I recently purchased the fullbar at my local store (the cocoa one) It was terrible and did not work at all. I tried to contact the company and was on hold for 30+ minutes. I even tried emailing them and accually got one response, asking for my info and have not heard from them since. I have even went to the store where I purchased them and reported the problems I have had! Not only the bars are gross but the customer service is not existant. Plus the boxes at the store jumped more than $2.00. What waste of money and time.

I bought the full bars awhile back. I find that the hardest part of the day for me is supper. I work...and am starved by the time I get home in the afternoon. I have been eating the full bar at work, 30 minutes before I leave work with a full glass of water. I have to walk aways to my vehicle...and I find I am not starved when I am driving home. I get home, my husband has dinner ready...and I eat far less food...much more slowly because I am not starved. I had a Healthy Choice meal last night...and it lasted me till bedtime. Last week, my husband made turkey chile...and I found that one cup of turkey chili lasted me through the night. In the morning I eat either special K or oatmeal, for lunch, a salad and slim fast bar and then at 4:00 the full bar and a sensible amount of food for dinner. I have been walking a mile or more a day. I have a lot of weight to loose...and over the course of five weeks I have lost 12 pounds as of today. It is not a appetite suppressent...but it does cut down on hunger. It gives me a chance to stay in control at my hungriest part of the day. I will probably find that in a couple of months...when my eating habits become a habit...I may not need anything to get me through that hard time in the afternoon.

After reading many reviews posted here, it looks like people are using Fullbar as a snack to suppress appetite between meals. That is not the intended purpose. It is a fiber product to be taken 30 minutes before lunch and dinner to allow it time to expand to fill your stomach up to the point so as to mimic bypass surgery. I went to a bypass surgery seminar and learned that your brain doesn't tell you that you are full until your stomach gets filled to that point very near the opening to your stomach. By allowing the fullbar the time to expand to that point, your brain will send the message that you are full before you can eat up a storm. Timing is everything with this product. It's not a snack, or a dessert, or an appetite suppressant, or a metabolism booster. It is purely meant to mimic bypass surgery without the surgery. You need to follow the instructions!

So I was thinking the full bas is going to kind or swell up and fill me up. It didn't. I still ate the same. I have had better luck with eating half a serving of oatmeal and a glas of water 20-30 minutes before a meal. Good luck to everyone.

This works if you can feel the triggers that your brain sends that you are full. If you eat these and eat what you would normally eat, you'll gain weight, because you are adding another 400 calories to your daily total. In a week that 2800 calories, which is almost enough to gain a pound. There is no quick fix. Just eat less and exercise more. There is a book called Volumetrics, that shows you how to take foods, and add low calorie, low fat items to it to make more, and fill you up. This along with the Full Bars is working for me.

Pure disappointment. They way they sell it, as we've all seen, is to state that it is supposed to fill up your stomach partially, thus eliminating urge to overeat. I bought a box, ate half (one at a time...different days of course). My hand on my heart, they were no more filling than a granola bar or bowl of cereal. Definitely should NOT be touted as a substitute for gastric procedures;that's sadly ridiculous.
