get a fabulous new body you will show him what he's missing! Ugh, that makes me so sick. I'm glad you are hanging with your girls and making Weight Watchers work for you. Best of luck I am totally rooting for you!

Terri: Just joined the program last week and have been enjoying all the articles and recipes so far. This the first diet program I've signed up for, I am feeling pretty good about Weight Watchers so far, glad to know there are other places I can go to get my questions answered too. And that if I need some additional help, I can take some supplements, etc.

Nance: Does it matter that Weight Watchers doesn't really say anything about using diet pills? I guess maybe if it helps you to stay on the plan it's a good thing. I am feeling some major cravings and i feel like some HOodia would get me thru.

Sharona: Interesting what you are saying about combining products with weight watchers. I never thought of that but if anything can make me feel good and help me stick to my meal points plan I am all for it.

francine: A good Hoodia supplement is always good for any diet in my opinion. Hoodia is the best weight loss ingredient out there and it's all natural. I',m combining Weight Watchers & HOodia right now, and I feel great.

Tia: I like to look good, no matter what. Weight Watchers is helping me do just that. It's really keeping me in a nice kind of balance, so I don't have that yo yo thing going on, which has got be bad for you. I'm able to eat what I love, so I'm not craving chocolate cake or anything, because I can have some! Isn't that great? Who doesn't want to find a diet with cake in it? I'm sold on this method of weight control, 'cause that's really what it is: you're controlling your weight, so you're controlling your life. You really can have your cake and eat it too!

Lucia: I am starting a walking fit club if anyone is in my area outside of Houston (rosenberg). Weight Watchers is great but I know that us Texas girls need to get out and exercise. And it's easier and safer and works better just like WW to go in a group.

Denelle: I used to have this idea that i had to completely starve my body in order to losse weight. I had done the cabbage soup diet and all kinds of other zany calorie-deprivation diets liquid diet you name it. when i finally got around to weight watchers, my metabolism had pretty much been shot. I was doing everything right, everything the plan recommended, and still zero results. So I tried a metabolism boosting supplement and boy did that get my weight loss going. Now I can just live on sensible meals and not have to worry about crazy diets ever again.

diana: i LOOVE the weight watchers ice cream cones!! The chocolate fudge tastes just as good as any "regular" ice cream i have ever had, I swear.

Kayla: YES Slim 10 (http://www.slim10.com/offer ) does wonders for weight loss. Its my absolute favorite new product!!|!

Katrina: Weight Watchers is tried and true. I love it that I can be on it for a very long time because, frankly, I need that kind of discipline. I just can't be left alone with food! Isn't that crazy? But it's true, and if I have a meal plan to follow, and I know that other people are counting on me to make this plan work, then I have to follow it, right? Because otherwise I'd be disappointing my friends at Weight Watchers, let alone myself. So it's good to have all the guidelines, it keeps me honest about what I'm eating. And you know that old saying about cheating? How if you cheat you're only cheating yourself? Weight Watchers is right on with that!

lindsey: Darn i would love to join a fit club but i'm no where near you (Fairfax Va.) I think exercise is just as important as diet. I am going to have to seek out a walking buddy in my area somehow. Weight Watchers has been a wonderful diet plan for me, and its no wonder it has been around for years.

Carol Burrows: Do not use the weightwatchers online system, it is inflexible and difficult to use. They forced me to set a weight loss goal fo 10% of start weight, even though I neede to lose much more. When I reached that artificial goal they put me on their maintenance plan even though I am still obviously overweight. When I tried to reset my weight loss goal they said I couldn't as I had already reached the goal THEY had set for me! According to them it is only possible to go back onto the weight loss programme by falsifying the record of my past weights so that they do not go below the 10% target. I tried to do this, following their instructions to the letter, but it didn't work. I shall cancel and try some other option.

Wendy in TX: CORE all the way. I tried weight watchers once when they only had the Flex plan and did lose about 20 lbs but quit the program when my mom did because I hate having to track any and everything that goes in my mouth. After being out on disability, I came back to work and one of my coworkers had lost a lot of weight. She said she was on Weight Watchers and explained they had the Core option now. With Core you eat healthy foods form an extensive list and eat till your SATISFIED. If 10 min later you realize you want more, then EAT MORE. I love it. Simple to follow and I don't track a thing except non-Core foods. I have lost 25lbs in the last 4 months. It is slow and steady but thats what wins the race, right.

reina: I am the "odd ball" case! I tried everything but never lost weight unless I was pregnant! I joined weight watchers and GAINED weight my first three weeks! I was in tears, ready to quit when my leader had a one on one "session" with me. I was not eating enough! You have to eat your points if you are on the flex plan! I have lost 23.4 pounds since (eating like a pig!)and I thank my leader every day for helping me. I still have a lot to loose but I am hooked! I will continue to reach my weight loss goals! Weight watchers is perfect for my busy life style and the best part is- my family don't even know which foods I have switched to "weight watchers!" ha ha!!!

Karen R: I have done the WW a couple of different times in the last 20 yrs. It works every time, as long as I stay consisten with it. It gears you towards more healthy eating choices, and it also makes you more aware of how MUCH you eat. I am doing it now, just myself, not going to a group or anything, and as long as I do it, it works. The point system is not hard once you get in the swing of it. It doesn't take long to remember points for foods you eat all the time, and most veggies are 0 pts, so you can eat as much as you want and fill up on those. The WW desserts are pretty yummy, too. I don't eat a lot of processed foods, so I don't usually eat the WW prepared meals, but they are okay. Another thing is to try to have someone do it with you. Accountability really helps me. My problem is I get in temptation when my family wants to eat fried chicken or pizza, etc., and I can have those things, but I usually over indulge. Hang in there everyone.

Nicole: I joined Weight Watchers two years ago to try to lose weight for my wedding. I only intended to just "lose a few pounds" to look better...but I ended up losing 45 pounds and have kept it all of for the last 2 years. I am a lifetime member and now attend meetings for free. I had tried every other diet known to man in the past and would lose some weight but then gain it back quickly. Weight watchers is a lifestyle I can actually live with. Sure, sometimes I struggle and gain a few pounds...but then I get right back on plan and it comes right off. The key is to write down everything you eat. It really only takes a few minutes and it helps me stay on track. I think most of us who are or were overweight were not really eating the WRONG things but eating too much of ALL things. That's what I learned during my weight loss journey. I feel so much better about myself and I know I will never gain the 45 pounds back. Stay with it...if I can do it...anyone can. Weight watchers is the only true was to lose weight and change your lifestyle.

amy: Weight Watchers is definitely an awesome plan...not just a diet but a true lifestyle change. It's for the long haul. Maintenence can be tough. for many of us, maintenance is harder than the actual weight loss. Personally sometimes i feel like i need a little extra willpower, esp. when people around me are pigging out on yummy stuff and i want to control myself. I personally take these capsules called Nuphedrine, they have 2 appetite suppressants and a metabolism booster in them. They keep me on track and help me stick with my program. I have lost 84 lbs in a year and a half and i am going to KEEP it off!

Shari: I lost 25 pounds and kept it off with the Core Plan and exercising (walking, Walk Away the Pounds and The Firm)for 4 years. It has gotten a bit harder to keep the weight off since I turned 40; I set my goal weight very low, and I am questioning whether or not I need to re-visit that.

Louise: I tried WW a couple of years ago. I did the points and filled up on junk for my points. My sister is on the Core Plan and loves it. She's inspired me to try the Core Plan. Her whole family is basically on it and feel healthier although she'll substitute something for herself if the family is eating something she won't eat. Her husband is looking healthy too. The kids like the recipes she's using. I'll be back to read more!

Kathy: Of course I think its healthiest to accept that your body is gonna change as you get older, Shari and as long as you are doing whats necessary to stay healthy (exercising and eating right) I would say don't stress too much about the extra pound or two. Of course there are always the options of some natural diet products for extra assistance if you really want to maintain that weight. I actually use Slim 10 whcih I saw mentioned above, I bought it just last month and was able to drop 5 lbs with no effects. And I feel okay about this because I know I got that first 35 lbs off with WW, learning how to eat right, etc. Hope that will help you.

Connie: I have tried about every diet and weight watchers is my last hope. I have been on Atkins, TNT, cookie diet, Jenny Craig and became a vegetarian at one time. I miss being able to eat foods that I love and so feel that weight watchers or Jenny craig would work best. Volumetrics is good and makes sense that weight watchers uses this concept too. I just started the diet...when I lose my ten pounds I will let you know.

Laura: I had a really good experience with the Core Plan of Weight Watchers, its been teaching me the practical skills to maintain a healthy weight for life. And yeah, when I feel like I am in a "danger zone" of wanting to eat, i take a Hoodia pill, Hoodia P57. this pill is soo helpful to me in controlling the physical cravings. The rest, I handle with the support of WW and the great people there. I lost 62 lbs and am keeping it off!

Kim: I love WW. I have been doing the points for 9 months, I have lost 50lbs so far. (10 more to my goal) I like ww so much because it is easy and a healthy way to get rid of the extra pounds. If your life is too crazy now and cant make it to the meetings thats fine. I did ww with out the meetings. I went to a ww store and bought the books, they are very helpful and you just have to be motivated.:) Good Luck everyone

Jackie: I do Weight Watchers when I can. I am a busy mom. You know how it goes. I like going to meetings and I appreciate the new things that they have added. I have had some success losing weight when on the diet but it is never fast and never easy. I have to be focused and really dedicated. And right now is the beginning of the school year, of winter and the holiday season. I just know I will not be able to be as "good" as I should be. And I would like to maintain my current weight at worst and lose another 20 at best. I wonder if I can do the program kind of half - you know what and take a diet aid. Just for that extra kick? What do you all think? Thanks, JackiePatton

Alicia: I am really happy with Weight watcher. It may actually be the best thing I have ever done for myself. Learning how to it healthy is definately a challenge and I love it. I do wish I was loosing weight a bit more and faster too but I guess it takes time to fix all the damaged I have done to my body.

margaret: Weight Watchers has gotten a lot simpler and more "user friendly" than it used to be also you can get a lot of weight watcher foods and snacks right at the grocery store. To me that makes it easier to incorporate into normal life. I'm just starting out, but I'm feeling very optimistic about my chances of success.

Brynne: It seems like their used to be a diffrent stigma attached with weight watchers and it was a program i had no interest in at all, for years. I did every other diet from cabbage soup to lemonade and i could easly drop 5 lbs fast but i never stayed off. finaly at 41 lbs overweight I am deciding on Weight Watchers and jsut signed up for hte core plan last week.i think its fun and allows for much better foods than I ever suspected. so far i am impressed I will report back on my progress.

John: I have been on weight watcher for 6 month now and overall I can say that it is working successfully. It is very challenging for me though. I am single and work really long hours so fast food is always th easiest option. I have been strong so far and have manage to loose a lot of weight so far but I just wanted to say that it really not easy.

Rosalie: Weight Watchers helped me in the past but I just had a baby and finished nursing and I wonder if it is all that I need this time? I want to be healthy but I also want to see results. Losing a few pounds can help me get motivated. And Weight Watchers is such a slow process, as you all likely know...

Jameson: Weight Watchers has turned out to be such a life saver for me! I had 35 pounds to lose after my last baby, and I just could NOT get rid of it (the FAT, not the BABY!) until I decided to go to Weight Watchers. Plus, it gave me some time to myself, and that was really important, surrounded by three under three 24/7 is not exactly too fulfilling for me, I mean, what did I get that Master's for, anyway? That's probably part of my weight issues, now that I think about it....dear oh dear, I am just SO off track! Weight Watchers! Yes, WW has given me an important part of my self back, I've lost the , I 35, actually 40, just for good measure, using the Core Plan because I feel much better when I'm chewing something, not thinking about my next meal and planning what it will be down to the last ounce, so it's the diet I'm going to follow for the rest of my life. I just wish it' hadn't taken me four months to do, but at least it got me out of the house a lot. Whew! That's my story!

Fatburner: Is weight watcher like south beach you have to follow the diet forever?

rachel: Doing great w/Weight Watchers...the Flex Plan is perfect for me bcs I've never been good with numbers and the "points" system kinda annoyed me. This gives me a lot more freedom, and i feel like i am getting a lot of support. I am definitely starting to see results!

Bennett: I like it that I can incorporate the frozen meals that are at the grocery store with the Flex Plan, and that it's all ready all counted out for you. I also think that the snack bars are great, keep one in my purse when I just can't stand not eating another minute...overall, it's working for me, but it's so S-L-O-W!!!!! Do you think that exercising every day would help? Seems like a lot of commitment, and I wish there were an easier way, I'm starting to feel a bit obsessive...

GraceTN: I am not really familiar with South Beach but yes, when you do weight watchers, you should stick with the new healthy diet forever with more flexibility of course as you go along.

daisy_dukes: WEll I don't know how anyone could flollow Weight watchers without using the POINTS, i think i would just go crazy with the food options. I needa know exactly waht i can and cant' NOT eat its the only ways I can follow the diet. I am on WW for 2 month now and am doing okay because I am being very strict with my meals. Tracking my proggress is almost addictive so I stick wiht it and am lost 7 lbs.

Davie: sounds like weight watchers is more for people who want too loose weight over a long period of time. Am I right? In that case it's probably not for me.

Jolette: A few months ago I was still struggling to lose the last 12 lbs even on WeightWatchers (which had helped me loose the first 15) but I was at a plateau for about 6 monhts..too long. I came to the blog and saw that some people used some diet aids. I hadn't thought about that but I just wanted to say that it makes a difference. Since incorporating the Slim10 those lbs are gone now and I know i will continue to stay helathy. Thanks for the info.

Willow: Do they still do those weigh-ins at Weight Watcher's meetings? I would just HATE that! and I wouldn't go if that's what they do. My weight is my own business.

Malina: Weight Watchers is something that my mom and I do together. It's nice. I like to go to meetings to get out of the house. I am having more success than she is. She says it's her metabolism but I think it is because she sneaks Checker burgers.

katie: Well have any of you tried the Weight Watchers' Ice cream cups from the store? absolutely delicious! I recommend the chocolate fudge. Its really nice to know you can expect a certain quality from WW snacks and meals when you go to the store. To me that is HUGE.

Vicky: I think there are probably faster ways to lose weight then Weight Watchers but they care about me and I am keeping the weight off for once. Slow and steady wins the race for me.

Alan: That's my problem I am not liking any of the pre-made meals or drinks or bars Weight Watchers makes and I don't have time to cook that much during the weak. What do you guys suggest?

Briton: I've got the Core Plan going with Weight Watchers, but I am bored, bored, bored! It doesn't matter to me that my JAWS are moving, I want something interesting to eat! I might try one of the other plans, but so far, I'm thinking South Beach or Zone? I love Weight Watchers because it's so careful, but I might be ready to move onto something that's got more variety that I can follow easier.

selma g.: SOUTH BEACH IS THE BEST DIET THERE IS..WEIGHT WATCHERS IS OK BUT SOUTH BEACH IS THE BEST! THE FOOD IS AWESOME AND TI WORKS. I KNOW I HAVE USED BOTH.

benson C.: my wife was just overjoyed with weight watchers and wanted me to join (the program for men) i knew i'd packed on a few in the past couple a years and thought i'd give it a go. problem is, i am always entertaining clients, either lunch or dinner and followng the restaurant guide just doesn't/didnt work for me. i thought the online tracker and wokrouts are good but, in the end it was just a bit too much hassle for me.

Glenda: Maybe I will go back to this program; I did Weight Watchers after my first baby was born but gained it back with the second. I thought it was okay but really didn't enjoy the meetings. I've been carrying around an extra 17 lbs for 4 years now and think its time to get it off. I've seen some good family recipes on the website, that might be beneficial.Hopefully I will have beter sucess keeping the weihgt off once i lose.

Leah: You have to be realistic. I think. It's all about doing the work and having support. I have to do the work. Weight Watchers provides a lot of good things. I am losing about 1.5 pounds per week. Which is slow, I know, but at least I am doing it on my own with a little help which is good I think.

Lapis: Weight Watchers is always what I come back to, It is how I start a diet. I usually end up taking a fat burning pill at some point but then I back off that. BAsically I use a combo of a healthy diet and pills. SOme are good and some are bad. What can you do? A girl has to stay slim but you also have to have dessert sometimes. :)

kendallmyers: I read the review about weight Watchers, I have not tried it yet. Can you loose weight fast with it?

neesie: Weight Watchers is NOT a "quick fix" for weight loss....you have to stick with it and be determined. But the rewards are that you lose it the RIGHT WAY and most people KEEP it off.

Daniela: South Beach is good if you don't like carbs like I do. Weight Watchers is more balanced and that is why I think it is better. Thumbs Up.

Phillis: I am thinking about doing some type of cleansing diet to loose the bigger portion of weight and then do weight watchers. Has anyone done that?

artzy_alice: IF i didn't have Weight Watchers I'd be making pasta and stir fries every night, with lots of butter and oils. ANd I'd overeat every time. The program gives me variety of food choices and tips for cooking healthy. Or I can grab something at the supermarket and know its good for me. I don't do it so much for the weight loss as to just keep me from gaining and preventing heart disease, etc. ITs just common sense with direction for those who need it, that's how I see it.

Georgie: I know it is crass to admit but I do kind of want a quick fox. Maybe in the future I can be healthy and I really think you all are so strong and wonderful for committing to weight watchers and being such wonderful boosters of this sane program. The thing is I really want to look good for a few events coming up in my life so I have been taking a diet aid that is herbal and healthy. I really feel good when I take it and it is improving my metabolism and energy levels so I want to work out more and I am burning up calories like crazy. Again, I want to say that I believe in doing things right but when you have a supplement that is good for you how can that be bad? More power to you, whatever you do to lose weight and keep up the good work!

Ms.Vixen: The first month on Weight Watchers was difficult for me to loose more than 2 lbs. But I like the foods and know I am not putting junk in my body, its good for me to not be eating at Taco Bell asa much as I was.

NewBodyPlease: Someone mentioned Nuphedrine, thanks so much, I just read the review and it sounds just like what I need! The thing is I love weight watchers but I would love to have more energy to burn even more fat and hopefully build and nice new body. I joined a wonderful gym a couple month ago and can't even go because I am so tired. Hopefully this will change soon. Thanks again!

Cathie R.: My husband rolls his eyes every time I talk about Weight Watchers; he dosn't understand how I have been on this "diet" for 3 years. I just don't think I would still be 145 lbs if I wasn't constantly "watching my wieght," not with my 43-year-old metabolism. I never joined to lose weihgt just to maintain and its fine, it gets a thumbs up from me.

Gisella: Weight Watchers is slowly but surely, working for me! I am finally able to exercise again now that i am below 250. Thank you to a great program, and thanks also to this Blog!

Camille: You posts are making me feel better, I have been having a hard time with weight watchers for the past 3 weeks and was considering moving on. I will stick with it a while longer thanks for the comments.

BlueBelle: Using Weight Watchers I have lost 20 pounds in the last 6 months. I know this may not sound like great progress but believe me for me keeping it off and staying healthy and not binging and making myself crazy in order to be thin is soo good. i have to appreciate this program and all the women and all they do. Without it I don't know where I would be. Not as happy and healthy as I am right now. Still losing too!

Dylia: Is it free to join Weight Watchers?

Applenanofan: The Core Plan from Weight Watchers is a good one for me, I can eat as much as I want out of list of improved foods, so I'm not guessing about anything, and I can eat as often as I like, which is very important to me, I could snack all day and never eat a meal and be fine. But the only problem I have is that even though I never feel really hungry, I never feel really satisfied, either. So I'm wondering if there's a trick to this, or is there something out there that I could still eat and get a little flavor treat, and feel maybe a little fuller than the way I'm feeling right now? You know, sort of like those Calcium Chews that were chocolatey, but were also good for you? I'd really like to stick with this, but I'm feeling myself slide a bit...

joseph: I didn't think too much of WEight Watchers at first, i thought it was for people who weren't strong enough to do it on their own. But it does help to get support and advice, and esp. to have meal plans you can stick too. I have lost 15 lbs. I know i have 30 still left to go but after those first 15 i know the rest are gonna follow.

Nina: Wow, there is so much more at Weight Watchers than the last time I was involved in this program in the early 90's. I was online looking for an appetite suppressant but just for fun I might join this too.

SAMANTHA719: This is a question: I have lost 23 lbs on weight watchers and now how 15 left, but i have hit a standstill. How do you get past the plateau? Any tips??? it took me awhile to lose those 23, and i realy don't want it to be TOO long before i lose the rest!

crista sharpe: Weight Watchers is a plan for life! I was overweight throughout high school and college and finally in my mid-20s learned how to eat right and began loving exercise. I ran my first marathon last year! I feel that weight watchers has given me the tools I need for continuing to make healthy food choices and thining twice before giving into all my cravings. I do admit that taking a diet pill is good when, you know, you really want to fit into a dress better or something but overall this is good for just healthier lving I think.

Pam: Sometime I like Weight Watchers other times not so much. It goes in phases for me. Right now I am on a fasting kick and I would like to find either an appetite suppressant or a supplement that cleanses your system. I don't know that I have the willpower but I would love to try. I think it is a really neat idea. Oh I am sure I will be back here again singing the praises of weight watchers but for now I just need to try something new and different.

Julia: Apple a agree with you, I also like the Core Plan from weight watchers. I do have to say that it's not very encouraging to loose so little weight. I am really ready for big changes, it took me a while to make up my mind for a diet and now that I am doing one I expect so much more than one pound her here and there. better than nothing you can argue but not good enough for me.

Cathy: I am giving a big cheerful thumbs up! for Weight Watchers. Without this diet/lifestyle plan I would be obese as I was for 12 years. I have learned a lot and continue to learn every day about my body, about food and about fitness. I am so grateful and I think that if they can help me then they can help anybody.

Arianna: Well thank you all for all of the precious info, I think I am well informed to make a decision now. I think, I am going to try weight watchers and see how it works for me and I will try one of the supplements mentioned here if I feel like I want to speed up the diet a bit.

melissa jo: SAMANTHA: Try Slim 10, they weight loss doubled for me when I started taking it. ITs the best pill i've seen, all ingredinents are proven and no side effects. And I didn't feel guilty for taking it because I was still following weight watchers and eating nutritiously, not starving myslef, or binging. I think that could help you too.

mary: I am very proud of how i've done on Weight Watchers...it hasn't always been easy, but I have stuck to it, I have power-walked every day, and I feel and look much better. I think Weight Watchers works best for people who are ready and willing to really COMMIT to it and be faithful to the diet. I am 5 lbs away from getting my Pin and i am so happy. Sorry if it did not work for some of you, but it has truly been a blessing to me.

EileenStJames: Thanks to Weight Watchers and to this blog. I just attended my oldest daughter's wedding and I was a size 10 dress which I haven't been since my babies were babies. I am loving my new look and getting to shop for clothes is so fun. I feel good inside and out and get so many compliments. It is so nice.

SAMANTHA719: Thanks for the Info, Melissa! I'll def. look into Slim10. hopefully it will get things going for my weight loss again! :)

tina sutherland: my whole life i heard about weight watchers but have to say i am surprised by al the thumbs. maybe it is worth looking into? how does a 28-yr-old women, 5'2" & 164 lb get started? which plan?

Lila: There are definitely some great recipes from Weight Watchers. I am learning to cook for my family in new and interesting ways. I cannot believe my husband and children are enjoying eating vegetables. I am loving the diet and with the help of "willpower" I am losing weight nicely.

Avery: I think that Weight Watchers has been around for so long because it really works. I've used it a couple of times in the last 20 years, and it's like going home to an old friend. I know it will always be there for me, and I know it will give me the sort of support I need when I need it most, like now, when I just got a divorce and ate myself into 22 extra pounds of fat! But I know that with Weight Watchers, I can drop this emotional eating, get rid of the weight, and start myself up again. That's a really neat thing to be able to count on...

Donna: Good to hear I am not the only one who is impatient to see the weight go away. weight Watchers is definately the diet for me, no doubts about that. It makes sense and I for the first time I am loosing weight on a diet. So, I just wish I could loose it faster.

terry_hanes: Wel I think Weight Watchers work because they got every aspect covered for helping people loose they weight. Diet & excercise & behavior all plays a part in gaining AND losing. I do admit to snacking sometimes tho & until I can control that better (it is sort of habitual i think) i am happy taking appetite suppressants (hoodia) for making me not think about it so much.

blueyeyes64: I don't even think its that hard to stay on WEight Watchers....theres no counting (flex plan) and the WEight Watchers foods i get from the grocery store are absolutely delicious! I don't feel deprived at all! They even make Cream Cheese (yum yum).

cynthia: ladies, i know it might take a while to loose the weight with Weight Watchers but HANG IN THERE! Permanent change takes time, has been my experience with it!!!

jasmyn: I have definitely started seeing some results on Weight Watchers Core Plan (4 and a half months). ALl of the encouragement I have been getting on the online discussion groups has helped a lot. I have made a lot of friends in this program, even though we haven't actually met in person.

Diana_OH: I am having a tougher time than most of you it seems but I remain strong, cook from the cook book on the weekend and eat the pre-made meals during the weak. Not the best tasting food I have had but I am loosing pounds and that is what matter to me. So, overall I am pleased.

barbara: Weight Watchers online version helps me with lots of "real life" scenarios, like finding something healthy to eat at a work lunch, going out to dinner, getting thru the holidays, etc. these are all situations where normally i cave in and fall off the wagon. But the cool thing about Weight Watchers is that the program really does support you and help you with strategies for those kinds of situations.

Randee: IT has only been 3 weeks since i joined Weight Watchers and following the program is easier than I expected! I don;t know why I didn't bite the bullet and join years ago. I am glad to hear that the weight loss takes time, I was concerned since only one pound is gone so far, but I just feel good that I am able to stick to the guidelines and feel satisfied. SLow progress is better than NO progress.

Tina: I have to say the blog is so much easier than "the meetings" at weight Watchers. I love reading about you experience on Weight watchers, very inspiring every time I feel like giving up. I have been sort of a voyeur for awhile and decide to write a little something myself:)

Kelly: Wow, I really can't believe the amount of positive post, its very inspiring. Maybe Weight Watchers is the diet plan for me.

Emma: Weight Watchers is based on 4 pillars - behavior, food, support and exercise. IT sounds simple, but really, these are so important. The best part, in my opinion is the support. Weight Watchers is there for you and doesnt let you get off track. For me that is HUGE. I also give myself some added support by taking a Hoodia pill for appetite. That's my little 5th pillar. But all in all, this is the most comprehensive diet i have ever been on, and it's working.

cheeseburger_paradise: For 2 weeks I was doing pretty good with Weight Watchers and last night I had to go to a birthday dinner with some friends. I was worreid that I would just blow the whole diet right then & there but I read some of the tips on the website first. I stuck to drinking mineral water, passed on the appetizers and was able to feel okay with only eating half of the meal. But when i got home, about an hour later I really wanted to dive in and eat the rest. I held back this time by just brushing my teeth and going to bed but I am afraid I won't be abel to do so well every time...does it get easier, or is there a way to handle this even better?

Delilah: JUst wondering, is the support 24 hours? Sometimes I am still up at 2 a.m. and all I wanna do is snack. Will weight watchers be there for me at that time??

Barbara: A bit confusing at first for me, counting points ect felt a bit gimmicky. Once I got the hang of it, it became really fun. I followed all the advice/rules and pounds started to drop. It's been 4 months now since joining weight Watchers and as happy as I am with the plan, I really wish I was loosing more weight. I feel like at this pace, I am not even ready for the beach next summer. We will see, I may start working out 5 days instead of 3 per week.

Sona: Yes of course Delilah, you have online support 24H. I use it sometimes i the middle of the night.

kate: hi Delilah, I'm a night binger too...seems like there's almost always another lonely snacker out there in cyber space.

wiseGuy903: Eating out was my biggest problem on Weight Watchers (or any diet) for the longest time: I was so afraid of failure that I declined all offers for nearly 3 months. That's no way to live, though, and the guidleines & tips you can get from the site really are valuable. I used to need a beer or glass of wine in any social situation, but I've learned to limit myself now and I'm okay. I'm okay because its been about a year and I have lost 37 lbs. It takes some willpower but I found the more I stuck with it (smaller portions, no alcohol, no desserts) the better I felt and the easier it became.

deedee: Well, it's nice to see that so many of you enjoy the online WEight Watchers, but i personally prefer going to meetings. I like the sense of Camaraderie that i get when i meet with others with the same struggles. At our local meetings, myself and my friend Suzanne are the Meeting Leaders, and its nice to have that level of responsibility. it keeps me going to the meetings, and gives me a feeling of achievement. Weight Watchers has become more than a diet for me, its a part of my life, and its a community i belong to, like the PTA or my church. we have a shared goal and we support each other.

MArla: "WiseGuy", I like your post, I find it inspiring. I have had great success with weight Watchers and have been begging my husband to join as well but he just does not think it's for him. I shall show him this site, I feel like it might help him. Thanks again!

salisbury_jr: this program was starting to get boring, i have to stay, i was almost ready to quit weight watchers due to lack of motivation and the weight loss platuae i was at. then i saw the ultimate walking challenge on the website and i've decided to train for a half marathon (walking, not running). i;m 6 weeks into the trainign and feeling good. sometimes i guess you just need to spice things up, i;m glad this program has extra tips.

Christine: I feel like such a looser after reading all those positive post but I am sorry Weight Watchers was not for me at all. Like it has also been mentioned on the blog, it's takes time to get to your goal and I don't know if it's the fact that I live in NYC or what but I just can't wait that long. I am not asking for 10 lbs a week but 5 would be nice.

Amara: The program IS boring. I have really given Weight Watchers my best shot, and well, the weight is not budging. I lost 9 lbs in the first 2 weeks, and maybe a pound a month for 3 months. That's all. I was exercising before and watching my calories but the program is just not working for me. I am surprised by all the postive thumbs, actually, I expected more.

Patti: Well, of course most diets ARE boring, and i think maybe people get "impatient" because Weight Watchers is more gradual than other programs. But the thing is...the weight really does stay off. I have done so many diets in the past where i lost the weight quickly, then gained it back just as quickly. That's what happens when you have that "instant gratification" mentality. That feeling of wanting it NOW! is also the reason so many people eat fast food! which is how we got where we are in the first place. I think sooner or later, we all learn that we have to slow down, have patience, and really strive for lasting results. For me, Weight Watchers has done that. it fits into my life, and my life isn't boring!

LIZA: It has been 6 weeks and the wieght is not coming off fast. I was close to quitting weight watchers until I read this blog; I am seeing that it will take more time. Thanks for the tips too, I didn't know I could include a fat burner and I think that will be wise for me, I'd like to loose 50+ lbs, maybe this will help.

Melody: I am seriously considering supplements to help me burn more fat. I love weight watchers don't get me wrong but I think I would be happier if I reached my goal of loosing about 50 lbs sooner. I saw a couple names were mentioned above and I may just try one of those. Overall it's a great program though.

Norrie: The articles and recipes are interesting, not boring at all. You have to think of Weight Watchers as a lifestyle not just a diet. DId you gain al that weight in 3 months? Most likely it took years to put on, so it will take some time to come off. Stick with it, Weight watchers works, just takes a little patience!

kelli: so but can you take an appetite suppressant while your own Weight Watchers? Is it OK?

f.Davis: Weight watchers was a chore until i added some Nuphedrine to the diet plan. With the hunger pangs not so strong I am able to appreciate the "true" portion sizes I should be eating and the extra energy gets my butt to the gym 5 x a week. If you're feeling bored, do somethign about it!

bridget: I don't think there is anything wrong with taking a thermogenic (Fat burning) supplement while on Weight Watchers. I love this plan.

Tisha: It's so weird, I have no problem fasting for a month for religious beliefs but when it comes to following a diet I just dont have the strength, it so bizarre. I do need to do something about my extra weight, I am starting to have health issues as a result. Weight watchers in one of the few I have to tried and you all seem really pleased about it. I am going to give it a try. Thanks very much for sharing your experiences.

Blyss: Kelli - YES! It is ok to take an appetite suppressant while on weight watchers, it will just help you not obsess over food so much (thats how it worked for me at least) Try something natural, Hoodia is a good one. And I like HoodiaP57 since it is stimulant free.

sarah jones: After more than 20 years of yoyo dieting, Weight Watchers is the first program that's given me lasting results. I lost my weight (37lbs) a year ago today, and I have kept it off a full year. I'm proud of myself and i'm grateful to the ongoing support of Weight Watchers.

DEE: Call me impatient if you want to, but I just don't see the point of staying on this so-called "diet" plan when I am not losing weight? I am so frustrated because i have been doing everything right: trying new recipes, tracking my points, exercising, etc, and it just not working! After 4 months I thought i'd be done to a size 8, at least. I'd be happy to be a 10 even. Nope here I am, stil a 14 and holding strong. What am I doing wrong???

Andreah: Okay I am ready to start dieting! I just did search on google for weihgt watchers and saw this review, wow! So many positive things to say, its good to know its not just a fad diet like others. I think maybe the core plan is what i want, thanks for all the info!

Zoe: I know it's not easy but working out, any kind of work out help tremendously to accelerate the process of loosing weight. At least it did for me. Weight Watchers is simply the best diet plan for me.

rhonda: For me, the Flex Plan is definitely the way to go. I get so tired of TRACKING everything all the time...and to tell ya the truth, i don't do the journal thing. i just kind of plan my meals and stick to 'em. I really like the fact that i get support without NAGGING and i don't have to go to stupid meetings. I manage it all myself and its working....lost 16 lbs so far. Everybody has their different style, and I'm glad Weight Watchers has figured that out!!!

Maryanne: THe way I think about Weight Watchers is just like a basic guideline for eating right and staying active. Really its not the best method of weight loss, I know a lot of people who fail on this, or who have been on it for years and look exactly the same. They are basically heatlhy, but, not thin. Supplements are really key to success on this, as long as you are getting something proven and natural, etc. That's how I did it, lost 42 lbs with inclusion of a good pill, and am now maintaining based on the principles of Weight watchers.

ginette: r the weight watchers meetings like OA (overeaters anon) ? i dont like to speak about my problems in public..

liza: Ginette: in my experience Weight Watchers doesn't delve as much into yr childhood and your inner pain. They do counsel you on behavior but you dont have to relive all your traumas like in OA. I like it a lot. And if you dont like meetings you can just do online

Nina: I have never been to a OA meeting but I can tell you that the Weight Watchers meetings are really friendly. We are not treated like sick people but like people who have a goal which happens to be loosing weight. It's not for everyone though, some people find th meeting to be too borings, I happen to like them.

r0xanne: Really, I don;t know how anyone could think of Weight Watchers as "lifetime" program or soemthng, not for $40 a month. I'd rather invest a fat burner and be done with it, sorry.

debbie: i like fat burners and Weight Watchers...its not an either/or situation and it helps with my behavioral issues AND my slow metabolism. so i feel like i have it all covered. I've kept off my weight for 6 mos. now.

Claire: I am recommending Weight Watchers to any one who is committed to learn a new way of eating and who is aware that it will take time to get to your goal. I is working wonderfully well for me. I do not go to support group meetings, I don't have a need for it. I have lost 22 lbs this year and have 16 more to go.

nsaraya39: it's very inspriing to here of other's successes on weihgt watchers.i thank you for the comments and am confident i can to stick with the program until my goals is met.

BOBO: CAn I stil buy the food at the grocer store if I am not on the Weight watchers porgram and get same benefits of losing wight?

Ella: After reading the review it sounds like Weight Watchers is by far the best option for me. That and South Beach Diet. South beach diet does not have as many good posts as Weights Watchers and they don;t have the online support WW has. With that said I am pleased to announce that I decided to join. I will definately keep the blog posted on my progress. Wish me luck

Vivvy: So what does Oprah recommend these days for weight loss?? ALthough, she's not exactly a skinny minny. But i really do like that Dr. Oz she has on the show, and i am wondering what he suggests in terms of healthy dieting.

Annie Waters: As much as I love what I've learned from Weight Watchers, I have to agree that it takes a little more than making lifestyle changes if you have serious weight to loose. I was nearly 60 lbs overweight last year and btwn Weight watchers and Slim10 (http://www.slim10.com/patented ) i've lost 49 lbs! didnt' think it could happen but here i am, about 8 lbs til my target weight and feeling great.

Anonymous: Most people I know (myself included) who are doing Weight Watchers point system are still fat! This is just my opinion, but I think I just keep paying to feel good about myself, like I am still doing it... but the truth is that it does NOT really work. I mean simply because you CAN eat what you want might be part of the problem.

diane: i like to stay on track by eating little Weight Watchers chocolate snack bars, i absolutely MUST have chocolate in some limited form. I just have 1 or 2 per day and it helps curb my cravings and hold me over til dinner.

michelle: some of the things weight watchers has done to make losing weight easier for us is really smart, i think, its like they address a lot of the reasons why our country has become so fat. i just wanna know, thou, why Applebees? Couldn't they team up with a better restaurant, i hate going there. oh well, i don't need to spend money eating out anyway.

Camille: The thing with chocolate is once I taste it I can't stop, so I stay away from all of weight watchers snacks for that reason. I am a lot stricter than the plan with myself, I think that is why it is working so good for me. 13lbs in 6 months, not bad right!

Terriann: You know though, this is to an earlier post, fat does not necessarily equal "unfit" it is possible to have a few extra pounds and still be considered basically fit. If you are eating healthy meals and exercising you are still doing something good for your body. Weight Watchers can work, stick with it.

Barbe: Boy, it's so freaking hard to loose weight I hate it. No matter what has been said here if you are really committed to Weight Watchers, it is really difficult. I have managed to remain strong for 8 months but let me tell you it has not been fun. Just wanted to say that.

EDEN: PLEASE STOP TALKING ABOUT CHOCOLAT THIS IS A DIET BLOG AND I AM SITTNG 10 FEET AWAY FROM A VENDING MACHINE.. :)

maggie: i have learned to control myself and know what my "trigger" foods are so yeah, i steer clear of the chocolate snacks bcs i know i will eat too many. but there are still lots of other delicious snacks that i eat on weight watchers in moderation. Esp. love the ice creams (not choc of course) and the cookies.

PatDan: YEah I am at the point now where i just buy the weight watchers frozen entrees for work so i have a healthy lunch. I take a hoodia supplement to get me through the rest of the day though. this way i eat less but when i do eat, its a nutritious meal. I have been averaging a 2lb/week weight loss this way.

kimberly: Well, I am going to continue giving my best effort to Weight Watchers...i don't want to give up, since it sounds like so many of you have succeeded. But i do have my "weak moments," that's for sure. Maybe i will turn to the weight watchers community (message board, maybe even meetings) for maximum support. I really really hope i can do it this time! its just tough with those cravings. But i have to be stronger than them. Thanks for your advice, wish me luck!

Kerry: In 6 months on Weight Watchers, all I really lost was time and money. And..5 lbs. The approach might work for some people, those who don't know how to cook nutritious meals or who always overeat butt that is not me. I was always thin until 2 years ago when I a. had a baby & b. turned 30. I want to be back down to 125 ASAP and exercising, etc isn't enough. I know i can maintain once i get there, but I NEED TO GET THERE!! I still have about 20 lbs to go, i can't believe I am STILL carrying this extra weight. I'm done with this program and looking for something that will work faster for me-thanks.

june: when i first joined weight watchers i thought it was good and working out for me. i lost 12 lbs and then stopped losing. i had a wedding approaching so i bought some diet pills online to loose the rest. i guess the program got me started, but, it was not nearly enough. good recipes, though.

Geraldine: ITs great to see that most people are still fond of the Weight Watchers program despite the slow progress. I ahve to say, I am losng my patience, if I am dieting, I want to lose the weight and see results. I really am trying but my metabolism is so darn slow. I have read the posts and it seems that people here who have lost the most weight have also used diet aids.

Norah: All of the optimism I had about Weight watchers has faded. I hate to lower the rating, but it just wasnt the best program for me. I mean its like, common sense, and all but I just don't have like 10 years to get the weihgt off, i want to lose sooner than that.

Dirk: It isn't a diet. It is a program that teaches you how to eat healthy and responsibly. For it to succeed, you are basically agreeing to eat healthy the rest of your life. The mistake is when people try to use it as a diet program. It is easy to loose weight with the program. The mistake comes when people loose the weight they want, and then think they can go back to eating how they did before. That is an absolute prescription for failure. It teaches you sensible, balanced and healthy eating. You can eat anything, but not all the time and definitely in proportion to your overall diet. It empahsises healthy eating choices, balanced diet, and exercise. To me, it is the healthiest program you can find to learn to control your eating and stay healthy.

Liddy: I couldn't get to meetings, found the website boring and impenetrable and overall was underwhelmed with the Weight Watchers Diet. It felt like something my mother would have done in the 80's (In fact I think she did.) It is not the right fit for me.

Olive: 20 pounds ago, I would never have thought that Weight Watchers would work for me, but that was then and this is now. I can't believe I finally did it! I know that's not a huge lot of weight, and I've still got another 20 to go, and yeah, it took me almost 6 months to do it, but I have a feeling the next 20 will go way easier because I've trained myself in a healthy way to eat, and now I walk every morning, and I'm convinced I'm going to stick with a form of this for the rest of my life. What a relief to finally find myself!

miranda: All i know is, i've tried at least 5 different diets over my 27 years of life, and all have failed, except for WEight Watchers. THere's a reason this diet has been around forever, and that's because it is GOOD. It's healthy and sensible and you can maintain it long term. Now that they have a no-points option its even better for me. The only problem is yes, sometimes I have cravings for bad stuff and i worry i might cave into them someday. But so far, it's bee over a year ad i have kept my 35 pounds off!!!

Christen: Its really not that easy, though, I don't think. I mean, i feel good that I've made teh decision to eat healthy but there are so many days when I just don't want to even think about my "diet." But i am so terrifed that even giving in once will just make me spin out of control so I have not strayed yet. Every day I;m afraid though that I wont make it through without cheatng..

Abigail: I am just beginning Weight Watchers again for the third time and though it hasn't been completely effective in the past I am hoping that with their new programs and my renewed dedication that I am able to reach my goal weight and stay there.

Fara: Sorry if the question as been answered already, I dont have time to read all the post but was just wondering how much do you guys spend on average monthly for the weight watchers plan? Thank you so much, will log in after work to read the answer.

vickie: Hi to answer your question Fara i paid $46.90 for first month, and $16.95 for each additional month. That's the standard plan for Weight Watchers. I like the plan but i also worry about my appetite and making sure i maintain my results.

Pandora: I've been on Weight Watchers for two months and I know it's really healthy and safe and I'm retraining my mind and blah blah, but it's slow and I'm bored! Plus, the weight is slow to come off, that's for sure, only 7 pounds in two months and I was hoping for something a little more wham bang but I know this is good for me, I know I can do it, so of course I can stick with it, I just wish it were a bit more exciting, although how a diet can be thrilling, I don't know.

Jolise: 2 months ago i was ready to throw in the towel with Weight Watchers...for all the changes I was making in my diet, the weight was not leaving my hips! I did some research into other diet options and really this plan still seemed like the best. bUT, i learned about ways to sort of supplement the program and decided to try the Hoodia Bites http://www.hoodiabites.com/mags/. Its great because now, I am eating even fewer calories and not obsessing over it. Lost 16 lbs since then (8/28)

Jeane: Weight Watchers just doesn't work for me. I know it does for many people but I have a really slow metabolism.

Isa: Just a quick post because, this has been a very interesting blog to read (lot of posts wow) and I wanted to add that yes, I agree, I think that weight watchers has been around for such a long time because it is a good diet program that people tend to respond to but I must say that being on Weight watchers for now 4 months, I just can't help being disappointed by how slow I am loosing the weight. I know some of you have replied to that very defensively by saying that it takes time for a good diet to work, but I just can't help feeling like this is wrong. I'll stick to it because it is somehow working but I am defined open to switching to something else, I am not married to weight Watchers at all.

catherine: I admit that WEight Watchers IS slow-going, nothing worthwhile comes "instantly." But i do agree with yall that it helps to have a little "secret weapon" to keep you strong. I have never tried HOodia before, but it might be a interesting way to keep my weight off during the maintenance phase, which I'm now going into. Thanks for the tips, a great blog and a helpful resource! xoxo catherine

Paris: I saw Rodney King on t.v. last night, remember him the "Why can't we all just get along" guy? Well, now he's on Drue Pinsky's program, along with that crazy motorcycle crash guy,, that Gary Busey? or however you spell it. Anyway, Rodney's still a troubled man, big alcohol problems, but what he says keeps him sober is telling himself that Tomorrow, he can have a drink. So that's what I'm doing. Tomorrow, I can eat an entire pound of Godiva. And you know what? Along with Weight Watchers, I think it's going to work! Got my fingers crossed, and I'll let you know if I fall off the food wagon.

mary krause: oh boy i've tried every diet in the book, atkins, cabbage soup, master cleanse, plus a whole slew of diet pills tht just jacked me up on caffeine. i always saw weight watchers as this strange...cult or something, where women were just obsessed with counting their points. i didn't get it. but some friends of mine swear by it now and since i learned they made some changes i'm interested in giving it a try. seems like lots of you are fairly pleased and thats encouraging. thanks.

strange_girl: not sure about that philosophy paris...what do you do when you wake up realizing tomorrow never comes?

anonymousFace: My sister started doing Weight Watchers at the same time as I did. She is very competitive which is a great motivating factor for us. It's been 6 months and I noticed that she is loosing much more weight than I am, maybe 25%-30% more. I was wondering what could I take to speed up my metabolism without having any side effects. I don't have any health problem but I hate caffeine. Thanks I appreciate it. I guess I am as competitive as she is, although I will tell her if I take a supplement, I am fair.

stacia: WEight Watchers has gotten a lot more "do-able" now, since there's an on-line program and also a Flex Plan that involves no points. So its not the way some of you might remember it with going to the meetings, counting points, etc. The good thing about weight watchers is it does evolve with the times. That is how it has lasted for so long, It's not a "quick fix" but it can be a long term solution if you stay with it.

Dee: I can't give Weight Watchers a thumbs down since my best friend lost almost 80 pounds on this plan - one of their real success stories, but for me it doesn't work, which just proves that we are all different and there has got to be a product or program out there that will work for me eventually.

GigioneonONE: Weight Watchers is fine for when you have all the time in the world but I just found out my on;y son is getting married in December and I need ot lose 40 pounds. This just isn't going to work, I need a miracle. Know of one?

Char Q.: Is it "against the rules" of weight watchers to use diet pills, anyone know? I see some of you say they good & work, esp Hoodia, but I feel like,, isnt that cheating?

Rhanie: Here's what I think. I tried Weight Watchers for a couple of months, only lost about 3 pounds and I ate celery and cucumbers until I thought I was going to throw up, and I just can't eat this rabbity food all the time, I need a baked potato with sour cream, no questions asked, so I'm going to exercise 2 hours a day and see if that doesn't get rid of this 25, Jillian Michaels says running is the best to lose weight, the cardio kicks up your metabolism, so that's what I'm going to do, Can't take this slow kind of torture diet.

TopFab: Can you do weight watchers without having to sign up for the program? I mean I can just do the recipes and exercise on my own and tell consider myself on weight watchers?

Alex: Weight Watchers is a good, sensible program. What you lose you keep off. Now, I am not breaking any weekly weight loss records, which is a bummer since no one has noticed I have lost 5 pounds but still I am hopeful.

T.S.R.: GIGI - Miracleburn is pretty darn close to miracle. I follow weight watchers but was not losing so fast either. First I tried CortiSlim but that didn't make any difference and then i got the Miracleburn pills. Weights been coming off, like 3x as fast.

Tellia: Rhanie, I think that eating poorly and trying to get rid of the calorie you just ate is a form of bulimia. It has to be a balanced of both food and workout.

lynn: yeah, i agree...i think weight watchers is not gonna help if you need to reach a certain goal very quickly. Its good for long term, but its not especially quick. I am looking around right now for something that could help me really "jump-start" the weight loss before i go on a cruise in early Dec., but so far I can't decide. Any advce would be most welcome.

Dove: Weight Watchers is half the battle. I can take all their advice and wisdom to heart but if I am starving all day I will pig out. These are the facts. I need an appetite suppressant, that's all there is to it.

Salty: I HATE the fat I have around my middle, do you think Weight Watchers will get rid of that or is it the kind stress fat we're always hearing about? The Cortisol thing? Do you have to diet differently for that?

Brea: I was just telling my husband this morning that I was thinking about not eating at all for awhile since weight watchers is not giving me the result I want. He thought that I was being crazy but honestly that is what I am about to try. I know some of you have had better luck with taking supplements but it is just now what I am about, I want to look at myself in the mirror and tell myself "you did it girl!"

Lori Horine: Weight Watchers IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cloe: Brea you can do what you want but starving yourself is definately not the solution. Do you want to die?

rush981: No one says you have to eat "rabbit food" on Weight WAtchers, Rhanie, they have plenty of good recipes and very satisfying meals. And by the way, plain non-fat yogurt is an excellent subsitute for sour cream without all the fat and calories. running is probably a great idea, anyway, my knees ache too much or i would take that up myself.

Tawyna: What about a good cleanse with Weight Watchers, so you can get it moving, if you catch my drift. I think I'm going to try that, otherwise, this is too slow for me.

TC: I am so bored with Weight Watchers, I could spit. I know they've got everything you could possibly want, but everything is starting to taste the same, and I'm trying to cut down on my salt and all that, but it's all so bland, and I'm thinking the deserts taste like the pasta taste like the chicken. Don't think I'm going to make it much longer, Marie Callendar's better watch out!

marge: well i recently reached my weight watchers Goal of 50 lbs Lost, and i now have earned a Lifetime Free Membership to weight watchers as long as i don't gain 4 or more pounds back. I am so exited but also worried: sometimes i can gain 4 lbs in the blink of an eye. I DONT want to lose my membership, i worked so hard! any tips???

BLAIR: Losing weight on Weight Watchers is also not taking care of my disporportionate body. Its like i am slowly getting smaller but still look the same, if that makes any sense. I just ordered the Flex Belt to take care of my abs - cortisol pills and crap like that weren;'t doing anything, and sit-ups? Didn't put a dent in my stomach. I am confident that exercising the muscles and continuing eating right is the best way to go.

Tessa: Hahahaha on myself! I just rread Tawyna's entry, and I thought it said "cheese" instead of "cleanse"! That's about where I am with Weight Watchers...hungry! Know it's a good plan, but something's gotta give pretty soon.

Kristythomas2@yahoo.com: I am not going to the meetings at weight watchers anymore. I don't know if you guys ever been but i dont like the way they talk to me, as if I had some type of retardation. Okay I am fat but my brain is still functioning I think. Not the best approach to help people loose weight. I am fine on my own with my computer.

Janellle: Just want to say that the recipes are good and I appreciate having healthy food choices on Weight Watchers. Its half the battle. BUt I just joined my local gym and also take a fat burner to really whip my butt into shape.

Anonymous: mmm cheese. u r allowed to eat cheese on weight watchers right?

lila: haha, "cheese" instead of "cleanse"! well, cheese certain doesn't "Get things moving," it slows things down. I need something to speed things up with my WeightWatchers. I am having a lot of Joint pain and my dr. says i had better lose weight asap.

UFO Dreamer: I think the only way I'll ever lose weight is if a bunch of aliens kidnap me and keep me isolated on their space ship for about a year, and that's about what it would take to lose this 60 pounds, Weight Watchers is not helping me much, I cheat all the time.

Tania: Good to hear the truth. I have been to many other sites to document myself about weight watchers and I have to say by far this one is the most interesting. So I guess never assume something is great because it's been around for a long time right. Anyway, thanks, I am going to try something else i think.

charmaine: What about the Vegetarian weight Watchers? I'm used to most diets not really having a very good vegetarian programme...I am not a vegan, btw, just a lacto-ovo vegetarain, and i am wondering if there are any good protein substitutes as part of this plan. THX Char

MARK INGRAM: Just started using Weight watchers Online (for men) and I think its gonna be good. Handy being able to track my progress from my iphone...probably wouldn't work if i had to always be at home doing this but i'm always traveling and this super convenient.

Sammy: You can download an application for the iphone which allows you to keep watching your cal even when you are out. It's pretty neat I think. I also think it works on other phones. I may use this to keep track of my results. :)

Suzanne: I saw that but I would not know how to use an iphone or a blueberry phone or however they call those fancy phones.

Unforgetable66: Weight Watchers, is wonderful thats why its been around so long. I used to watch the biggest Loser and I still like that. These are my 2 ab fabs! xoxo

shepherd: Its been almost 3 months and I begning to wonder, whats the point?? i lost about 6 lbs first month on Weight Watchers and then I lost 2 the second and nohting this month. I do online program but maybe I needa got to a mtg? I don;t wanna give up but feel lost.

Victoria Gettys: Well, Weight Watchers is still around for a reason, I guess, but it seems pretty old fashioned to me, I mean we can all just eat right and exercise, but what's the punch line? What's the gimmick? That's what I want to know to make me stick with this because so far I've lost only 3 pounds in two weeks and that's mightily slow going.

Renee: I read on sensational.com/diet that weight watchers was like what you all are saying here, SLOW. I think this is a really good site there are so any opinions and experiences and you can feel like whatever your experience with Weight Watches (or whatever) you are validated. I appreciate that because I have a hard time dieting and like to read about others failures and of course successes. Thanks Renee. ;)

Wednesday: I've lost ony 8 pounds in six months, and yikes that doesn't seem like much when you consider all the mental anguish! Every day's a battle with myself, and I'm thinking it's not worth it, that Weight Watchers is not going to be the best thing for me to continue with, but I'm so glad I read the blog today and I think if I add an appetite suppressant it will work a whole lot better. That's my next shot.

CuriousGeorge: Whats the MOST anyone ever lost with Weight WAtchers? THe program and nothing else?

Miri: Weight Watchers is good for maintanence but I need to lose like 20 pounds fast. I am going to take your recommendations and try em out wish me luck!

Whitney: So will WEight Watchers really keep my weight off once I quit? That's a huge concern for me, usually what happens is I'm so happy to have real food again at the end of diet that I just munch myself back to where I was before I started.

YoungLadyNE: I've been fat all my life, and now I'm only 23, but I could lose 100 pounds, and do you think that's possible with Weight Watchers? My doctor said that I must for my health/

Fara: THANK YOU FOR ALL THE ADVICE!

Anonymous: another vote for weightwatchers i love it and haev done it for years. the frozen meals do come in handy.

Tomeeka from Milwaukee: This programs work with motivation and determination. I decided to do the points system which helped me lose 35 pounds (over my 10% mark) within months. The meetings along with the points calculator helps you focus on your goal. When I was unable to attend the meetings due to a lack of transportion it caused me to start back on my bad habits. I let this hender cause me to loose focus on what was not only making me happy with the weight lose but what was making me healthy. Don't give up like I did keep pressing on. I miss going to the meetings; our group was losing the most weight with our team leader, Connie.

Sheryl: Weight Watchers is an amazing, consistently reliable weight loss program, and it gives you the guidance and encouragement you need to have lasting results. I now have my Lifetime Membership pin and i'm not going to screw that up. I am going to take advantage of the free resources I've earned and stay looking and feeling great. If you are willing to work, you WILL do it!

Marley: The weight is Just NOT coming off, though! I'm getting really really frustrated with Weihgt Watchers, only lost 6 lbs in 4 months! I know I'm eating better and taking better care of myself but when do I see results??

gabriela: marley don't give up! this is the only program that's worked for me, they DO offer lots of support and the meals are very very healthy. maybe you should try taking a a fat burner too, that's what i do and it burns more calories. nuphedrines a good one, safe & natural, burns something like 500 extra calories a day. so try that with weight watchers, maybe it will help?? good luck the program is one that will help the weigh stay off for good, if you stick to it!

Desiree: I have been on weight watchers for a month and a few pounds have sneaked up on me twice without me CHEATING. I don't think this is for me if this is happening. What am i suppose to do to see a steady weight loss and not up and down off and on?

Francie: Exercising helps, for keeping the weight loss more steady, its important to stay active, and then I don't think about food so much. Weight Watchers is a great guideline for me & my weihgt loss, you know, I learn what/how to eat and all that. I also can't get enought of those Hoodia bites, so that I'm less tempted to cheat at all.

Catherine: I was successful using Weight Watchers 7 years ago - I lost 12 pounds in 3 months. But, I tried it again recently, and now, at age 50, it doesn't seem to work. Only lost 2 pounds in about a month, and I was exercising, too. I think I need something to help with hormone imbalance before I'm going to loose weight, and since WW doesn't help with that, it didn't do it for me this time.

Pat: ITs true, the weight is a lot quicker to come on and slower to get off, these days. I struggled for a year on Weight Watchers before really seeing results ( lost 14 lbs in the year) and then I thought maybe something extra would help, before totaly quitting WW. I just felt like, if I quit i would be a "quitter" adn thats not me. For the last 4 months I have included Slim 10 diet pills for extra energy, fewer cravings, etc and my weight loss has increasd, I've lost 24 lbs just since I started. Don't give up Catherine, just improvise a bit!

KymCarp: I did Weight Watchers back in 2005. It was the only diet that worked for me at the time. I could follow the plan, but the meetings were somewhat annoying. However, I lost 30 lbs in four months. I'm not sure if I was just more motivated back then or what, but I went back last year (had put a few pounds back on) and it wasn't effective at all. Now I'm looking for something else...I hear South Beach is good.

Tiffany: I started Weight Watchers in August of 2007. I became a Lifetime Member in March of 2008. It has almost been a year and the weight is still off. At first, I was irritated by tracking points and started to feel obsessed...but then, I just learned what was what and weened myself off of such strict tracking because I just knew. It does take will power at first, but it is worth it!

stephanie: hey Kym, Well, i used to feel the same way about Weight Watcher meetings, but thank god, the mandatory meetings are now a thing of the past. You can do your whole program online, which is awesome for me. Also you can do a plan that doens't involve points if you prefer. its all become a lot more flexible than it used to be. but hey, South Beach is definitely a good diet as well. In my opinion, you really can't go wrong with either of those time-tested options. good luck!

My-Ky: I am just beginning the Weight Watchers point system again. There was a helpful website that would assist with calculating points from well known resturant menus. Can anyone assist?

sara: hey, My-Ky, I think you can get that restaurant points information on the Weight Watchers Dining Out Companion. I'm not doing a points program myself so i haven't checked it out. I am really happy with the freedom i have with no points but everyone is different! Good luck!

Anonymous: Weight watchers keeps on changing too often in an attempt to get you to keep coming. Many of the leaders lead you to believe that you can only be successful if you attend their class. Their products are expensive and contain a lot of artificial and chemical ingredients. I believe that a middle of the road approach is the only way to be able to not just lose but maintain. Relying on fat free and sugar free is not a lifestyle approach.

BETTYJ: I SIGNED UP FORWEIGHT WATCHERS ON LINE BUT HAVE NOT GOTTEN ANY INFORMATION TO GO ON. MY CREDIT CARD WAS ACCEPTED SO I AMGETTING CHARGED BUT NO INFORMATION.

Dianne: WW is a good program. My only problem is I have the monthly pass and am supposed to be able to use etools and can't login and can't seem to be able to find anyone to help me resolve this. I have a thread of 10 or more emails in the past couple of days. It is a little pricey.

Jackie: I've tried just about every diet, pill, and shake out there over the years and I have found that Weight Watchers is the only plan which consistently offers weight loss through a good sensible program. I am a compulsive eater and the Weight Watchers plan has taught me to recognize healthy choices and food choices. In reading some of the other comments, some have mentioned that the weight doesn't come off quickly enough, but keep in mind that the weight didn't go on overnight. If you truly follow the plan, you can expect an honest 2-4 lb. weight loss weekly. As in any weight loss program, you can't just keep going on and off because you will only gain the weight back. WW is a life-long sensible plan - a lifestyle change. WW recommends eating ALL your points daily, but I don't. If I'm full, I stop eating. I am completely happy with this program and the amount of loss I have achieved. The smarter foods you choose. If you are a compulsive eater, this is the solution.

gwen: I think weight watchers is a solid, top-notch diet program that's only gotten better over the years. I really appreciate that i don't have to go to meetings anymroe, and can do my online thing! Initially i was going for the no-points system too, but then i realised that was a littlle too much freedom for me and so i went back to points. Still, its a tried and true program and it definitely can give you results if you are willing to do the work.

Aph: Weight Watchers can work. Any diet can work, it all depends on the person working. If you do not commit to eating better and exercising then you will not see results. Don't blame the plan blame the participant. We controll our outcomes when we try to lose weight.

Kathy: HI, i found a diet pill on this site (hoodia p57) that is making it easier for me to stick to Weight Watchers and do well. The HOodia is helping me to be content with smaller portions, which was tough to get used to at first. but now a weight watchers meal leaves me totally full, sometimes i can't even finish one, which would have seemed impossible before. I plan to make it to my goal and get my lifetime membership to Weight Watchers, and keep this weight off for good. thanks to this blog for such accurate reviews/rankings.

Theresa: I just joined weight watchers about a little over a month ago I lost 7 lbs my goal is 45lbs to go I know weight watchers works I did it twenty years ago and I had a great leader she siad something to me there are no failures in weight watchers just quitters, so I say stick it out I once lost over 45lbs and maintained it for years, then I tried fad diets and was yo yoing no good weight watchers is for me I once met Jean Neidich and she signed one of her books for she is very funny I recommend anyone seriously interested in loosing weight to get a copy

Melanie: I did the Weight Watchers Flex Plan in 2004 and lost 48 lbs. in 4 months! It is not easy, but losing weight never really is. I gained back my weight and then some after a failed pregnancy and then a failed marriage. I just started again last week, and have already lost 7 lbs. This diet does not allow for cheaters! I am walking this time around, to help build muscle tone, last time I did not. I have never went to meetings, and I find them costly and I don't have the time. You can do it on your own if you if the will power!!

Maggie: Weight watchers like any program requires a comitment. If you don't create a balance between excerise and a healthly eating plan - you won't lose the weight. Most people in meetings consider walking down the block their form of excerise and use excuses why they can't workout. I have serious sports injuries and I have lost seventy pounds through ww and excersie. This plan makes you accountable - again it all comes down to you - get off your butt - take it step by step with diet and excerise. Focus on feeling stronger with your body and how your clothes fit! Don't give up - hard work = success! If you are honest with yourself how you eat and effort in excerising you will see results - writing things down helps.

Stephanie: Weight Watchers is the BEST program for safe, consistent, long-term weight loss. Pills, potions, and wraps are short-term methods that generally end up with the user gaining back all of their weight, and then some, as I can tell you from first-hand experience and plenty of research. I've lost over 30 lbs with WW, and while it is not the fastest method out there, it is the only one that is sustainable for the long-term. Plans requiring purchased pre-portioned meals or multiple pills each day are great - as long as you can continue to buy the meals and pills for the rest of your life. As soon as you give up the pre-packaged foods and the pills, the pounds will return... and probably bring friends! Weight Watchers gives you the tools to maintain your goal weight without having to continue on the plan (or continue paying fees!) If you have a legitimate commitment to starting a healthy lifestyle and losing weight in the process, Weight Watchers is by far the best program available.

dianne: I have been a lifetime member of WW since around 1975 and I totally believe it is the healthiest and safest way to loose weight and in keeping it off. Last year (and it did take just about a full year) I lost around 75 lbs. but before I realized it I had gained about 35 lbs. back. Hopefully, I am back on track and will loose that plus about 25 more. It just comes back so very fast and I have to realize just because people are telling me I am getting too skinny, that is not the green light to start gorging myself. This is a choice of life.

Sarah: People on here seem to think that it should be easy to lose weight. It isn't. Any type of accomplishment in life takes hard work and disapline. I imagine many of you have gone to college and completed degrees, work full time jobs, raise children, ecetera. These things also take time, dedication, and effort. Some people seem to think that they shouldn't have to watch what they eat for the rest of their lives, that it is too much work. But if you are overweight, there is a reason, and aside from medical reasons it is usually from our own behaviors. These behaviors need to be modified in order to lose weight. It's that simple. If you really want to lose weight, you will. If you don't, you won't.

Matthew: Definitely. Weight Watchers is a thumbs up!

*C*: Hi All! I am planning to begin my weight watchers journey tmrw and felt that this would be a great way to begin. I need motivation. I don't have an extreme amount to lose but I am getting married in December, and Disney World in June, Beach in July and I would like to get in better shape. I would love to join the blog! ♥ *C* PS Im bad to not count points when i "pick" at food and I think this is my problem area!

Angie: I lost over 75 pounds on WW and kept it off until I was put on some medications that really messed me up. Now I'm back to square again, but determined to do it. I used the flex plan several years ago and I found that you will learn the points very quickly and you can add them in your head while making a meal. But make sure you jot them down in your book. I found traveling was not problem or fast food places, just learn to eat wisely. When you REALLY WANT TOO.. you will. You have to be at the point that you are going to do it no matter what. Good luck to all, and find a buddy....

john bucchi: my name is john. I have lost 161Lbs. with ww. I am one away from becoming lifetime member. congrates to my team leader michele eubanks out of algonquin ill.

Anonymous: How can I loss weight 246.6

Jean: Hi, I have a question...once you become a lifetime member what happens if you miss weighing in one month or if your weight is above your goal weight? Thanks.
