The Chocolate Chip FullBar satisfied my craving for sweets, but I didn't find it to be effective for weight loss at all. What happened was, I would eat this in-between meals, but still eat the same amount of food at every meal. I did manage to stay away from the Milky Way bars, but...no weight lost.

I thought Fullbar would really help me get thru meals without overeating, but I found that it had a very temporary effect. I felt slightly full for a bit, but I still was hungry enough to overeat at dinner. Plus i didn't enjoy the taste of this, and for me that makes a big difference. It just didn't seem powerful enough.

Fullbar is just a snack like any other snack. It;s not bad or anything, but there's no magic weight loss power to it. After eating them for a week or so, i got bored of them. This is definitely not good enough to stop me from overeating

The concept of these FullBars makes sense, its too bad it never filled me up. I bought 3 boxes of these, spent almost $150 in a vain attempt to loose weight. I liked that they are all natural, etc, it just was not enough sustenance for me. In the end it was pretty pointless, would love to find a method that works.

At first I thought Fullbar was helping, but then one day i ran out of them and i had a regular granola bar instead with the 8 oz glass of water that they recommend. That worked just as well. I realized that the water probably did more than the Fullbar did. It's kind of clever of them to tell you to drink water with it, it makes the product seem more effective. I'm just gonna drink a bunch of water instead.

I think the Fullbar must cause your sugar to spike. I would, as someone said, feel sated for an hour or so and then I would become ravenous. I would end up eating my lunch too soon and then a snack at lunch and then a coffee and cake in the afternoon. I think I ended up consuming an extra 400-600 calories.

Well, I have been eating the FullBars for just a few days, I like how they taste (bought Cranberry Almond, seemed healthiest) I'm wondering if I should've ordered more than one box though, I just realized that this one will only last 2 weeks. I kinda assumed I was getting a full month supply, for $50. I'm not sure if they're worth that much.
jocelyn Says:

Yes, i think it's important to remember that these things are no calorie free...they;re like 170 calories a piece. so you can't just go eating them with abandon and think you're gonna lose weight! Personaly they did not work for me. I'm going to look for something with Hoodia instead.

Good point, they tell you to drink water to help you feel full. I did lose 2 lbs, actually in the month I ate these but I really don't think it was from antyhign the FullBars did, I think it was just the concept of eating SOMETHING more nutritious prior to a meal, plus water. I'm not buying more, I'm gonna experiment with fresh fruit & veggies for the next month, see how that goes.
with_heart Says:

I have decided to take the wisdom to heart but subtract the product from the experiment. I was absolutely dedicated to my Fullbars when one day a friend who is a nutritionist (and super skinny) and read the product label. She suggested I instead try her mix of nuts and dried fruit and snack on that before a meal I feel pressured about. That works just as well if not better! I am consistently losing 1 or 2 more pounds a week with this method. But still, I wonder if an appetite suppressant would be even more effective for me?

The Peanut Butter Crunch Bars taste very BLAND, the water was useful to wash it down but I could never just snack on these regularly. Maybe FullBar wold be better if they made them more flavorful.

The tagline should be "maintain weight with fullbar" I did not gain but nor did I lose. that would be fine once I reached my goal of losing 20 pounds by August 8th. sooo...now what?
Liet Says:
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:21 pm
Not worth 20 bucks I don't think. It's just common sense basically. The caramel apple fullbar is an okay snack but I don't really see how it's worth the time and all. Plus, now I'm turned off to the whole enterprise. I am committed to losing a size or two but trying to find another method or product I prefer better.

Hey I think they're alright, I lost 4 lbs this month with FullBar. It is sorta an eexpensive diet method but I'll take anything that works right now, I can't let myself gain any more weight.
wendy Says:

Someone had asked about whether there is an appetite suppressant in fullbar...well i looked at the ingredients and didn't see ANY. so i think basically this is interchangeable with any old energy bar or snack bar out there. There are a lot of those these days, so i feel like i can pick & choose.

for the same 170 calories as the cocoa chip Fullbar I can indulge in my favorite cookies. I drink a ton of water before a meal and maybe have a handful of almonds. same affect and much more satisfying.
Terri Says:

Here's how i look at Fullbar, they're a fairly healthy snack (altho I really prefer a "100 calorie pack" of something that actually tastes good) but they are NOT a weight loss product! They don't have an appeitte suppresant or a metabolism booster or anything else that would justify the label of "diet product." They're a snack. End of story. They're not even my favorite snack.
Eleanor Says:
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:28 pm
FullBar is full of things I don't need. I would rather take a walk to get my metabolism going before I eat rather than consume more and be obsessed with the calories. I take my mind off dieting that way which helps me stay on track.

Did not lose any weihgt with FullBar, ate them for 3 months. I didn't gain weight either, luckily, but they just didn't seem to have any affect on my appetite. Hoodia Bites (http://www.hoodiabites.com/mags/ ) have been working better. Same concept, you take them when you feel hungry, and they really help satisfy cravings. Lost 6 lbs in 3 weeks so far.
Jamie Says:

Yeah, actually i get 100 calorie packs of either Pringles (when i'm in a salty mood) or Chips Ahoy (sweet, obviously). They taste good and give me the same "snack" fullness as a Fullbar but only 100 calories. I'm on here looking for a good weight loss product that will actually INCREASE MY METABOLISM. Can anybody give me advice on that???I would really appreciate it.

Why it didn't occur to me that these were not some miracle weight loss bar and just another granola/energy/candy bar I don't know. Now I am stuck with 6 boxes and no one in my house likes them - not even my 10 year old who would eat old socks if I let him. Anyone want some FullBars at a very deep discount? :)

well i am usually ravenous while preparing dinner so eating one of the fullbars has been a useful way for me to calm down and enjoy the preparation more, rather than getting all irritable bcs i am so hungry. i only eat them once a day, they last longer this way, don't know if i;m losing weight but it does help some.

Eating small meals is good for your metabolism I have read. That's why some diets prescribe 6 small meals a day. That just doesn't really work with my lifestyle and neither did the Full Bar products. I always would forget to eat them and they would wind up melted in the bottom of my purse. I'm trying to do fresh fruit now that more is in season. we shall see.

I have been testing out different methods, using the FullBar technique. One day I eat a cranberry bar before dinner the next day i'll just have one of those big bottles of San Pelligrino and the next day nothing. I did this for 2 weeks and took notes in my food diary. While I did notice that on FullBar days I ate less meat I actually went back to snack on carbs later in the evening after I did the dishes and gave the kids a bath. And I wasn't exercising bar and I didn't have more energy, in fact I had less. I am going to continue on without the Full Bars, drink water by the gallon, both still and bubbly and see if I lose any. So far, about 4 pounds. not great for three weeks of concentrated effort.

I am not even getting on the damn scale because I know I will be even more angry than I am already. I have a party tomorrow that I wanted to be thin for. this is not a diet i can say i enjoy but the one thing i can say about fullbars is that i am eating my meals more regularly. i have really been trying to stick to the method so i schedule my meals in order to eat one of thes bars 30 min ahead of time. this has prevented me from grabbing the chips or crackers the minute i walk in the door, or from skipping lunch altogether, like i sometimes do. no weight lost yet but i am feeling more in control of my hunger i guess.

I have a significant amount of weight to lose and obviously I love to eat. A diet that involved eating more delicious treats sounded right up my alley. I would expect that after I ate the FullBar and drank all the water, just as they say that my appetite for dinner would be diminished. That was never the case. Maybe this is only good for young women with only 10 or 20 pounds to lose. This isn't about vanity for me. I need to lose weight or I will do. plain and simple. My doctor told me I could have gastric bypass and it would be covered by insurance but I am afraid. I want to live and be healthy. This wasted my time and I don't know how much of it I have.

Eat more fiber and take soup with your for lunch. I only used Full Bar for when I was on vacation and I did maintain my weight rather than gain but I don't cut corners during my "real life". It is so much better for you to prepare your own food. You can connect with it and imbue the food you with your self love and subtle energy. Processed food makes you sick more often than not. Better than nothing when you're stuck, I suppose but not a way to live well.

So after I had my son last year I found it very difficult to adjust to eating "normal" sized portions, even though I was no longer growing a child inside of me. I would just automatically fix my meals as if I was still pregnant, and this was not helping my weight. i have been eating FullBArs for several weeks and I am eating less. I like to take a Full Bar and break it into three pieces. I take one piece in the morning with coffee, the second in the afternoon with a big bottle of water and the third at night with a glass of wine. In between I take the Zone diet but I make it myself and also take an energy pill twice per day. I have lost 7 pounds in the last two weeks and I feel that this is satisfactory progress.

FullBar really is no different than a granola bar, just advertised as a diet product. And that allows them to charge like 4x as much for a box. At least. I tend to double up on the diet products when I really want to lose weight like for an important upcoming event or something. So since I have an anniversary coming I decided to take an appetite suppressant pill I bought at the Eckhert and this Full Bar thing as well. I'm not sure I have lost weight but my stomach is in knots most of the time and so I don't always want to eat at normal times. I tend to have a midnight snack which I know is bad. I on;y have two months to lose 40 pounds. feeling daunted and discouraged.

Not a good product at all. My wife tried to convince me to take these, she said I was eating whatever was in front of me without abandon, not thinking about when to stop. She was right, but, it's gonna take more than FullBar to change my appetite. I was doing the same with them, eating like 2 or 3 before meals, then still eating a coomplete meal. Gained 5 lbs, gotta try something else.

I bet he's making a huge profit. Well, here's one customer he's lost. I was faithfully buying the FullBars for months, I liked them and they seemed healthy. I have used it for 3 months now and have lost between 1-2 pounds per week. To me it's a hunger management tool; I am careful about making sure I am eating the right types of food and only eat until I am full. Biggest scam on the face of the earth! Like the above posts, they say on the ad you can try them for a month for $7.99 shipping and handling. They then ask for your credit card number and billing info. After this, you have to decline the other offers or they will charge you the $170 and they tell you to buy the $170 "3 month" supply or you can't get your free month. The final message after I kept saying "no" was that my order was canceled. That's fine with me, however, I am concerned that they have my credit card information and that I may still be charged. They state over and over if you are not satisfied at any time they will refund your money, but if you can't reach an actual person I don't trust that at all! I work with general surgeons every day and I am shocked that an actual surgeon is involved in this mess. I did look him up and he is legit although a little questionable. STAY AWAY!!! Water and granola bars will probably work as well!!!

Well as I should have expected I once again got took. These bars were awful. The taste was soooooo bad. But it did give me food for thought! (hehe) After trying this for 2 weeks and only losing 1 lb (which was probably a fluke) i decided to experiment. I picked out some granola nut bars that I can at least swallow without gagging, and followed FullBar's instructions and ate 1 with a full glass of water and waited etc. Well I'll be danged if it didn't work as good as the FullBar and at least taste wise I could eat the bar without wanting to throw up. (I'm really not a big fan of granola bars etc). Anyway I followed instructions but just ate my own choice of over the counter bars and I didn't even particularly pay attention to ingredients or calories. Anyway after 2 weeks (which is how long i tried FullBar and only lost 1 lb.) I had lost 4 lbs. So basically I think "FullBar" is so much another gimmick. It's way tooooooo expensive, tastes terrible and I got even better results just using any kind of "bar" i wanted. So people save your money and frustration. If this is the way you want to go, just pick out some bars you know you like and will eat and try them with full glass off water and wait 30 minutes before eating. You will still get that full feeling. And if you are like me you will have better results at a fraction of the price. Good luck.

I need good snacks for kids to keep them on track of healthy eating. Both boys have a weight issue, which they are working on, but always complain of feeling hungry. We have emptied the cupboards. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Well Full Bar was not a good choice for me, for weight loss. I think Kitty may be onto something, drinking water & eating any nutritious snack might help prevent bingeing on unhealthy items. And I wouldn't feed these to my kids either. I think snacks like cereal & milk, apples & peanut butter, string cheese or any fresh fruit/veggie are good for filling up the kids and giving them protein & vitamins. Still looking for a way to lose 17 lbs myself, though..

I cannot believe what I'm reading. The way you are suppose to use the bar is to eat it with a glass of water a 1/2 hour before your 2 biggest meals of the day so you will eat less. It is not a snack bar, and although they would like things to taste good, it is still a weightloss tool!
And why are people expecting free bars? This is a business. No freebies! And there is nutritional info on the site regarding ingredients. Do some research. Why would anyone think this has drugs, natural or not that would suppress appetite? There is never a claim like that. This is natural, and in case you don't know this, some of the ingredients expand with water causing the fullness you will experience if you use this bar correctly.
Educate yourselves!
Julie Says:
August 11th, 2008 at 4:57 pm
The reasons people are asking about an appetite suppressant, Monika, is that we want to know HOW FULLBAR CAN CALL ITSELF A WEIGHT LOSS TOOL! you can eat a banana before your biggest meal with a glass of water. Does that make a banana a weight loss tool? NO - its just a banana.
PEople are asking about special ingredients becasue they want to know how this company justifies selling it as anything other than a SNACK!
I would love it if YOU Can educate US as to how this is any thing more than a healthy, filling snack?????
thanks!

I have been on the FULLBAR 2 weeks now. I LOVE THEM, I eat one in the morning, wait about 5 -10 mins then have my bottled water about 9oz. I finish getting ready for work and I have a sensible breakfast, usually a bowl of Cheerios and toast. I feel great for the next 4 hours. I drive a 18 wheeler, so I snack on fruits and low fat/ no fat items. Then I have another FULLBAR around 11:00 am with another bottled water, and a SlimFast. I feel great, and for Dinner I have a sensible dinner. Brown Rice and lots of veggies, fish or some kind of meat, and again finish off with fruit. I feel great and looking great. I am happy with the taste of the FULLBAR. You have to make an effort, FULLBAR or not you have to tell yourself, I cant sit here at Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner and PIG OUT, and expect to lose weight. Plus some type of exercise helps things along. I buy my FULLBARS at the Military Base at our GNC, they only cost $2.50 a BAR and $29.99 for a FULL Box. Not bad compared to the online prices.

Probably the worst diet I ever tried! Full Bar sat in my stomach too and I felt really bloated. Made it hard to exercise. Someone asked about metabolism booster, I like Nuphedrine (http://www.nuphedrine.com/specialoffer ) it gets me moving plus cuts the cravings (it has hoodia) I found it on this blog site, when I decided to quit Full Bar last month. Fullbar sucks, it has no effect on weight loss, it tastes like crap, and its full of syrups and carbs. I hear some of you saying that you have to "control yourself" on fullbar. Well, then just control yourself. What do you even need these fullbars for? They're no more magical than a South Beach Diet Bar or Nutrgrain as someone mentioned.
It would be one thing if these bars had metabolism boosters or app. suppressants, but they don't. They're just like any other snack bar.

If these other diets are working so well for you all; IE: psyllium husks, apples, hoodia, etc. then why are you searching for another way to loose weight? I think I had gained some weight because I ate too much; not because I ate something with carbs.

The full bar is, at best, a ineffective weight loss program. At worst, it is an absolute scam and rip off. Do not send this idiot any of your hard earned money. Rene' RN Says:

As a nurse that has assisted numerous bariatric surgeons (including Dr. Michael Snyder) in surgery, I would like to note that no weight loss method is foolproof if you do not follow the guidelines. This includes diets, weight loss products, and even bariatric surgery itself. Pay close attention to the purpose of the FullBar; it is NOT a meal replacement or a "snack". Essentially, it is used only to fill your stomach up so that it does not take near as much food to make you feel satiated (full). Whether you use the FullBar, psyullium, veggies, granola, or whatever to do this, fine. But do not expect to eat this bar and have it work if you do not follow the directions. Most complaints about ineffectiveness seem to come from those people not following the directions.
In regards to taking diet pills and supplements, be aware that these are not necessarily evaluated by the FDA; not only do they not have to be effective, they do not even have to be SAFE to be sold. I have taken care of several patients that have seriously injured themselves (and in two cases even died) by taking dangerouse over-the-counter "miracles". Just something to think about. Be careful.
Finally, to those calling Dr. Snyder an "idiot" and the like, know that he really is a caring individual and his patients love him. Regardless of his intentions in creating this product and although I have not seem him for several years, I cannot see him trying to scam the public. I agree that signing people up for months of a product they do not want is wrong; if this is the marketing practice, then it is deceitful and a whole other matter which may not even be related to Dr. Snyder at all.
Whatever you chose, be aware that there is no "easy" way to lose weight. It is a long tough journey whatever the route, requiring a decrease in intake and an increase in exercise. Good luck with whatever you chose.

Cannot speak for everyone about following the directions for using FullBar, but I did use it as directed and was not able to lose weight. IT caused some stomach pains at time, not every time I ate it but often. And I found myself eating smaller meals but still wanting more later on. So it was not very satiating. Hope it works for some, but didn't do it for me.

I can't believe the naivete of those who seem to think you can eat a non diet meal and lose weight by eating a "bar!!" It's not supposed to be a snack or meal replacement. You feel bloated?? Well, DUH! That's how it feels to avoid overeating. Same as surgery. You feel full and don't eat as much. But you still need to leave in the goodies, veggies, protein, etc. I ordered online and it made if very clear that your free month came at the end of a regular supply, like a 2 for 1. I'll let you know later how it works, after I give it a chance. Who cares what it tastes like, it's a filler to make you think you feel full. Expensive, yes.
Catherine Says:
November 8th, 2008 at 1:05 pm
I am glad that I had a chance to read all of your comments regarding the Fullbar. It does sound like a scam in that you are forced to buy 2 months before receiving your free box.
Do you all want to know how to increase your metobolism??? Well its very simple...exercise...exercise and excercise!!!! Specifically weight lifting and aerobics 5 to 6 times per week, 30-60 minutes per day. Building muscle and endurance is how you increase your metobolism. I have lost 40lbs in the last few months by doing this. I eat a reasonable diet consisting of complex carbs, low fat protein, fresh fruit and veggies...and yes every day I have a few squares of dark chocolate as my treat.
These bars sound like nothing more than a product that is filled with simple carbs (not good for keeping blood sugar on a steady level) and lots of fillers that expand (that is why some of you are feeling bloated.
If you want a great snack bar that is organic and very tasty and totally reasonably priced...try the kid version of the Cliff bar. They are called Cliff kid Z bar. They are approximately 120-140 calories per bar and are all organic. They come in peanut butter, double chocolate, and chocholate chip. I buy them at Costco, a box of 24 for $10.89 They are very tasty...I sometimes have them as a snack or even for lunch with a glass of milk. Give these a try...with a bottle of water I am sure they will fill you up without emptying your pocket book.
Good luck to you all...just never give up...

I love FullBar! It is the only thing I have tried that has been sustainable. You have t get through the first few days and then they work very well. I am down 20 pounds in 2.5 months! And I really have not felt like I have been on a diet at all. Just eating less, like it says. I have tried the same concept with things like apples or whole grain bread and it was not nearly as effective. There is something in this stuff that really works! It's worth the price - but I found them cheaper at GNC than on the website.
Jessie Says:
November 12th, 2008 at 8:28 pm
Maybe you have to have a fairly small stomach to begin with (and not much weight to lose) for these to be effective: when I ate one, I was so bloated and full I didn't feel like eating dinner at all! It's definitely more filling than a regular granola bar, IMO. Adding some sugar-free strawberry jam as a topping really improved the flavor. It's totally something I'll buy again.
tara Says:
November 13th, 2008 at 11:40 am
yes, i agree with Jessie! If your small enough, Fullbar will definitely make you feel EXTREMELY bloated before meals. I've always had a rather small stomach and these bars make me feel really really uncomfortable so that dinner is the last thing i want. I agree, the taste is just medium, but I spruce it up with some peanut butter or even some honey on top...technically you really don't need to use sugar free toppings since these bars do have sugar anyway. But this def. fills up my poor little stomach!
Vera Says:

Oh, Ok....well, but what if you're not some tiny creature with an itty-bitty stomach ? What if you weigh 248 lbs and probably have a stomach bigger than most women's purses? I don't get full easily, which is exactly why i am looking into a product like this. The fact that Fullbar doesn't have an apeptite suppressant worries me, as does the fact that it seems to be best for people with small stomachs. Also, the fact that people seem to feel the need to dress these bars up with all kids of toppings just to make them edible...well, it makes me think i should just get any old snack bar at the grocery store and it would be just as good!
dori Says:
November 13th, 2008 at 2:03 pm

Saw the ad for Fullbar for first tlme last week and, as with all other weight loss products, I was figured it was just another "yeah, sure" deal. After reading comments here, now I know that beyond a doubt! The ONLY real cure for normal overweight is to eat better, eat less, and move more. There is no magic pill, some may work for a while but the money spent on that is better spent on a nutritional consultant and/or a gym membership...or maybe Weight watchers, which does work, teaches you how to eat well, and you get a support group.
my two cents...thanks

Ok, guys...after reading all the reviews on Fullbar, how about we all do a little experiment? Get all the ingredients listed on the label(this should be very easy in any store) and make up our own batch like a Rice Krispies kind of mixture. Pack the mixture down very compactly to simulate what the Fullbar seems to be. Eat a comparable square and follow it w/ the recommended 8 oz. water. I bet we'll ALL feel more full..we've got to, either big or small stomachs. I'm not knocking fullbar; its just way too expensive for me but the premise seems logical, as Rene, RN stated. Fullbar contains NOTHING that would should cause any of us to think its a"scam". Its just designed to make us feel more Full but it sure sounds way too expensive! If one bar is too much, each half of it! Let's see what happens!:} I can't wait to make my own pseudo-Fullbar. Buying the ingredients ourselves would cut the cost drastically!

I enjoy my Full bar with a glass of milk once or twice a day as a good snack. no more chips, this is all I need for hte afternoon. Maybe not how its designed but it works for me this way, I stil avoid the junk.

I am here to give a thumbs down to the so called diet product known as Full Bar. What the heck are these things doing on the market? I could have eaten a Nature valley or a Kudos bar for that matter and had a more enjoyable experience and neither of those claim to be anything more than they are. A snack. Full bar wasn't even a good snack. I would roll through the drive thru an hour after eating one of these terrible tasting bars.

That's a really great idea Shelly, I liked the idea of full Bar because its easy to take on the go and chopping veggies takes too much prep time, but, I think its probably a healthier option. I;m gonna try to do that first and if it doesn't wrk, maybe I;ll look into Fullbar.

I guess i didn't know the difference between a regular lowfat snack bar and an appetite supressant. I thought that Fullbar would make you eat less because it had some special ingredient in there that would curb your appetite. But it seems that this has nothing of the kind. Pretty disappointing.

The full bars were not helpful to me. Maybe they are to others, but based on these posts it doesn't seem like it. I would just like a regular, real appetite suppressant like caffeine or hoodia, but gentle, but that works. I am just frustrated and venting my frustrations. Thanks.

There really doesn't seem to be much protein or fiber in these Full bars. 4 or 5 grams? Really I think I'd be better off with a Luna bar or maybe those Atkins bars, they probably have more protein. I cannot imagine feeling ful after just one of these bars. Very glad I looked into it, it doesn't soound so promising any more.

I thought the Peanut Butter Crunch bars weren't too bad, but as a way to lose weight, none of the Full Bars seem to be any good, I mean, i could at least eat the peanut butter ones, the rest were not good at all, and I don't know how these stay on the market because they must only go to one time buyers, but I guess there a lot of us big girls in the U.S. that are willing to try anything, but once you've had a couple of full bars, you're sure not going to go back for more.
Cloe Says:
December 11th, 2008 at 11:43 am
I think the reason we all thought that the fullBar were gonna suppress our appetite is because that Pseudo Dr who invented them said so. When you complain to the company they said that everyone is different so it may not worked for me as well as for somebody else! Guess what that is BS because all I am reading here is people who feel the same way as I did while eating the bars, they do not work!
Dawn Says:

Not sure what all the negativity is for...if you eat the Full bar as directed, it makes your stomach expand and you eat less. its pretty simple and its working for me, been eating them every day for a week now and i am always full before the last bite is gone off my plate, at meals.

South Beach LIving also makes some nice snacks, I like the peanut butter wafers coated in dark chocolate. Anyway, you can just pick whatever and it's going to be as good as fullbar, you may as well pick based on taste. sometimes when i want to feel full i eat an apple before dinner..they have a lot of fiber and studies have shown that people who eat apples before meals consume fewer calories.

Well, I think Fullbars are fine, they taste okay, but I think for my weight, I need something that's going to actually get things going a little bit faster. I have nearly 60 lbs i need to lose, and the reality is, its going to take more than a snack bar to do that.
Jeanne Dodd Says:
December 11th, 2008 at 12:00 pm
In theory, FullBar could work i think. I mean, if you are really in tuned to your appetite, eating one of this with a glass of water could make you think, okay, i'm no longer hungry so i'll stop. The problem, I think, is that we are not used to eating less, those of us who are overweight...we don;t know wHEN enough is enough. I was brough t up believing that you cleaned your plate, ate until there was nothing left. and this was not a problem i could manage with Full bar. the simple fact was, I was eating 360 MORE calories every day, from 2 of these, and that result ed in a slight weight GAIN over 2months. Maybe you can blame me, I don't necessarily blame the bars, however, I know they were not a good aid for me & my diet.

Full Bars are not even as good as Luna Bars, that's what I think, they don't taste as good, and they sure don't make me full. I need a real appetite suppressant, not a way to trick my body with some fiber that swells...I can eat my way right around that!

Eating the full bar with your meal did not work , it did not curb my hunger this way . I lost 12 lbs in 14 days after I started following the instructions . I have ordered more.

This is a silly product.
You can product the same results with a cup of raw veggies and 1/2 cup fruit, 2 oz of a lean meat like chicken breast, tuna, shrimp, or other lean meat, 1 tsp of olive oil, lemon or lime juice, and a 1 or 2 tbsps of a whole grain cereal like Ezkiel 4:9. Don't waste your money, just eat a nice salad with clean foods at lunch and dinner. You will feel MUCH less hungry and smaller portions will satisfy you at your main meal...

Why waste money on Full bar when you could just fill up on healthier natural foods? I got the full bar because, honestly, i wanted something packaged that i could just take with me anywhere. the problem was, i still ate the same size meals. Bought the fullbars based on the doctor 95% per cent will lose weight. Ate the bars and was still hungry. Called the fullbars and they said to give it time. Unannounced was sent another box and it sits here at home. The claim of 95% by a doctor is an ethical issue.

Fullbars are meant to be eaten 1/2 BEFORE YOUR 2 BIGGEST MEALS of the day, and not as a snack inbetween meals, as I see some people have posted. I have a lot of trouble losing weight, and if you eat a Fullbar before a meal WITH 8oz. of water, you will be full, eat a smaller meal, and won't feel the urge to snack on foods that aren't good for you. My cravings for high fat/caloric foods went down by the second day. Just make sure you take vitamins to compensate for the lower food intake. I've lost 5 pounds in 3 days, and although that will slow down, so far I am pleased.
FranG Says:

I believed that this bar would fill me up and it didn't, as others have stated. Additionally, the fullbar testimonials had several diabetics stating that their sugar did not rise. However, I did not find that to be true. The amount of sugar and carbs raised my sugar, although I followed with a high protein/low carb meal. The doctor has a good idea, but the sugar and carbs need to be lowered.

Well, that was a mistake because at bedtime I was hungry and wanting a snack. ok this is the deal i use full bar in the afternoon when i am really hungry but too early for dinner. My kids use it after school. I like it. If you eat a full bar and drink a large glass of water I swear you will be satisfied. I use it as a snack. 160 calories is a lot less than other stuff and it is lower in sugar and fat than most snacks. Now i do not use it like the directions tell you but if you eat it instead of a starbucks iced drink and candy bars or potato chips you will dramatically reduce your calorie intake. Its just funny to me how they are able to take this snack bar and make it out to be a weight loss product, when it doesn't have any appetite suppressants. I tried the Fullbar and they taste OK (altho they certainly get boring after a while) but they do NOT CURB YOUR APPETITE MORE THAN ANY OTHER FOOD!! I recently read somewhere that a tablespoon of peanut butter can really curb your appetite at dinner time. I have been trying that and not only does it taste much better but its working.

I am eating 5 to 6 small meals a day and eat the full bar with lunch and dinner. Tiffany Says:
January 15th, 2009 at 8:35 am
I think for what it is, the FullBar probably does pretty well--but all of you need to understand that by using this as a "weight loss tool", you're essentially training your stomach to think it NEEDS more to fill it up. That's kinda the point of the lapband and other procedures--it takes less to fill your stomach, and therefore you eat less. I realize that surgery's not for all of us (I personally would try EVERYTHING else first), but think of it this way--if you start a diet, and are hungry most of the time, BUT YOU STICK IT OUT, your stomach actually shrinks. Then you need less to fill it anyway. I know this takes an enormous amount of willpower, I'm doing it too, but if you can just put down the cookies (or whatever) and wait it out, the hungry feeling DOES go away, and you're healthier because of it. If you decide to fill all the nooks and crannies with the FullBar, sure, you're full now--but when you decide you're done with it, or you run out of money, or you're tired of how it tastes... it still takes all that extra mass to fill your hungry tummy, and you're more likely to fill it with junk. Really, people, it's called WILLPOWER!
audrey Says:
January 15th, 2009 at 12:22 pm
You make an interesting point, Tiffany, and that might explain why Fullbar didn;t work for me. I was using the Fullbar to stop me from eating as much at dinner time and it may have helped some, but I do think i got "hooked" on that pre-dinner snack, and started to feel like i needed it, like i stretched out my stomach or something. After a while, i got sooooo tired of the fullbars, and i started substituting other types of snack bars & stuff. But then i went thru a very stressful time in my personal life, and i must admit i started subsituting not-so-reasonable snacks before dinner. And i gained weight. But when i think about it now, that "void" of pre-dinner hunger was something i basically created with the fullbars. And because they don't have anything to suppress your hunger, they basically expand your stomach like a sponge and increase your hunger. I would use these with great cuation and discipline.

I've lost 10 lbs in 5 weeks, 2" off hips, 1" off waist, 1" off thighs, 4% body fat. 40 more lbs. to go! I'm working out hard and avoiding bad carbs, so Fullbar is just PART of my plan - I don't depend on it to do everything. I follow the instructions about having it 30 min. before meals with lots of water. For folks having it as a snack between meals, it ends up digesting before your next meal and never has the chance to do its job - it's supposed to be sitting in your stomach, making you full while you eat a regular meal. I love these bars! Chewy, filling, not too sweet. (Luna and SlimFast are so sweet they encourage my sweet tooth, whereas Fullbars seem kind of neutral.) I've placed 2 orders and received them fast, along with emails letting me know when they shipped.

Just bought several fullbar boxes for around $200 based on tv info/hope. Need to lose 100 lbs and afraid of surgery although I qualify. Have tried it for a day and a half and I found this being my full day and taking it exactly as instructed, my mind stayed active thinking about food and it didn't cause me to eat less for the big meals. I called them and they said you couldn't have white foods like bread, potatoes etc. So for those of you using it as a snack with milk I wonder if you are defeating the purpose. which is to eat 30 min. before big meals with a full glass of water so that when you eat the meal thereafter, the top 1/2 of the stomach gets full and registers that to the brain. In theory that is how it is supposed to work. Don't know what to eat for allowable snacks for the 6 meals a day. Plus, the bars just made me want to eat more carbs. Jury still out.
angelica Says:

i agree with you Lona, Fullbar made me want more carbs too. i never heard this business bout the "top half of the stomach" but all i can say is that i didn't eat any less with my meals because of these bars, they don't have an appetite suppressant, they are pretty much just carbs which as we know, just leads a person to want more carbs. And i think its very strange that Fullbar has all of these foods you are *not supposed to eat* but they only divulge that if you call them? sounds like that's their built-in excuse for wehn you call to say this doesn't work! puh-lease.

i don't think Fullbar is a 'scam' or anything, but i think its just a snack bar, nothing more. They spin it like it is an appetite suppressant but it DOES NOT HAVE ANY APPETITE SUPPRESSANTS IN IT! That really did surprise me. Its just like a zone bar or a luna bar. except i am not a big fan of the taste.

I have eaten many bars over my lifetime and decided to try one of these since they were on sale at my local GNC. I have to say that this fullbar was one of the most disgusting bars I have tasted. I purchased the carmel apple crisp flavor and it was horrible. Not only did it not fill me up (I was hungry again soon after), but it tasted like stale puffed wheat cereal held together by an unknown sticky substance. The fullbar has 13 grams of sugar and a measly 5 grams of protein. There are way better choices out there. Will never purchase again.

This Full Bar thing rocks! I've been eating a normal breakfast with fruit, then have my Full Bar around 11 am. I can't eat a thing until around 2 pm, and even then, just barely touching a bite. I've not even had to eat one before dinner . . . I'M STILL FULL UNTIL I GO TO BED AT NIGHT!!!! I may have to try a 1/2 a bar during the day bec. I have to really fight to get enough food down to maintain proper nutrition. By the way, I've lost 15 lbs. in the past 3 weeks, but I have another 35 to 40 lbs. to lose, so, I'm not a tiny girl with a tiny appetite . . . normally. GNC is much cheaper AND has 20% off the first week of every month with their store program.

Fullbar tastes pretty good, (altho after a few weeks I felt like i had done it to death lol) but i didn't notice that this made me eat any less at meal times. It temporarily filled me up but that feeliing went away rather quickly for me. i wish they could put an appetite suppressant in these or something, bcs now i have come to expect these between-meal snacks that i never really needed before. so i feel like over all this has given me a new "bad habit" & its not cutting my intake at meals., i try to stop myself anyway, but i wish there was something to sort of make it easier. i think that was what fullbar was *supposed* to do. oh well.,

I bought four Fullbars at GNC for $2.50 each. My husband liked them and they curbed his appetite; I didn't care for the taste and I was still hungry.
Low carb diets are the only thing that works for me. But for my husband, I bought a box of Fiber One bars (oats & apple streusel flavor) at WalMart for $2.58 a box (51 cents a bar). Comparison to fullbar: Calories 130 (Fiber One) vs. 170 (Fullbar). Fat and carbs almost equal. Fiber 9 grams (Fiber One) vs. 5 grams (Fullbar). Protein 2 grams (Fiber One) vs. 6 grams (Fullbar).
Summary: Fullbar has more calories, less fiber, and more protein than Fiber One.
Recommendation: For one-fifth the price, try a Fiber One Bar with 4 oz skim milk instead of a Fullbar. You'll get more fiber, the same protein, and oh yeah, FIBER ONE BARS ACTUALLY TASTE DELICIOUS.

Ugh I am so sick of all bars like this, the only ones I can stomach are the clif & luna bars these days, and even those don't really keep me full. Fullbar is barely any better than those awful power bars i used to eat before track meets in high school. and sit like a rock in my stomach just as bad. I'm on to the Hoodia Bites now, it seems to have no effect onmy stomach only the cravigns, thus far.

I was thinking of trying full bar because I have fatty liver and my liver specialist mentioned surgery but I am scared to have and not to have surgery. but after reading the nutritional label on these bars the first ingredient is Brown Rice Syrup and reading the comments on this website, I have decided to look somewhere else. It is very important to look at ingredient labels on all products even ones that say low fat because most low fat products have more sugar in them than the regular product. Sugar is just as bad as fat. I also do not believe in taking pills because they can be as dangerous as being obese. I am going to research hoodia and talk to my family doctor about it. I suggest everyone start to reading nutritional labels while grocery shopping and you will see what I mean about low fat foods having sugar in them. Good luck to everyone in their path to weight loss, it is not an easy road. These bars probably work for some people but if you are trying to be conscious of sugar content especially people who are pre diabetic or diabetic, I would not use them.

Well, I'm new to Fullbar... I was in the mall the other day smelling all the pizza, chinese, cookies, and pretzels and was about to have a break down! I was so hungary I was about to go over and eat 3 Sbarro slices of pizza!!! I saw a GNC and went in and told the lady... "I'm starving and I need a snack or something now and I don't want anything that's going to make me hungry again in an hour!" "Fullbar." she said. She took me to them and got me a bottle of water. I ate the cranberry almond and thought it was really good! I not only was satisfied for that time (around 530pm) I was full for the rest of the night! And I weigh in at 220 lbs so I'm not a "small stomach" person. I definately will keep using them!

But as far as not being tempted, i think u proably need something stronger like Hoodia, i've heard stories about people not even WANTING food after taking that.

You people need to stop and think here for a moment. Obviously none of you have ever had call-center experience. The product works great. Some call-centers out there may be sheisty and try to rip you off, but common sense should be a good defense against them. and obviously this wont magically make you lose weight, but instead of reaching for powdered doughnuts or chips during work, fullbar is at least a healhy alternative.
Wake up and realize this product is simply appetite control, and if you have any intelligence and do a little research this WILL work.

I am rather concerned after reading the comments regarding the sugar, since I am a type 2 diabetic who has to take insulin before meals. If the bars make my sugar go up, I will not be able to use them even if they help me lose weight in the long run. I have been on the FullBar for about a week now. I found the product at Wal-Mart for 7.32, much cheaper than on the website. Before FullBar I was attempting to eat a high fiber, 1900 calories diet. I found that I was always hungry and could not keep from getting the shakes between meals. I increased my water intake to help feel more full, but I would get constant heart burn.
Since FullBar I have been able to stay within the 1900 calorie limit without getting the shakes and my craveings have been greatly reduced.
True this product does not contain any chemicals or concentrated compounds to burn fat. I just needed something to help me feel full without taking chemicals. The product works just as the website claims, I have lost 1.5 pounds within the first week.
Reading the previous blogs, I get the impression that most of the people on this blog are compulsive overeaters. This product is not for you. This product is for those who know when to stop eating, but need an alternative to high cal, carb, and fat foods. It will make a normal person feel full, but if you have an eating disorder then no diet pill, or supplement will help you.

I've not tried these, but reading other reviews, it sounds as though people are not using them properly. Remember, they are to be eaten 30 minutes before a MEAL and with a glass of water, not as a snack throughout your day. I do agree, the concept makes sense and would probably work with any healthy filling food and water. I wanted to mention though that hey can be bought at Lakeside, $16.95 for 12 bars which seems to be a better price than I've found them other places.

My shorts are sliding down as my waist is smaller. I've noticed belly is not as extended. I recommend the cocoa chip. Peanut butter wasn't as good for me but is acceptable. I also read his book that came with it as I bought 3 months worth. I've been doing exercise too. It helps to follow his rules and more in the book. He explains to do exercise enough to need a shower. I have read all of the comments on Full Bar. I have been using it for a couple of weeks, and it has worked for me. I think it might be helpful if the people trying it would also go to the Full Bar website and watch the videos that the Dr. does to help explain things. The one that helped me the most was to rate your hunger before you eat the bar and then again after eating it and waiting the 30 minutes. I think it helps to stop and realize that you may be eating for the wrong reason, and not because you are hungry. That is my problem, I eat when I am not hungry. This has made me stop and recognize that I am not hungry, so I am able to eat less. Good luck to all.

THats really good advice, I think its helpful too, to stop and think and just slow down, before eating. I have, as a result of Full bar, been able to make some healthier food choices, which is good. Bcs it did help to say, ok wait, am i hungry? the answer, for me, was always yes, even after taking it. Didn't stop me from eating. But it did help me slow down and plan my meals, or healthier snacks, without just going crazy. I don't really like the fullbar though, the taste or anything and like i said, did not loose weight. They aren't meant to be used as a snack or alone...they help you feel full so you can cut the food intake at dinner back (and if your eating mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuits, and fried chicken for dinner...your not going to lose anything) you have to change the way you eat for the rest of your life, eat healthy, drink a whole bunch of water and find the time to walk for 30 minutes and they should work for you too.

I am a nutritionist at heart, and if you will realize that the ingredients is nothing more than cereal and sweetener. Puffed wheat! It makes me laugh, which I'm doing right now. You would be better off eating a small bowl of nutritious cereal and milk, before your meals. So much cheaper, healthier, and it just might work! LOL I can't believe that you have to pay nearly 200bucks on his website for 24 days worth of bars. Yep, eating cereal and milk and then a glass of water before two of your biggest meals will probably do you more good in health and appetite. Think about it my fellow dieters. It really makes sense. Don't fill his pocket book and then be disappointed.

So you eat a Fullbar at 170 calories before your meal. You feel a little less hungry so you don't eat as much food. BUT, because you didn't eat a complete meal, you begin to feel hungry again, sooner than later. The only way to be serious about losing weight and maintaining a healthy life is to simply make small changes in your eating habits over time. One change leads to another. You don't need to lose a lot of weight fast. If you are used to grabbing a candy bar from the machine after lunch, try eating just half of it, or stashing lower calorie snack bars. Be creative with your changes. You can make these changes in all areas of your diet and it won't cost you any additional money. After 18 months of changes, I weigh 150 pounds, down from 200! Once I relaxed and stopped the "diet" mentality, the weight started coming off. I didn't count calories or buy special foods. And I rarely felt deprived, because life's too short to live on carrots!!

After reading all of the comments, i see a pattern. The people it has worked for are the people that are saying, yes, it has helped me change my eating habits and whatnot. But those who are disagreeing are only saying, nope it didn't work. For one, for any type of diet you need to give it time to work. Nothing is a miracle and is going to make you drop three pounds a day. For two, you need to follow the directions, and yes it probably helps to read about it because no matter what you do you have to excersize so for those who are sitting on your couch all day, no wonder it doesn't work. Also, not every diet works for everyone. One diet may work better for someone then for another, it just all depends on you. And for the nutritionist "at heart".. A doctor made this bar.. just because it has cereal and sweetener in it doesn't mean that is all that is in it. It most likely has something that hmm..suppresses your appetite. He probably isn't a doctor "at heart".. he is probably the real thing. So what I am getting at is I think this would work as long as you follow the rules. Eat sensible drink a glass of water with it and wait thirty minutes. AND EXCERSIZE. That goes along for any diet.

I've been using the full bar a little over 2 wks. I really enjoy them. I purchased the Cranberry Almond kind..very good and chewy. I paid $20 for a box of them plus s&h which wasn't much. You can pick them up now at Walgreens (I think). Even though they are not meant as a meal replacement I tend to use them that way. But I drink over a 100 oz of water a day so just one is fine. I typically have an activia yogurt in am and then a fullbar for lunch and a dinner of fish and steamed veggies..maybe a baked potato. Just because they don't work for you doesn't mean they won't work for someone else. They are a much healthier alternative than eating a bag of chips, guzzling a soda or eating a candy bar. I've lost 20 lbs in the past few weeks. Not only due to the fullbar but I've added at least 30 minutes of exercise into my day. It's about creating a new lifestyle and if the fullbar helps you jumpstart that then more power to ya!

I read all the negatives about the fullbar and I have to agree with the people who wrote, your not using it right!!!!!
Not everybody has the same tastes, so you should try a box of assorted flavors and decide which ones you like and then only buy them. There are many places you can get them cheaper.
You can get an assorted box of 12 at carolwrightgifts for $19.99, s/h $3.95. Thats $1.66 a bar.
I found if you have a big appetite and lots of weight to lose, you must eat the whole bar and the whole glass of water, and wait the 30 min before sitting down to eat your regular meal. The person who wrote you can just eat cereal and milk before you eat and its less calories. The fullbars are 150 to 180 calories. Special K is 120 cal and with milk 160 calories. Thats for just 3/4 of a cup of cereal and 1/2 cup of skim milk. That doesn't even fill an average cereal bowl, and who likes skim milk? If you use 1 or 2% milk you've added more calories. the real deal is cereal does not fill your stomach up like the fullbar does. The fullbar expands in your stomach, making it hard to eat a full meal. It's full of fiber and the sugar is from honey and agave which is good for you rather than the 11gms of actual sugar in cereals. Also if we could really change the way we eat we wouldn't be fat. I'm 57 and have been dieting most of my life. I have tried everything out there, including Hoodia and acai, which are big rip offs. They don't have enough of the actual ingredients to do anything. You can't buy the dose of hoodia that actually takes your appetite away, like its used in Africa and the outback. Acai is actually for well being and not for weight loss. It is marketed that way now because a few people lost weight when taking it in the liquid form. It was never meant for weight loss. I know lots of people who have lost large amts of weight using the fullbar. I personally started out at 250# and am down to 214# after just 3 weeks. Thats 36#. I have never been able to do this with any other weight loss program. The thing I love about it, is I don't have to diet!!
I eat what ever I want. There are no restrictions. No one who is fat ever changes the way they eat for life. I have been thin in my life before after I lost 50#, but eventually I went back to eating the things that I loved. So it doesn't work. And to the person who wrote that if you had 100# or more to lose to get gastric bypass surg. Thats terrible. If anyone can avoid surg they should. These people also gain their weight back. They have to go through extensive counsiling and are taught to change their eating habits, but eventualy they gain it back. There is no magic out there, but the fullbar when used properly really helps. Too bad for the people who really didn't give it a chance. I assume they are still fat and not losing weight safely!!!!

so far i'm not really sure about the fullbar. i am taking as directed , i eat a fullbar and drink a glass of water and wait to eat. and that's fine, i seem to eat about only 3/4 of my meals. problem is, i keep thinking about the last portion and end up reheating it an hour later. and no, i'm not about to throw away my food, thats just wasteful. so i eihter gotta start MAKING less and see if that helps, or try another way. i mean, 11 days and no weight loss. it's getting tiresome but, i will give it longer.

These have lots of sugar; not good for weight loss. Some have HFC! And if you consume 2 bars, that's almost 400 calories alone. It's better to eat an apple before a meal (lots of fiber and all natural) - Fullbar

I have just taken about an hour to read all of the post and in conclusion will give this system a try. I am overweight and understand more diets than most. It seems that if followed as directed this should work. I have also purchased about a month worth of supplies and will report back to this site in one month with the results and will let all of you decide. I really think this is an alternative to surgery. See you in one month- my code name will be TrueSister777. Hey Doc S if you are reading thism I am ready to try your product

I've only just begun taking Fullbar...it's only my second day but I think it will work for me. I feel comfortable enough by mealtime where I don't feel ravenous to the point where I overeat. Because I am aware of what this product is supposed to do, I am more conscious of WHEN i begin to feel full. It doesn't taste all that great, but I will stick with it for a while. I do feel some stomach discomfort though.

Actually, sugar is not good for a diet at all. Neither is artificial sweeteners to tell you the truth. Special K is a full cup serving, and has less calories, apples are all natural and a good source of fiber for a lot cheaper. Comes down to if you need to lose weight, you HAVE to exercise, drink a lot of water and change what you eat. Legumes, like, pinto beans, black beans, butter beans, kidney beans, basically beans that are not green. They will fill you up. So eat good low fat proteins, load up on veggies, cut down on fat, and skip the full bar, you will lose the weight.:) A LOT cheaper and healthier. Nothing happens overnight. And realistically...are you really going to buy these bars forever???

I like the chocolate chip bars, kind of like a carob rice cake only better, and it actually did keep me full. Note: I am a world-class skeptic about "diet" anything. But I'm going to use these... since I like to eat "sweets" anyway, and these are a great snack before lunch (I'm always hungry before lunch) when at work AND they actually did help me eat less lunch. I don't have a lot of weight to lose, but as a lifelong dieter, ANY TOOL like this is one I'll add to my kit. RECOMMEND but I'd buy in bulk at Costco to save $$ and I'd avoid the bars with high fructose corn syrup. (The chocolate bars don't use this.)

For those of you who arent having success with fullbar what I am reading is that you arent following directions. THey are not meant to be eaten as a snack. They are meant to be eaten a half hour before a meal to expand and take up room. on average they have 140 to 150 calories and from someone who has a ravenous appetite normally it does work to suppress the appetite and keep you fuller longer. Try the cheesy bites. They are phenomenal. You can buy fullbar at walmart in their fitness section fyi.

Saw these at Costco and almost picked them up but wanted to look online first. It does seem like lots of you have success with Fullbar but I actually like the advice to eat an apple or more beans (legumes) seems to be a wiser chioce, cheaper too. I think thats my main problem I eat foods that don't, fill me up. If it doesn't work then maybe i will stil give these a shot.

I'm always starving at dinner time and eat everything fast and easy. I found that if I eat the full bar 30 min before with 16 oz water bottle I don't eat as much. It's been working for me.

I lost 57 pounds using these bars. You have to use them like they were intended to be used. They are not snack bars. The taste is not bad. I can put up with the taste for the way I look anytime!

It seems to me that everyone is making "fullbar" responsible for thier weight loss when in fact it is up to each person themselves. Full bar is used to help fill you up before a meal so that you wont overeat. Its up to you not to overeat. The person who stated they wont throw away thier leftovers (1/4 of their remaining meal) cause its wasteful; really it goes into the trash one way or another just throw it away. That would be step one to weight loss. Step two would be admit that you are the one who is putting more food into your mouth and not put the blame on full bar for having the complete power of keeping you from overeating. We are fat for a reason, lack of self control. If you were to get surgery you would have to go through so much so that you would have the right tools to not overeat again and therefore not streching out your stomach once again, even this isn't foolproff. Full bar is a tool not a miracle.

oh i couldn't agree with you more melinda, this full bar, is a tool not a miracle. don't i know it. took me awhile to get used to eating less but i finally made some adjustments. still wasn't losing much, at elast i'd started to eat better. also got a fat burner, slim 10, to help me out. started having more energy for exercise and even fewer cravings, since adding this. am finally down 13 lbs and it feels good to be losing this extra weight. I take this with my full bars and its working for me.

Bought the carnaberry almond Full Bar and I have to say. If you like stale puffed wheat rolled in dirt, then you'll probably like them. I managed to get one bar down and it wasn't worth it at all. Does anyone taste test this stuff before they sell it. Yuck!
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:03 pm The Chocolate Chip FullBar satisfied my craving for sweets, but I didn't find it to be effective for weight loss at all. What happened was, I would eat this in-between meals, but still eat the same amount of food at every meal. I did manage to stay away from the Milky Way bars, but...no weight lost.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:04 pm I thought Fullbar would really help me get thru meals without overeating, but I found that it had a very temporary effect. I felt slightly full for a bit, but I still was hungry enough to overeat at dinner. Plus i didn't enjoy the taste of this, and for me that makes a big difference. It just didn't seem powerful enough.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:05 pm Fullbar is just a snack like any other snack. It;s not bad or anything, but there's no magic weight loss power to it. After eating them for a week or so, i got bored of them. This is definitely not good enough to stop me from overeating
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:07 pm The concept of these FullBars makes sense, its too bad it never filled me up. I bought 3 boxes of these, spent almost $150 in a vain attempt to loose weight. I liked that they are all natural, etc, it just was not enough sustenance for me. In the end it was pretty pointless, would love to find a method that works.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:09 pm At first I thought Fullbar was helping, but then one day i ran out of them and i had a regular granola bar instead with the 8 oz glass of water that they recommend. That worked just as well. I realized that the water probably did more than the Fullbar did. It's kind of clever of them to tell you to drink water with it, it makes the product seem more effective. I'm just gonna drink a bunch of water instead.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:10 pm I think the Fullbar must cause your sugar to spike. I would, as someone said, feel sated for an hour or so and then I would become ravenous. I would end up eating my lunch too soon and then a snack at lunch and then a coffee and cake in the afternoon. I think I ended up consuming an extra 400-600 calories.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:10 pm Does the Fullbar have any kind of appetite suppressant in it? Just wondering thx. Sue
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:11 pm Well, I have been eating the FullBars for just a few days, I like how they taste (bought Cranberry Almond, seemed healthiest) I'm wondering if I should've ordered more than one box though, I just realized that this one will only last 2 weeks. I kinda assumed I was getting a full month supply, for $50. I'm not sure if they're worth that much.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:13 pm Yes, i think it's important to remember that these things are no calorie free...they;re like 170 calories a piece. so you can't just go eating them with abandon and think you're gonna lose weight! Personaly they did not work for me. I'm going to look for something with Hoodia instead.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:14 pm Good point, they tell you to drink water to help you feel full.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:16 pm I have decided to take the wisdom to heart but subtract the product from the experiment.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:17 pm The Peanut Butter Crunch Bars taste very BLAND, the water was useful to wash it down but I could never just snack on these regularly. Maybe FullBar wold be better if they made them more flavorful.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:18 pm The tagline should be "maintain weight with fullbar" I did not gain but nor did I lose. that would be fine once I reached my goal of losing 20 pounds by August 8th. sooo...now what?
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:21 pm Not worth 20 bucks I don't think. It's just common sense basically. The caramel apple fullbar is an okay snack but I don't really see how it's worth the time and all. Plus, now I'm turned off to the whole enterprise. I am committed to losing a size or two but trying to find another method or product I prefer better.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:21 pm Hey I think they're alright, I lost 4 lbs this month with FullBar. It is sorta an eexpensive diet method but I'll take anything that works right now, I can't let myself gain any more weight.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:21 pm Someone had asked about whether there is an appetite suppressant in fullbar...well i looked at the ingredients and didn't see ANY. so i think basically this is interchangeable with any old energy bar or snack bar out there. There are a lot of those these days, so i feel like i can pick & choose.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:23 pm for the same 170 calories as the cocoa chip Fullbar I can indulge in my favorite cookies. I drink a ton of water before a meal and maybe have a handful of almonds. same affect and much more satisfying.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:27 pm Here's how i look at Fullbar, they're a fairly healthy snack (altho I really prefer a "100 calorie pack" of something that actually tastes good) but they are NOT a weight loss product! They don't have an appeitte suppresant or a metabolism booster or anything else that would justify the label of "diet product." They're a snack. End of story. They're not even my favorite snack.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:28 pm FullBar is full of things I don't need. I would rather take a walk to get my metabolism going before I eat rather than consume more and be obsessed with the calories. I take my mind off dieting that way which helps me stay on track.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:29 pm Did not lose any weihgt with FullBar, ate them for 3 months.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:30 pm Yeah, actually i get 100 calorie packs of either Pringles (when i'm in a salty mood) or Chips Ahoy (sweet, obviously). They taste good and give me the same "snack" fullness as a Fullbar but only 100 calories. I'm on here looking for a good weight loss product that will actually INCREASE MY METABOLISM. Can anybody give me advice on that???I would really appreciate it.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:31 pm Why it didn't occur to me that these were not some miracle weight loss bar and just another granola/energy/candy bar I don't know. Now I am stuck with 6 boxes and no one in my house likes them - not even my 10 year old who would eat old socks if I let him. Anyone want some FullBars at a very deep discount? :)
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:33 pm well i am usually ravenous while preparing dinner so eating one of the fullbars has been a useful way for me to calm down and enjoy the preparation more, rather than getting all irritable bcs i am so hungry. i only eat them once a day, they last longer this way, don't know if i;m losing weight but it does help some.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:33 pm Eating small meals is good for your metabolism I have read. That's why some diets prescribe 6 small meals a day. That just doesn't really work with my lifestyle and neither did the Full Bar products. I always would forget to eat them and they would wind up melted in the bottom of my purse. I'm trying to do fresh fruit now that more is in season. we shall see.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:35 pm FRESH FRUIT IS A ZILLION TIMES BETTER THAN FULLBARS OR ANY OF THE OTHER JUNK YOU PEOPLE ARE MENTIONING!!! ITS SWEET ITS NATURAL AND ITS FILLING!! FULLBARS ARE JUST CARB PACIFIERS. THEY DONT WORK.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:35 pm I bring the FullBar flavour Peanut Butter Crunch for after soccer practice and all the kids love them. I think they taste quite like chemicals but they don't seem all that unhealthy so I don't mind letting them have them.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:37 pm I take a full bar with me to the Gym and I think it gives me energy to stay on the elliptcal longer.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:38 pm For several weeks I have been enjoying my Caramel Apple Crisp bars, they taste so good. However I didn't realize until just this morning that they actually have high fructose corn syrup in them. That's not good, I wish I would've looked at the label more carefully before purchasing. I was deceived by the 0 fat grams..
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:38 pm Thank you for sharing all your experiences on FullBar I am adding a link for the review on sensational.com/diet. This fullbar stuff really does not sound very good, glad I did my homework first. LJ
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:41 pm I have been testing out different methods, using the FullBar technique.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:41 pm these are much better than power bars, for my taste, those things taste like rubber and make me feel bloated and disgusting. atleast the fullbars have some crunch, when i need a quick snack.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:42 pm HEY I am also looking for something with Hoodia in it...I'd prefer something yummy to just a pill, but I will take a pill if need be. i want something that actually decreases appetite. thanx - if you can help me with this i will be indebted to you forever!
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:45 pm smug! I know that when I eat less I lose weight. You think I don't know this?! I tried the Full Bar way for a week and I feel fatter. I am not even getting on the damn scale because I know I will be even more angry than I am already. I have a party tomorrow that I wanted to be thin for. When will I learn that I need to be more sensible and exercise more and not just hope for a fad to work? Maybe when I'm 41.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:45 pm cocoa chip fullbars are a good dessert for me. i was trying to use them the way they said to, eating before meals, but i prefer to eat my sweets after the meal. i feel like this is a bit healthier of an indulgence than cookies or ice cream so i suppose i;m keeping my calories down this way.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:46 pm EMPTY PROMISES AND EMPTY CALORIES: FULLBAR IS NOT A WEIGHT LOSS TOOL!
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:48 pm I use gum and coffee to keep from overeating, It isn't the healthiest but it mostly works. I tried the Full Bar things a while ago and it just made me feel...full. and bloated. I hate that. I should try and diet more responsibly but this is all I know how to do.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:48 pm I didn't much care for Fullbars, but i suppose i believed they had an appetite suppressant in them, so i should continue eating them. After reading what you are all saying here today, i don't feel bound to these anymore! I suppose i can have any healthy snack i want! THANKS! i love this site.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:50 pm this is not a diet i can say i enjoy but the one thing i can say about fullbars is that i am eating my meals more regularly. i have really been trying to stick to the method so i schedule my meals in order to eat one of thes bars 30 min ahead of time. this has prevented me from grabbing the chips or crackers the minute i walk in the door, or from skipping lunch altogether, like i sometimes do. no weight lost yet but i am feeling more in control of my hunger i guess.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:52 pm I have a significant amount of weight to lose and obviously I love to eat.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:52 pm Its way easier to grab a full bar than to chop up some veggies or make my own trail mix who has time for that?
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:55 pm I was wondering if the bubbles in sparking water might help to make you feel even fuller??
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:56 pm I bought the Full Bar box with every intention of using them as it says on the website and on the packaging. Instead I ended up snacking on them while watching TV. I went through a box in a week and I totally gained weight. I don't know what to do now.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:56 pm so i just eat the fullbars instead of brekfast and lunch. i don't feel really fool but i dont wanna eat too much food & ths way i stil get soemthing in my stomuch withough overdueing it too mcuh. i lost 3 lds after a mont & wil contune this for awhiel.
May 23rd, 2008 at 2:59 pm UGH, the Peanut Butter Crunch FullBar was the WORST THING I ever tasted,a re you kidding me??? I LOVE peanut butter antying but this tasted like cardboard. I cant finish the box.
May 23rd, 2008 at 3:01 pm Eat more fiber and take soup with your for lunch.
May 23rd, 2008 at 3:01 pm Fullbar isn't bad, but it hasn't really helped me to loose any weight. I am a bit disappointed in the lack of weight loss results. SHould i be watching what i eat as well?
May 23rd, 2008 at 3:03 pm So after I had my son last year I found it very difficult to adjust to eating "normal" sized portions, even though I was no longer growing a child inside of me. I would just automatically fix my meals as if I was still pregnant, and this was not helping my weight. i have been eating FullBArs for several weeks and I am eating less. But maybe my body is just finally adjusting, I can't really tell.
May 23rd, 2008 at 3:04 pm I like to take a Full Bar and break it into three pieces.
May 23rd, 2008 at 3:05 pm Sorry but this fullbar is too weak. I want something that actualy boost my metabolism!!! Plus it tastes like sh*t.
May 23rd, 2008 at 3:06 pm FullBar really is no different than a granola bar, just advertised as a diet product. And that allows them to charge like 4x as much for a box. At least. I tried these for a few weeks, just out of curiosity, but I'm gonna stick my luna bars. I like them much better, more variety in flavors and they actually fill me up.
May 23rd, 2008 at 3:10 pm I tend to double up on the diet products when I really want to lose weight like for an important upcoming event or something.
May 23rd, 2008 at 3:10 pm Not a good product at all.
May 23rd, 2008 at 3:12 pm I am not sure how this Fullbar company gets away with marketing this as a weight loss product....i guess because it's not bad for you. But for me, that puts it in the category with all of the other "light" or "lowfat" items out there. There is PLENTY of that to choose from, so I'm not gonna pay extra for this!!
May 23rd, 2008 at 3:13 pm Really I cannot believe i wasted so much money on these gross bars. I ate FullBars for months!! AND only lost about 3 lbs total, which is not impressive at all. I really expected more from these, I guess maybe I do need an appetite suppressant of some sort, maybe I'll try thoese Hoodia Bites mentioned above, if they work better.
May 23rd, 2008 at 3:14 pm JUST EAT AN APPLE, PEOPLE!!! THEY COST LIKE $2 A POUND!!!
May 23rd, 2008 at 3:17 pm Why don't doctors just stick to medicine, like they were trained. I mean here's this guy, writing books and making diet bars, and nobody is really benefiting besides him. I bet he's making a huge profit. Well, here's one customer he's lost. I was faithfully buying the FullBars for months, I liked them and they seemed healthy. BUT, my weight has not changed in the least. Thank GOD I didnt gain, like some of you, but I thought I would atleast drop a few pounds. Nope. No better than a granola bar.
May 23rd, 2008 at 3:26 pm YEah, you have to wonder who this "Dr Snyder" is and what he is all about...if he is such a great doctor then why does he have to peddle glorified cookies? seems a bit pathetic.
May 27th, 2008 at 2:28 pm I have used it for 3 months now and have lost between 1-2 pounds per week. To me it's a hunger management tool; I am careful about making sure I am eating the right types of food and only eat until I am full. For me, they do what they claim; just have to use them how they say to; they are certainly not a meal replacement; but they don't claim to be.
May 27th, 2008 at 4:30 pm I feel like such a fool. I should have read more about these before I bought them. They are really no different from other sugary bars I already have. Still searching...
June 6th, 2008 at 9:00 pm I haven't tried them. I couldn't get past the phone call trying to get my 30 days free that they advertise on TV and you just pay for shipping!! It's a scam!!! They don't give it to you for free. They try to get you to place an order and when you don't order more, they cancel the free order!!! You end up with "0". I guess that's good though after reading this blog.
June 9th, 2008 at 1:04 pm *fullbar* I was scammed. I called for the "free month for the price of s/h". After they had my CC #, the comp said they were also sending me 3 month supply for $174. There was no where that I could cancel it. I kept saying no and pushing buttons, but it did not work. I called customer service this morning and they said they have not downloaded the weekend orders from the comp yet to call back. I honestly feel scammed.
June 10th, 2008 at 11:54 am *fullbar* I AM LOOKING FOR A PHONE NUMBER TO CAMCEL MY ORDER, I ALSO FEEL SCAMMED I WANTED TO TRY THE BARS AND I CALLED AND THE GIRL TOLD ME TO GET THE SECOND ORDER I WOULD HAVE TO CALL LOW AND BEHOLD THE TOOK MONEY RIGHT OUT OF MY ACCOUNT!! I AM SENDING BACK THE BARS AND CANCELING MY CREDIT CARD!! I FEEL LIKE A FOOL!!
June 15th, 2008 at 1:01 pm It is a scam. I called to try Full Bars for the cost of shipping only (as they advertised) and their automated call system has signed me up for far more than I committed to. I kept stating "No" that I was not interested in their other offers and yet I know they charged me for more than shipping. It is a scam and I suggest anyone who has been taken advantage of contact their state's Atty General right away. I know I will do so. This is wrong and Dr. Snyder (or whatever his name is) should be held accountable!
June 17th, 2008 at 4:06 pm The TV ad offering a free month except for S&H is a SCAM! After the automated response collects ALL your info - including 3 #code on the back of your credit card - it says they will "ADD" a special 2 months to your order for just $174. I cancelled my credit card and will report them for fraud.
June 19th, 2008 at 10:19 pm if full bar is so great why doesn't it's creator use it. It sure looks like he could use it!!!!!
June 20th, 2008 at 2:16 pm Biggest scam on the face of the earth!
June 25th, 2008 at 5:45 pm Well i was wondering if this bar really works? and were do u buy it at
June 27th, 2008 at 1:38 pm hello iam 41 and 340lbs i cannot afford the bar but would like to have it so please help someone
June 30th, 2008 at 9:59 pm These people rip you off. I order the free sample and was told I would only have to pay $7.95 shipping. I received a full two month supply and they charged my credit card $219. I agreed to ship it back, and they would not agree to pay for return shipping. I ended up spending $17 to return something I did not order. I'm glad I didn't keep it based upon reading this blog since the product does not work.
July 2nd, 2008 at 9:02 pm what are all the ingredients in the fullbar?????????????????
July 6th, 2008 at 1:50 am i think all u got to do is watch what u eat and what time u eat!!!! stay away from from breads and sugers!!! fullbar didnt work for me!!! but since ive started watching my foods i went from 230 to 175 in 6 months with no exercise!!
July 9th, 2008 at 2:03 am I was sceptical at first, but thought I would give it a try. All I can say is that it did not even attempt to make me feel full and the bars taste like wet cardboard!
July 10th, 2008 at 7:27 am Well as I should have expected I once again got took. Good luck.
July 21st, 2008 at 6:10 pm I did the same as all I called an ordered an I to gave out my information. I'm going to call Dr. Snyder's office in Denver Colorado and see if this doctor does exsist. I'm not comfortable not being able to reach a real person and I can never get through to that customer service number they give you.
July 28th, 2008 at 8:36 pm DR. SNYDER JULY 28,2008 I ORDERED 6 BOXES AT OVER $200.00. I HAVE LOST 25 LBS. SOME BEFORE THE BARS. I JOINED CURVES IN FLORIDA JULY14,08, I GAVE ONE TO THE INSTRUCTOR FOR TASTING AND THE BAR WAS TAKEN TO A CURVES MEETING, WHICH I WAS TOLD EVERYONE LIKED THEM, TODAY MY INSTRUCTER ASKED FOR ANOTHER BAR, (MAYBE CURVES IS GOING TO BUY THEM FROM YOU AND THEN TO US) MY BE I COULD GET SOME FREE BOXES FOR THIS, SINCE IM PUSHING YOUR BARS.
July 29th, 2008 at 8:54 pm These bars did not make me feel full at all, and they tasted absolutely disgusting. I think you'd have to be out of your mind to try to push Full Bar on any dieter. There's got to be a better way to feel hungry & eat less & loose this weight.
July 29th, 2008 at 9:44 pm Dr. Snyder looks like he works out enough not to have to eat the full bar. I agree that he is getting rich off of these snacks.
August 4th, 2008 at 10:48 pm hi my name is roxanne belyk, i live in battleford saskatchewan canada. my mom is over her weight, she try to lose weight and nothing work. i got my daughter to type it out and i would like to try fullbar. thanks roxanne
August 7th, 2008 at 3:05 am I need good snacks for kids to keep them on track of healthy eating. Both boys have a weight issue, which they are working on, but always complain of feeling hungry. We have emptied the cupboards. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
August 7th, 2008 at 6:48 pm Well Full Bar was not a good choice for me, for weight loss.
August 8th, 2008 at 8:18 pm Full Bar worked great for me. Simply made me eat less and I lost 20 over the past 3 months!
August 8th, 2008 at 8:37 pm Didn't help me eat less, I think I ate more calories in the day, actually. Tried Full Bar for 2 months and the weight never budged. Not good tasting either, these bars.
August 8th, 2008 at 9:22 pm i`m overweight but i don`t eat much what i need is some way to increase my metabolism...if anyone knows how to do thta i would certaianly would appreciate hearing sbout it thsnk you
August 11th, 2008 at 4:42 pm I cannot believe what I'm reading.
August 11th, 2008 at 4:57 pm The reasons people are asking about an appetite suppressant, Monika, is that we want to know HOW FULLBAR CAN CALL ITSELF A WEIGHT LOSS TOOL! you can eat a banana before your biggest meal with a glass of water. Does that make a banana a weight loss tool? NO - its just a banana. PEople are asking about special ingredients becasue they want to know how this company justifies selling it as anything other than a SNACK! I would love it if YOU Can educate US as to how this is any thing more than a healthy, filling snack????? thanks!
August 13th, 2008 at 8:03 am I have been on the FULLBAR 2 weeks now.
August 13th, 2008 at 5:45 pm Wanna know the worst thing about the FullBar for me? I ate like 3 of them in one day, and they seemed to just SIT in my stomach, and I didn't go to the bathroom for 3 days, and now I need a cleanse...who's got a good one, 'cause this stuff is rock solid, it seems like.
August 22nd, 2008 at 1:02 pm Fullbar is a full-blown SCAM, IMO! Nothing but PUFFED WHEAT AND SUGARS OF ALL KINDS-SYRUP INCLUDED! WHAT A SCAM! SHAME ON YOU, "DR"!
August 22nd, 2008 at 9:29 pm Probably the worst diet I ever tried! Much better.
August 30th, 2008 at 6:11 pm Is there anything out there that works. After reading everyone's blog comments, I'm undecided whether to try the fullbars now.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:48 am Fullbar did nothing to help me loose my weight. They basically are just like any snack bar, and you CANT expect that they are going to help you control your appetite. I have been reading about Hoodia bites, I am going to get those because they ahve Hoodia.
September 4th, 2008 at 5:36 pm I ate fruits and veggies and nothing for a week and lost 2 pounds a day. No formula except eat small portions and you can eat when ever you are hungry. No deprivation or starving. I am going to try adding 1 lite yogurt and 1 nutra grain bar each day and excercise each day too.
September 5th, 2008 at 10:36 am Fullbar sucks, it has no effect on weight loss, it tastes like crap, and its full of syrups and carbs.
September 13th, 2008 at 4:07 pm I have been using these for a couple months; they work great for me. If these other diets are working so well for you all; IE: psyllium husks, apples, hoodia, etc. then why are you searching for another way to loose weight? I think I had gained some weight because I ate too much; not because I ate something with carbs.
September 15th, 2008 at 10:52 am You know, HEather, its possible that some people (like me) just looked up Fullbar as a nutritious snack bar, not as a weight loss tool. It doesn't seem to me like this is for weight loss at all. And really, in going over the ingredients, i don't think it cuts it as a snack bar. Syrups and Carbs? um, no thanks
October 3rd, 2008 at 6:09 pm I was going to buy soome, glad i came to this site first, save myself a bunch of money, diets don't work .
October 4th, 2008 at 11:33 am I was going to buy some, but always it to good to be true.
October 13th, 2008 at 3:12 pm These bars do work! These bars are better then taking diet pills and getting sick! I known so many people that had taken diet pills and you want to know something they got sick there heartbeat was racing and they fainted! you people who take diet pills to lose weight are stupid that's the wrong way to lose weight! It's not a very good thing to skip meals! At least these FULLBARS does HELP CRAVE UR APPETITE and eat less to lose! You also have to exercise that helps a lot too! All the people that gave fullbar the thumbs up I'm with you all the way because like I said these bars do work!
October 13th, 2008 at 6:42 pm Thank goodness I came here and read the comments. These bars are to expensive to be a snack and by the majority of people not liking it as a weight loss tool I feel like I saved my money. Has anyone tried OROVO DETOX? I might try it.
October 14th, 2008 at 11:30 am They didn't work for me, not because they didn't fill me up, but because I just didn't enjoy eating them. I was looking for a way to just eat something healthy in order to stay away from the junk & FullBar sounded good enough. Not the case, I've since found many other bars that have more vitamins & fill me up for longer too.
October 14th, 2008 at 12:50 pm Fullbar didn't work for weight loss, and Kay, Orovo wasn't any good either. I've tried just about everything! The CLeanse Patch foot patches work great for detoxing overnight, and minimal weight loss. I still haven't found my favorite weight loss supplement but i;m not giving up.
October 29th, 2008 at 10:57 am The full bar is, at best, a ineffective weight loss program. At worst, it is an absolute scam and rip off. Do not send this idiot any of your hard earned money. They contain horrible low cost ingredients that are not good for you. Many claim to end up eating these as a desert as they are FULL of sugars.
October 30th, 2008 at 3:03 am As a nurse that has assisted numerous bariatric surgeons (including Dr.
October 30th, 2008 at 2:30 pm Cannot speak for everyone about following the directions for using FullBar, but I did use it as directed and was not able to lose weight. IT caused some stomach pains at time, not every time I ate it but often. And I found myself eating smaller meals but still wanting more later on. So it was not very satiating. Hope it works for some, but didn't do it for me.
November 1st, 2008 at 5:51 pm Wow. Why keep this product out there. I am glad I read blogs, BEFORE I wasted my money. Thank You. Also, watching television, told to come to FullBar site for a free months supply, just pay s&h. Where is this offer? Could not find it anywhere. Altho I found these very helpful blogs. Blee all who were honest enough to respond their unhappinees with this product.
November 5th, 2008 at 12:31 pm Deceptive advertising at its best. Tried the bars and it did not stop me from eating. Actually ate the same. Did not lose weight. They sent another batch. The 95% sucess rate on the ad is fraud.
November 6th, 2008 at 1:17 pm Can't say I enjoy eating them, but they do fill me up enough so that I eat less, although it also makes me feel bloated. Is that common? I guess thats a good way to lose weight. I've been eating the Full Bar for 2 weeks, not enough time to really see results, but I am eating fewer calories.
November 6th, 2008 at 1:20 pm No way, I cannot stomach these FullBars. I'll take Hoodia over this any day, I use HoodiaP57 pretty much the same way, but I don't feel any of the gas or cramping that I got with the Full bar. This one? No good.
November 6th, 2008 at 5:59 pm I can't believe the naivete of those who seem to think you can eat a non diet meal and lose weight by eating a "bar!!" It's not supposed to be a snack or meal replacement.
November 8th, 2008 at 1:05 pm I am glad that I had a chance to read all of your comments regarding the Fullbar.
November 9th, 2008 at 10:34 am thank you, thank you, thank you all for your comments, I saw the commerical on TV and was thinking of ordering fullbar, glad I read the blog first, as I will not waste my time or money.
November 10th, 2008 at 2:06 pm Well, Steph, i see your point in a way, but in the long run, taste does matter to me. And if i am gonna pay a whole lotta money just for a "filler" with no appetite suppressant, I may as well get one that doesn't taste like cardboard! I;ve since found another yummy snack that comes in chocolate flavor and helps control my appetite....I think those Hoodia candies or Cliff bars sound alot better and are def. cheapter..
November 12th, 2008 at 3:23 pm I love FullBar!
November 12th, 2008 at 8:28 pm Maybe you have to have a fairly small stomach to begin with (and not much weight to lose) for these to be effective: when I ate one, I was so bloated and full I didn't feel like eating dinner at all! It's definitely more filling than a regular granola bar, IMO. Adding some sugar-free strawberry jam as a topping really improved the flavor. It's totally something I'll buy again.
November 13th, 2008 at 11:40 am yes, i agree with Jessie!
November 13th, 2008 at 11:42 am Oh, Ok....well, but what if you're not some tiny creature with an itty-bitty stomach ? What if you weigh 248 lbs and probably have a stomach bigger than most women's purses? I don't get full easily, which is exactly why i am looking into a product like this. The fact that Fullbar doesn't have an apeptite suppressant worries me, as does the fact that it seems to be best for people with small stomachs. Also, the fact that people seem to feel the need to dress these bars up with all kids of toppings just to make them edible...well, it makes me think i should just get any old snack bar at the grocery store and it would be just as good!
November 13th, 2008 at 2:03 pm yeah fullbar is for people who don't really need an appetite suppressant! SO if you get full easily then why bother with something like this? I'm going to look for something with Hoodia in it instead, because I am fat and i eat a lot.
November 16th, 2008 at 5:08 pm HOW MUCH IS THE FULLBAR? BECAUSE I WANT TO KNOW I WANT TO LOSS WEIGHT. I JUST HEARD IT IN A COMMERCIAL. I WEIGH 267.2, AND I WANT TO WEIGHT AT LEASE 130 LBS. I'M FROM SAN ANTONIO,TEXAS. I EAT TOO MUCH, I HAVE DIABETES, ASTHMA, HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, COP.I'M 4 FEET AND 8 INCHES. I TRY ALL THE WEIGHT AND NOTHING WORKS. PLEASE E-MAIL ME TO SEE HOW MUCH IT IS. THA'S IF I CAN AFFORT IT.I CAN'T EXERCISE, I TRY TO AT THE MALL BUT I GET SHORT OF BREATH AND I HAVE TO STOP. MY DOCTOR WANTS ME TO LOSS WEIGTH.
November 29th, 2008 at 4:19 pm These work great and are doing what they're suppose to. Every time I eat one with a glass of water, I can barely eat much of my next meal. My portion sizes for breakfast, lunch and dinner have been greatly reduced. I've lost 5 pounds in a month. Target will be selling them soon for $1.67 a bar. Check out Target's website.
November 30th, 2008 at 2:25 pm Saw the ad for Fullbar for first tlme last week and, as with all other weight loss products, I was figured it was just another "yeah, sure" deal.
November 30th, 2008 at 6:33 pm Ok, guys...after reading all the reviews on Fullbar, how about we all do a little experiment?
December 1st, 2008 at 1:13 pm Great idea Jane, let us know how that goes! I thought the basic idea of Full Bar would work for me but its effects were very very moderate. And I agree with Becky about pills, I just don't like to take them. These Slim Shot diet drinks work really great though www.slimshotdiet.com/liquids. I still watch what I eat and exercise but I am losing weight at 2-3x the rate so they definitely help!
December 2nd, 2008 at 12:36 pm I don't know maybe there is something wrong with me but fullbar is not making me feel full at all.
December 4th, 2008 at 10:20 pm *Fullbar* does not work !!!! just eat small that'all.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:08 am I was really disappointed in Fullbar...for some reason, i thought it had some sort of appetite suppressants in it, something that would help me eat less at dinner. But really, it was just like eating a candy bar, it makes you about as full as a candy bar makes you. And for the same calories I coudld've had a reese's cup or something i actually like.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:10 am I just decided to stop doing the full bar diet situation/disaster. At first I was like, cool, I am eating something gross, which I deserve because I let myself go and am currently a total fatass, but after a few days I couldn't take it anymore. i realized I wasn't eating less after I added the bars to my daily diet so I was gaining weight and the whole experience left me wanting to take some natural, gentle herbs and just eat smaller portions of healthy food which I do eat like 40 % of the time. I just have to change my bad habits. I cannot imagine anyone like or having positive results with this product.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:11 am At my lunchtime meals it works okay, I have been eating the cranberry almond full bar around 11:30, with 16 oz of water (twice as much as recomended and I eat a smaller lunch. but I often get hungry again around 3:30 or 4pm. And my dinner meals are the same size. If anyone has any tricks for making this work, I'd love to hear it. thx.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:13 am Sandra I too feel the same way,I really thought that eating the fullBar was gonna make me full and the reason I thought that is because that's the way they advertise them. I was never full with the bar and the worse part is that I ordered a lot and don't know what to do with them now.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:13 am THE ONLY THING ABOUT FULLBAR THAT MAKES YOU FULL IS THE FACT THAT IT IS FOOD!!!! ITS NOT MAGIC, PEOPLE, EATING=FULLNESS! ANYTHING YOU EAT IS GOING TO MAKE YOU MORE FULL THAN AN EMPTY STOMACH (EXCEPT RICE CAKES LOL). THIS IS JUST A JOKE, JUST A CLEVER WAY OF MARKETING ANOTHER SNACK BAR.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:14 am Me I could peanut butter on just about anything. Thought I'd save myself the calories & fat by eating the peanut butter fullBar but, its not so satisfying as eating banana with some peanut butter spread on it. Tastes like old, stale cereal. No thanks.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:14 am The Full Bars are kind of tasty, I gotta give 'em that, but they're just like eating a granola bar in my book, they don't do anything for my appetite, and they sure don't make me full, and that's why I bought them, so it's been kind of an expensive way for me to snack, and sure no weight loss.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:16 am Hmm I don't really get this. Why not eat a bar with MORE protein and skip the meals altogether? FullBar seems like its in dangerous territory for just adding more calories to my diet. Think I'll pass.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:17 am The Full Bar was so not helpful for me. I thought somehow I could eat one of those and wouldn't want to eat for the rest of the day. I am pretty smart for the most part but every once in a while one of these fad diets catches my interest - usually on days when I am feeling desperate and not very confident. I should have known better; I should have read this blog first.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:18 am I started taking the full bars to work to have for lunch? But by the time I'd get home I'd be so hungry and then I'd have a drink, my job is very stressful, and that would be all she wrote, nachos, nuts, whatever I could lay my hands on, history, like feeding a garbage can is what it's like, I feel like this endless mouth, like Feed Me Seymour! and so I need an appetite suppressant, not some jokey bar.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:18 am These bars just stimulated my appetite, did anyone else find that happening? I would eat a Fullbar (caramel apple crisp is the only one i cared for) and then I could barely wait til the next meal. I actually gained 2 lbs the month I was eating these! Thumb DOWN.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:19 am Well I don;t believe in skipping meal. I think it is important to have 3 balanced meals a day. The full bar unfortunately do not help eat better portions during meals. I ate them with way more than 8oz of water before my meals but somehow it's as if it opened my appetite. This sucked.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:20 am Hey everybody! If you like the concept of Fullbar, you should try my new ""miracle diet" product! It's called APPETITE SUPPRESSING CHEESE FRIES! You just eat this extra-large serving of cheese fries before dinner, and you will find that you won't be able to eat as much for dinner! Its great! all you have to do is eat a whole bunch of calories before dinner, and it will spoil your apeptite, who knew????
December 11th, 2008 at 11:21 am Oh c'mon eating a Cocoa Chip Full Bar is still better than a candy bar, there s a lot less fat & calories. I think these are pretty tasty andmakes me more aware of my portion sizes. They are NOT MEAL REPLACEMENT bars just designed tomake you eat LESS. You still need to CHOOSE WHEN TO STOP EATING, and if you do that, they work!
December 11th, 2008 at 11:24 am People have mentioned Hoodia & i think that might be a better option for me than Fullbar. There's no calories in that, right?
December 11th, 2008 at 11:24 am I think the cocoa chip is good as a dessert, isn't that a bad joke? But the Full Bars don't do anything to make me eat less, I've got all these boxes of them, and so they're not bad if you crumble them up and put them on ice cream, and a little squirt of whipped cream isn't a bad idea, quite tasty. And that's about all that I can think of to do with them, as a weight loss aid, obviously a dead loss.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:26 am What more can I say about Full Bar? Gross product, zero results and I am feeling not at all motivated to diet in any kind of healthy way. Or even in a non healthy way. It is all too frustrating. I never have any luck.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:27 am I think Fullbars are ok, they taste fine are aren't bad, but its important to remember that there's nothing special in them that will make you lose weight. So you still lhave to be careful about how many you eat.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:27 am It is true that when I cook a big meal my appetite is way smaller by the time we seat at the table for dinner, simply because I tend to taste everything. I got the fullbar thinking it was the same principle with less calories but it is not the case, the bars a sweets and sort of open the appetite. I still have a bunch that I use from time to time for snacks just because I don't want to waste but it has not helped me at all loose any weigth:(
December 11th, 2008 at 11:29 am Full Bars for me are a nutritious supplement that are a good snack, but that's all. They've got some nice ingredients, but if you think you're going to lose weight with these babies, think again. I have one at the 3 o'clock slump time, and they kinda sorta get me to dinner, but that's all I use them for, they're really not good for dieting.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:29 am Well, i was tired of spending all that money on Fullbars, so now before dinner I just have some some broccoli and cauliflower in fat free ranch dip....and a big glass of water, and it works just as well. Although I wouldn't' mind trying Hoodia for an extra edge.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:30 am The Fresh Berry Bliss bar is my favorite. and the only one I avoid is hte lemon lime one. THats nasty tasting. I enjoy my Full bar with a glass of milk once or twice a day as a good snack. no more chips, this is all I need for hte afternoon. Maybe not how its designed but it works for me this way, I stil avoid the junk.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:32 am HOW MUCH FIBER IS IN THE FULLBAR?
December 11th, 2008 at 11:33 am I am here to give a thumbs down to the so called diet product known as Full Bar.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:34 am That's a really great idea Shelly, I liked the idea of full Bar because its easy to take on the go and chopping veggies takes too much prep time, but, I think its probably a healthier option. I;m gonna try to do that first and if it doesn't wrk, maybe I;ll look into Fullbar.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:35 am ugh do not go for the Cranberry Almond Fullbar it tastes NASTY!!!
December 11th, 2008 at 11:38 am some people have mentioned feeling bloated from eating the Full bars and I wonder how common of a reaction this is? I am not sure if I want to go this route or try some sort of meal replacement shake, like maybe Medifast? not sure i want the crampy bloatedness though.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:39 am I guess i didn't know the difference between a regular lowfat snack bar and an appetite supressant. I thought that Fullbar would make you eat less because it had some special ingredient in there that would curb your appetite. But it seems that this has nothing of the kind. Pretty disappointing.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:40 am I had heard great thing about FullBar, I guess I was not reading the at right place. Next time I'll check what consumers think first. Me, same story, ate the bars and appetite remain more or less the same. I never lost weight.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:42 am The full bars were not helpful to me. Maybe they are to others, but based on these posts it doesn't seem like it. I would just like a regular, real appetite suppressant like caffeine or hoodia, but gentle, but that works. I am just frustrated and venting my frustrations. Thanks.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:42 am There really doesn't seem to be much protein or fiber in these Full bars. 4 or 5 grams? Really I think I'd be better off with a Luna bar or maybe those Atkins bars, they probably have more protein. I cannot imagine feeling ful after just one of these bars. Very glad I looked into it, it doesn't soound so promising any more.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:43 am I thought the Peanut Butter Crunch bars weren't too bad, but as a way to lose weight, none of the Full Bars seem to be any good, I mean, i could at least eat the peanut butter ones, the rest were not good at all, and I don't know how these stay on the market because they must only go to one time buyers, but I guess there a lot of us big girls in the U.S. that are willing to try anything, but once you've had a couple of full bars, you're sure not going to go back for more.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:43 am I think the reason we all thought that the fullBar were gonna suppress our appetite is because that Pseudo Dr who invented them said so. When you complain to the company they said that everyone is different so it may not worked for me as well as for somebody else! Guess what that is BS because all I am reading here is people who feel the same way as I did while eating the bars, they do not work!
December 11th, 2008 at 11:45 am Not sure what all the negativity is for...if you eat the Full bar as directed, it makes your stomach expand and you eat less. its pretty simple and its working for me, been eating them every day for a week now and i am always full before the last bite is gone off my plate, at meals.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:45 am South Beach LIving also makes some nice snacks, I like the peanut butter wafers coated in dark chocolate. Anyway, you can just pick whatever and it's going to be as good as fullbar, you may as well pick based on taste. sometimes when i want to feel full i eat an apple before dinner..they have a lot of fiber and studies have shown that people who eat apples before meals consume fewer calories.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:46 am Does anyone know if I can send back the 2 boxes I have left and get my money back?
December 11th, 2008 at 11:46 am Full bars contain fiber?
December 11th, 2008 at 11:47 am When else can you eat chocolate while dieting, huh? I think hte concept of Full bar is simpley brilliant & i look forward to my pre-neal snacks.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:48 am I tried eating a Full Bar for Breakfast, I really hate to eat first thing in the morning, I don't even like to have toast, but then by 10 I'd be so hungry if anyone was ordering donuts, I'dhave a couple of them, you know when that hot light goes on at Krispy Kreme, who can resist that? It's like you're eating sugar in air, YUM, anyway, tahe Full Bar was sure no help in getting past even the morning, so I'm looking for something seriuos now.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:50 am Did anyone try the new aqua full drinks with the full bar? I wonder if they are antyhing like the slim shot diet Drinks mentioned above.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:53 am Those aqua full packs are too sweet and chalky tasting, and didn't do any better job of filling me up than the FUllbar did on its own. Should've been skeptical by the very fact that they created an additional product...maybe they had lots of complaints or something. Don't bother with it though.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:54 am Can you get your money back from Full Bar? I don't know if you can turn food products back for refunds, does anybody know?
December 11th, 2008 at 11:55 am I think I may have gained a few pounds with Fullbar...I kept rationalizing to myself that they were a diet food, and so I allowed myself to eat more of them than i should've.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:55 am I really like the taste of the Cocoa Chip FullBar, unfortunately I didn't loose and appetite and as a result lost no weight. They make for a good snack but that's all in my opinion. Oh well, I'll try something someone mentioned earlier, the drinks thing. Thanks.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:55 am the flavors is not so bad i don;t think, for full bars but i wonder, didn't anyone lose weight with this? i have been eating for 2 weeks and nothing yet, but hoping t see that if i stuck it out i would get results?
December 11th, 2008 at 11:57 am I didn't lose weight when I was eating the full bars and so typical I thought it was just me because I have no willpower and was born to be fat and alone. At least reading this is consolation and affirmation that it is the product and perhaps I should try to diet again with something more proven effective.
December 11th, 2008 at 11:58 am No to the Full Bar idea, it did not work for me, nuts and grains are not going to get me full if I drink a gallon of water with it, I think maybe a nice soup or something natural like a hoodia capsule before meals is the trick, not these silly bars...
December 11th, 2008 at 11:59 am Well, I think Fullbars are fine, they taste okay, but I think for my weight, I need something that's going to actually get things going a little bit faster. I have nearly 60 lbs i need to lose, and the reality is, its going to take more than a snack bar to do that.
December 11th, 2008 at 12:00 pm In theory, FullBar could work i think.
December 11th, 2008 at 12:03 pm Full Bars are not even as good as Luna Bars, that's what I think, they don't taste as good, and they sure don't make me full. I need a real appetite suppressant, not a way to trick my body with some fiber that swells...I can eat my way right around that!
December 11th, 2008 at 12:06 pm I am giving a thumbs down for full bar, because I hate their taste and did not make me full, it was sorta like being forced to eat a BAD Snickers bar....:(
December 11th, 2008 at 12:07 pm Well i think the effectiveness of Fullbars depends totally on your expectations. If you just look at it as a moderately low-fat lo cal snack, you will be fine. But if you expect it to actually make you loose weight, you are bound to be disappointed. i had unrealistic expectations and i was disappointed.
December 11th, 2008 at 12:08 pm last month i ended up getting a hoodia supplement, based on the suggestions from other people on this blog. i got the hoodia bites and, i can say that the difference was amazing. with the full bar, i felt kinda gassy and uncomfortable and ate only a little less. but with these i really am not hungry so I DO eat less. Plus, Im not getting the extra calories like i did with the full Bar. Already lost 7 lbs!
December 11th, 2008 at 12:12 pm really had HIGH hopes for this Full bar to work, it seemed so darn popular. The first day I ate it and was like, is that it? i ate my lunch and felt the same as always. dinner was no different. the next day, i packed a smaller lunch. but then guess what, i was hungry abot an hour later. this was NOT a good diet experience in any way.
December 11th, 2008 at 12:23 pm full bar...more like full of crap bar...
December 11th, 2008 at 12:30 pm Can't believe I tried the Full Bars, wish I'd checked here first, from now on, that's what I'm doing, and the full bars, there's a food drive coming up at church, do you think it would be ok if I donated them, after all, they're just granola bars...really i think.
December 11th, 2008 at 12:37 pm So much for Full Bars and me, I tried them for two weeks and gained 4 pounds! Somehow I thought they'd automatically make me eat less so I sort of stopped paying attention to what was going in my mouth, big mistake, and I'm worse off then when I started, so I suggest we all look for something else.
December 11th, 2008 at 12:48 pm Full Bars are not a diet aid, I'm not sure what they are but a bad tasting cookie. Would not recommend these for weight loss, that's for sure. Wish I did my homework before getting these things.
December 15th, 2008 at 2:26 pm I tried the FullBar for 14 days ,it worked because I followed the instructions and not my head. you have to eat the bar with 8oz water then wait 30 minutes and eat your regular meal ( you need to set the time aside to eat the regular meal) . Eating the full bar with your meal did not work , it did not curb my hunger this way . I lost 12 lbs in 14 days after I started following the instructions . I have ordered more.
December 16th, 2008 at 1:49 pm Sorry, Kathy, I followed the instructions and did not lose ANYweight, not a single pound! I ate my full meal, along with the full Bar and saw no changes. Did not care for the taste much, but thats besides the piont. I just ordred the Hoodia Bites and am hoping they do better. The reviews were better anyway.
December 29th, 2008 at 11:53 am If you want to try the fullbars without the risk of buying a lot go to ebay. They are all over there. I think I am going to buy some just to sell on ebay. People are cleaning up with them there..
December 30th, 2008 at 12:18 pm Oh, no way, do NOT buy the Full bars on Ebay unless you wanna get a fake product! I made that mistake, and what I got off ebay was NOT the same as what i got directly from the company..the bars actually tasted worse and the packageing was different too. I wouldn't trust it.
December 30th, 2008 at 12:20 pm Real or fake, I can say, these Fullbars did not make me feel full, I tried but,it just ended up being extra calories in my diet.
December 30th, 2008 at 4:51 pm This is a silly product. (40 lbs gone from eating clean and walking in less than one year!)
December 31st, 2008 at 12:51 pm What does that mean, to "eat clean?" i just want soemthing to fill me up, plain & simple, and am having my doubts about Full BAr.
December 31st, 2008 at 12:57 pm Well I don't know if I would go so far as to call the product silly, as Kellie does, however she does bring up a good point. Why waste money on Full bar when you could just fill up on healthier natural foods? I got the full bar because, honestly, i wanted something packaged that i could just take with me anywhere. the problem was, i still ate the same size meals. I think i'll do better with a calorie free appetite suppressant, still looking for the best one.
January 7th, 2009 at 1:44 pm Bought the fullbars based on the doctor 95% per cent will lose weight. Ate the bars and was still hungry. Called the fullbars and they said to give it time. Unannounced was sent another box and it sits here at home. The claim of 95% by a doctor is an ethical issue.
January 8th, 2009 at 4:06 pm Fullbars are meant to be eaten 1/2 BEFORE YOUR 2 BIGGEST MEALS of the day, and not as a snack inbetween meals, as I see some people have posted.
January 9th, 2009 at 8:19 am I believed that this bar would fill me up and it didn't, as others have stated.
January 9th, 2009 at 11:13 am I agree with "L." I have used these the last few weeks 30 min before lunch and dinner and I've eaten less! Most of all I DO NOT WANT SNACKS!! Last night I didn't eat my bar before dinner. Well, that was a mistake because at bedtime I was hungry and wanting a snack. They may not have a weightloss product in them but if you need to something to help cut your food intake and do not want to take supplements with who knows what in it, these are great!
January 9th, 2009 at 12:57 pm The Fullbars didn't decrease my appetite, in fact i think maybe they increased it bcs i didn't like the taste and my taste buds still wanted something good. theyu dont have an appetite suppressant either oh well it was worth trying i guess
January 9th, 2009 at 2:26 pm Pointless product & I feel really foolish for falling for this gimmick. I really thought that these Fullbars would make me eat less, and that was not the case. I did not eat any more while taking them, but I certainly did not cut back on calories. Did not like the taste either. I will try a hoodia product someone mentioned, some kind of chew or something? Anyway, I will look into that, thx.
January 11th, 2009 at 11:59 pm after seeing this commerical on tv, and after struggling with weight loss for the past few years, i was quite intriged by this whole FullBar idea. but, after searching for them online, i found this website, and after reading all the comments, i've come to the conclusion that basically, to me, it sounds like FullBar is more like a granola bar than a weight loss supplement. why waste 50-200 bucks on that when you can find low fat granola bars at walmart for 1.99?? i am very proud of myself for doing the research before throwing my money away!!! i'll b
January 12th, 2009 at 12:08 pm I would like to thank everyone that made comments regarding these full bars. I was just about to order them, and something told me to look them upfirst and read the comments about them. Now that I have read the information I DO NOT want to buy another weight lost produc that DO NOT work. Is there anything that will really curve your cravings that actually work? I would love to know. I do not mind spending the money for a product that will work, but who wants to spent alot of time sending products back and forth. Not ME! Thank you ALL again for warning me before I got stuck with more products that DO NOT work.
January 12th, 2009 at 6:44 pm ok this is the deal i use full bar in the afternoon when i am really hungry but too early for dinner. I love it an think it works.
January 13th, 2009 at 5:46 am I went on this Full Bar a week, just to see if I could lose some weight, I didn't in fact I gained a pound and at over 200 pounds I didn't need to gain more. The bars were beyond sweet.. It didn't satisfy anything for me. I didn't eat less either. I also feel foolish for thinking that I could lose weight while eating these bars.. BAD IDEA ALL AROUND!!
January 13th, 2009 at 1:43 pm Its just funny to me how they are able to take this snack bar and make it out to be a weight loss product, when it doesn't have any appetite suppressants.
January 14th, 2009 at 10:29 am I have been using the Fullbar for 9 days and have lost 8 wonderful pounds. I read the instruction manual and am following it. Also have not been strict at all. I am eating 5 to 6 small meals a day and eat the full bar with lunch and dinner. I have found that when i do not eat the fullbar for those two meals i am picking on food later and the meal i have is not satisfying me. I give a BIG thumbs up to Fullbar.
January 15th, 2009 at 8:35 am I think for what it is, the FullBar probably does pretty well--but all of you need to understand that by using this as a "weight loss tool", you're essentially training your stomach to think it NEEDS more to fill it up.
January 15th, 2009 at 12:22 pm You make an interesting point, Tiffany, and that might explain why Fullbar didn;t work for me.
January 16th, 2009 at 12:22 am I do not know whAT THESE PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT. tHE fULLBAR, KEEPS ME FROM SNACKING IN THE EVENING AFTER DINNER. bESIDES, i LIKE MOST OF THE FLAVORS.i AM ORDERING A BUNCH.
January 16th, 2009 at 2:57 pm Well, that was pretty much the point, Marianne. I bought the Full Bar HOPING it would prevent me from snacking but it really didn't. I mean, maybe once in awhile it would help but overall, I ended up gaining 6 lbs after eating this garbage for 3 months. Thumb down.
January 18th, 2009 at 11:36 am I'm glad this blog website exists. I've just decided not to purchase the fullbar weight loss product.
January 25th, 2009 at 5:52 am I used this bar differently than suggested. I am currently on a major OMG diet and restricting myself to liquid meal subsitutes. Once a day I am using the bar when I feel I have to eat something. Right after consuming the bar I drink 1/3 liter water and this prevents me from killing people nearby. I agree with the other comments and wonder if this Sugar Pop Bar is just capitolizing on the Ceral Diet. To all of you out there dieting... hang in there,,, you're not alone and you are a fantastic person regardless of the outside! PEACE
January 26th, 2009 at 11:45 am I'm glad I found this site. I just decided to not purchase these full bars. It sounds like a scam to me. I feel bad for all the people that got ripped off!
January 26th, 2009 at 1:40 pm WEll, one thing i would DEFINITELY avoid is the Full Bar Peanut Butter Crunch flavor since Peanut Butter is now being found to have SALMONELLA and is being pulled from shelves left and right. As for the other flavors i think they are ok, and they fill me up as much as any other snack. But they don't have any magical weight loss or app suppressing abilities. I think they might have actually got me in a bad habit of between meals snacking.
January 26th, 2009 at 6:29 pm fullbar - Huge waste of money! They taste awful and do nothing to curb your appetite. They also don't make you feel very full. Only slightly for a short time. I was expecting to feel very full like after you have Thanksgiving dinner full. I had no problem consuming my lunch and dinner as I normally would without the Fullbar. All I did was consume extra calories. Don't waste your money!!
February 2nd, 2009 at 8:59 am I've lost 10 lbs in 5 weeks, 2" off hips, 1" off waist, 1" off thighs, 4% body fat.
February 2nd, 2009 at 2:44 pm FullBar sat in my stomach like a ROCK, I felt so full & bloated from it. I only could eaat them for 3 days and then I felt so starving I wanted to eat real food & not feel so sick. I thought they would be better.
February 2nd, 2009 at 2:48 pm Full Bar does not work as good for my appetite as does Hoodia. I thought by eating something like this it would do wonders for me during mealtimes but it just did NOT fill me up. Now I take the hoodiaP57 pills before meals & that keeps my calories down. Lost 11 lbs in 5 weeks with this.
February 6th, 2009 at 2:12 am Just bought several fullbar boxes for around $200 based on tv info/hope.
February 6th, 2009 at 1:10 pm i agree with you Lona, Fullbar made me want more carbs too. i never heard this business bout the "top half of the stomach" but all i can say is that i didn't eat any less with my meals because of these bars, they don't have an appetite suppressant, they are pretty much just carbs which as we know, just leads a person to want more carbs. And i think its very strange that Fullbar has all of these foods you are *not supposed to eat* but they only divulge that if you call them? sounds like that's their built-in excuse for wehn you call to say this doesn't work! puh-lease.
February 14th, 2009 at 9:15 pm thanks alot guys i was going to purchase fullbar but i wanted to find some reviews which i found here. i dont think i am going to puchase it wasting my money. maybe i will try the hoodiaP57. i am needing to lose 70 pounds.
February 16th, 2009 at 1:55 am It probably expands like dog food does when you add water to it. Why not just eat better and walk more? I am just a thin person because I am so hyper and don't mind walking to the store from 20 parking spaces away while all of the "big" women get dropped off at the door. I eat, a lot, esp at night and sweets that a really terrible for me. I wish everyone the best on their diets! Be careful when items like fullbar make unbelievable promises that seem too good to be true!
February 16th, 2009 at 12:35 pm Dee, its none of my business of course, but if you are a naturally thin person, why are you here on a diet blog? I know you have every right to be here i was just curious is all. But good for you! sounds lilke you know what you're doing. i don't think Fullbar is a 'scam' or anything, but i think its just a snack bar, nothing more. They spin it like it is an appetite suppressant but it DOES NOT HAVE ANY APPETITE SUPPRESSANTS IN IT! That really did surprise me. Its just like a zone bar or a luna bar. except i am not a big fan of the taste.
February 19th, 2009 at 1:09 pm I have eaten many bars over my lifetime and decided to try one of these since they were on sale at my local GNC.
February 23rd, 2009 at 10:01 am This Full Bar thing rocks!
February 23rd, 2009 at 12:47 pm Fullbar tastes pretty good, (altho after a few weeks I felt like i had done it to death lol) but i didn't notice that this made me eat any less at meal times. It temporarily filled me up but that feeliing went away rather quickly for me. i wish they could put an appetite suppressant in these or something, bcs now i have come to expect these between-meal snacks that i never really needed before. so i feel like over all this has given me a new "bad habit" & its not cutting my intake at meals., i try to stop myself anyway, but i wish there was something to sort of make it easier. i think that was what fullbar was *supposed* to do. oh well.,
February 25th, 2009 at 8:19 am I bought four Fullbars at GNC for $2.50 each.
February 25th, 2009 at 3:09 pm Ugh I am so sick of all bars like this, the only ones I can stomach are the clif & luna bars these days, and even those don't really keep me full. Fullbar is barely any better than those awful power bars i used to eat before track meets in high school. and sit like a rock in my stomach just as bad. I'm on to the Hoodia Bites now, it seems to have no effect onmy stomach only the cravigns, thus far.
February 25th, 2009 at 3:49 pm These are awesome I dont know what everyone is complaining about there is no magic formula that is going to make you skinny however if you eat one of these 30 minutes before you eat, not right before and drink water with it i drink a whole 16.9 oz bottle with it, it fills you up I find myself not being able to finish my meals which is great! I have lost a little not a whole lot but I like them they are great
February 26th, 2009 at 11:44 am I think I am upset because my expectations were really high with fullbar, I really thought I was gonna be able to get thin eating those bars. It does not work that way. I learning:)
February 26th, 2009 at 9:50 pm They are great, the fullbar instructions are pretty good; I have been following them and at the beginning I thought it was a gimmic; but I am actually eating less and have lost about 10 pounds in 2 and a half weeks.
February 27th, 2009 at 12:35 pm i like fullbars too but I haven't lost any weight w/them, and i'm starting to enjoy luna bars now, too. i also am eatting strawberries between meals yummo. i just have to drink a lil more water and maybe i will try appeite suppressant pill just to stop going back for seocnds @ dinner.
March 8th, 2009 at 10:49 am I have been using the Fullbars for about 3 weeks and so far have lost 13 pounds. Since they are 170 claories each, I use them as a meal replacemnt. Compared to the cost of Lean Cuisine, etc., they are a bit cheaper and keep you full alot longer than those diet meals! So far, I have been successful.
March 9th, 2009 at 12:09 pm Oh yeah you can use fullbars as a meal replacement? Does it contains all the nutrients needed to stay healthy? I would love to do that. It would make my life so much easier if i don't have to cook. I am definately going to try and I guess if I am hungry I can just drink a lot of water.
March 9th, 2009 at 12:11 pm The full bar are delish! Unfortunately I didn;t loose any weight since I started snacking on them 2 weeks ago. I think i am going to try a real diet like the south beach diet. I just saw that it had pretty high ratings.
March 10th, 2009 at 12:21 pm They taste terrible and u cant chew them! I guess that is why u lose weight, your jaws hurt so much u cant eat. and the taste is terrible. they emasiled and said oh well not all ppl like them. beat the Dr. never ate them - fullbar
March 17th, 2009 at 12:19 pm Fullbars are nothing but stale rice cakes with disgusting flavors added. They are worth nothing. I would never recommend them to anyone.
March 19th, 2009 at 10:16 am I was thinking of trying full bar because I have fatty liver and my liver specialist mentioned surgery but I am scared to have and not to have surgery. but after reading the nutritional label on these bars the first ingredient is Brown Rice Syrup and reading the comments on this website, I have decided to look somewhere else.
March 27th, 2009 at 7:03 pm Full bar is a hoax. Definitely does not work. I didn't think I could get tricked any more.
April 1st, 2009 at 12:35 pm I've tried the Cranberry Almond and the Carmel Apple fullbars and found that they worked really well. I found that not only was I not hungry at lunch, but did not eat much for dinner. I have been drinking hot tea with the Cranberry Almond before lunch and I seem to be fuller. Have lost some weight and have a lot more to go! Will use Fullbars every step of the way!
April 6th, 2009 at 2:40 pm Well, I'm new to Fullbar...
April 8th, 2009 at 9:43 pm how can i order online?
April 18th, 2009 at 9:48 pm these are hillarious. i could read them all day. Hey the full is NOT a snack!!! you eat it before a meal!!!! not when you get hungry for something between lunch and dinner. Does not claim to boost your metabolism, just follow the directions, not that hard!!!!
April 19th, 2009 at 1:05 pm i want to know how to get them becase they look amzing so i wana try 1
April 20th, 2009 at 11:44 am Hmm, well i must say i am wondering about some of these posts where you folks report this "miraculous" disappearance of your appetite with fullbar. i treid them too, and there's really no way it would make the smells of a mall - sbarro, cinnabon, chinese, choc. chip cookies, just go away for me. i guess that's great for those of you who experience that but since ther e is NO APPETITE SUPPRESSANT in Fullbar, i don't really see how that could happen. i think it can full you up just about as well as any other bar. personally i prefer nutrigrain bars or luna bars & they do the trick just fine. But as far as not being tempted, i think u proably need something stronger like Hoodia, i've heard stories about people not even WANTING food after taking that.
April 24th, 2009 at 1:38 pm You people need to stop and think here for a moment.
April 26th, 2009 at 7:19 am I have been using Fullbars for a couple of weeks and I LOVE THEM!! They are really helping me take off that last 10 lbs that is sooo hard to get off! I thin the key is that you have to take them as directed. Maybe diet pills work faster (maybe??) but I do not want to feel nervous and have my heart pounding all day long.
April 28th, 2009 at 9:40 am Dee: I am just a thin person because I am so hyper and don't mind walking to the store from 20 parking spaces away while all of the "big" women get dropped off at the door. I eat, a lot, esp at night and sweets that a really terrible for me. IGNORANCE IS BLISS..IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A WEIGHT PROBLEM YOU SHOULDNT BE ON THIS SITE BOASTING ON HOW YOU EAT SO MUCH AND EAT SWEETS AND ARE THIN..CLEARLY THERE ISNT A NEED FOR U TO TRY FULLBAR SO THEREFORE YOUR COMMENTS SHOULD BE KEPT TO YOURSELF... CONGRATS TO ALL OF YOU LOOKING FOR A WAY TO BETTER YOUR LIFESTYLE!!! WE ALL NEED TO FIND MOTIVATION SOME WAY...BE SMART ABOUT IT AND HEALTHY OF COURSE AND MUCH SUCCESS TO ALL OF YOU!! -A-
April 28th, 2009 at 10:55 am Huh, I dunno, I just dont think these things are filling me up. Wouldn't it make more sense if the Fullbars were a snack? Because, I eat one and then smel the dinner cooking, and I fill my plate...and eat every bite. Afterwards, i sometimes feel a little bit more bloated, and really, I don't if it would get better or not, but I dont think these bars are right for me. I think I wanta try hoodia instead, I keep hearing about it, and most of those products, dont have the extra calories either.
May 4th, 2009 at 9:09 am It does work. But if you are one hundred pounds over weight you might want to consider surgery!
May 5th, 2009 at 2:56 pm I just bought 4 Fullbars at my local CVS pharmacy in GA and they were on sale 2 for $3. I haven't tried them, but I'd rather buy after trying them while this cheap. I am rather concerned after reading the comments regarding the sugar, since I am a type 2 diabetic who has to take insulin before meals. If the bars make my sugar go up, I will not be able to use them even if they help me lose weight in the long run. I do weight traning with dumbells 3 times per week and walk 1 mile every morning, and 2 miles on the evenings I don't use weights.
May 9th, 2009 at 11:34 am I just bought full bar at Walgreens. It was $1.99. I bougth the peanut butter crunch. I ate it about 30 minutes ago. Not to crazy about the taste. Still not hungry.
May 19th, 2009 at 7:40 am I have been on the FullBar for about a week now.
May 19th, 2009 at 10:58 am Possibly Im the only one on this blog that read the fullbar instructions. these ARE NOT snack bars, I dont think u should be feeding them to soccer teams as they are not designed as energy snacks. they are designed to be used before a meal to increase your sense of fullness. So far using them AS DIRECTED. I am seeing weight loss. Will keep u posted. P.S. maybe people shouldnt slam a product simply because they r to stupid to use it correctly. I know this sounds harsh but come on people read the instructions.
May 25th, 2009 at 7:23 pm I've not tried these, but reading other reviews, it sounds as though people are not using them properly.
May 29th, 2009 at 8:44 am Tried it and didn't seem to do anything but add extra calories. It did not make me full, still ate the same amount of food. I even gained a pound. Stopped eating them and just watched what I eat and have already lost a few pounds. Don't eat the FULLBAR!
June 4th, 2009 at 5:37 pm I've been on it a week and have lost 2 pounds. It works for me because I'm used to eating the same thing every day. I end up not grazing for food all day. Your mileage may very. So far, it's working for me. Cautious optimism.
June 17th, 2009 at 10:28 am I have read all of the comments on Full Bar.
June 18th, 2009 at 12:10 pm THats really good advice, I think its helpful too, to stop and think and just slow down, before eating. Am now looking for quality hoodia, and still trying to just think before eating.
June 25th, 2009 at 11:59 am well i just started full bar today, seems to work,im gonna try to just eat full bar and skip the meal once a day for a wk.drink lots of water thats were its at,it flushes fat away.ive read u can eat what u want just drink water with ur meal and another glass afterwards, now thats what i like to hear.
July 23rd, 2009 at 9:18 am I just tried the new full bites from full bar, and i have to say I LOVE IT. The directions read to eat with an 8oz glass of water 30 minutes before a meal.
July 29th, 2009 at 2:39 pm Dr.Snyder does exist. I had weight loss surgery with him and i am doing great. i was looking for info about the fullbar when i came across the discussions.
August 1st, 2009 at 6:49 pm prefer med.diet with additional sources of fiber (see august Mayo letter also use psyllium seed.
August 6th, 2009 at 12:33 pm Delicious but did not make me eat any less.
August 8th, 2009 at 10:35 am This was the "worst tasting" bar I have ever purchased! It was stale and dry!
August 11th, 2009 at 2:27 pm Losing weight always has been, is and always will be about taking in fewer calories than you burn. If something helps you do that without harming your health, then that's terrific. But nothing will substitute taking in less than you burn. Nothing. Ever.
August 13th, 2009 at 11:38 am Well, fellow dieters. I have contemplated this product since seeing the infomercial. I have to tell you that this is really a big rip off. This Dr. will make tons of money on your hopes.
August 14th, 2009 at 1:53 pm I have dieted off and on for almost 20 years (I am 38 ) after kids or that last stubborn 10 pounds ,I am not overweight ,but I am chunky lol ..But I have tried alot of diet bars ,drinks ,meds ect ,But I thought I would try these since I love to eat and I have to agree these are the worste tasting diet bars I ever ate ,diet food isnt suppossed to be yummy but these were down right gross ,Puffed rice and tasted like maple syrup and I had P.B. It didnt taste like P.B. thats for sure .I'll stick with my cheaper weight watchers bars that taste a whole lot better and give me an actual full feeling .Oh did I say I ate like a horse after eating it ..I would tell you dont waste your time or money ....
August 15th, 2009 at 9:02 am i LOVE this bar. it taste really good and i like the texture. i eat one for breakfast with 16oz water. one for lunch with 16oz water and a healthy dinner. i have lost 10lbs!
August 15th, 2009 at 11:45 am Great tasting bar, but completly useless in trying to curb your appetite. Just another example of why you need to research before buying. In my case I read the bit (on the package)about the inventor being an MD and I bought it on impulse - I guess even MD's can be charlatans. Buy it as a snack but not as a tool for appetite control.
August 15th, 2009 at 7:06 pm So you eat a Fullbar at 170 calories before your meal.
August 22nd, 2009 at 4:30 am What's different between this and just eating a salad before your meal?
August 22nd, 2009 at 8:48 pm Not impressed and very disappointed. anyone have the doctors number who invented this?
August 24th, 2009 at 1:34 pm My sister has lost 55 pounds using the full bar system. It has enabled her to permanently change her eating habits to more more nutrient rich foods. She continues to lose weight. I have started on it, and in 2 weeks have already lost 10 lbs. It's the easiest way to lose weight I've ever tried. We love it !
August 24th, 2009 at 6:59 pm I love the full bar it has helped me not to over eat! It helped me the very first bar. This is a great product. For the people who are still eatting too much, take your time eatting. Don't stuff yourself. I will tell all of my friends who need to lose a few pounds about this product. It is great!!!!!
August 29th, 2009 at 9:59 am I have been on full bar for 2 months and have lost 47 pounds. My sister and neighbor were so impressed that they got them too! I buy mine at the GNC store and they are less expensive there. So before you believe all the postings here...go to GNC and buy 2 bars and try it for one day. They sell them per bar and by the box. That way you can see if it will work for you before investing your money in them.
September 6th, 2009 at 9:26 am I tried the full bar product a few months ago and was very dissatisfied. I thought that it was going to curb my cravings for food but it didn't. I would recommend trying a snickers protein bar instead. I eat one of those for lunch and I'm satisfied until dinner. They are cheaper and very tasty!
September 7th, 2009 at 1:44 am After reading all of the comments, i see a pattern.
September 9th, 2009 at 10:54 am I've been using the full bar a little over 2 wks.
September 9th, 2009 at 12:57 pm I read all the negatives about the fullbar and I have to agree with the people who wrote, your not using it right!!!!!
September 10th, 2009 at 11:56 am so far i'm not really sure about the fullbar. i am taking as directed , i eat a fullbar and drink a glass of water and wait to eat. and that's fine, i seem to eat about only 3/4 of my meals. problem is, i keep thinking about the last portion and end up reheating it an hour later. and no, i'm not about to throw away my food, thats just wasteful. so i eihter gotta start MAKING less and see if that helps, or try another way. i mean, 11 days and no weight loss. it's getting tiresome but, i will give it longer.
September 18th, 2009 at 9:56 am These have lots of sugar; not good for weight loss. Some have HFC! And if you consume 2 bars, that's almost 400 calories alone. It's better to eat an apple before a meal (lots of fiber and all natural) - Fullbar
September 20th, 2009 at 7:41 pm I have just taken about an hour to read all of the post and in conclusion will give this system a try.
September 22nd, 2009 at 5:21 pm I am big eatercan sit down an eat 3 big macs with ease.So i tryed a full bar as directed on the package.Eat the full bar with water 30 mins before you eat.so i tryed this and then went to Mcdonalds and ordered my 3 big macs and was only able to eat half of one and i was stuffed like a turkey.Kept the other 2 big macs incase i got hungery later and was full until my next meal which was 5 hrs later. This product works if you follow the directions. Before my next meal followed the directions again to the letter and tryed to eat my normal huge meal and was only able to eat a 1/4 of it and was full to my next meal. What a great product. In one week i lost 12 lbs and was never hungry.REMEMBER KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID aka(kiss) READ AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE PACKAGE AND THIS PRODUCT WILL WORK
September 23rd, 2009 at 6:37 pm well i was going to try it but after reading the coment's,i think i change my mind.doesen't seem to work to well - fullbar
September 26th, 2009 at 12:21 am I've only just begun taking Fullbar...it's only my second day but I think it will work for me.
September 28th, 2009 at 8:59 am Actually, sugar is not good for a diet at all.
September 30th, 2009 at 12:03 am I like the chocolate chip bars, kind of like a carob rice cake only better, and it actually did keep me full.
September 30th, 2009 at 10:06 am For those of you who arent having success with fullbar what I am reading is that you arent following directions.
October 1st, 2009 at 12:09 pm Saw these at Costco and almost picked them up but wanted to look online first.
October 16th, 2009 at 7:33 pm I'm always starving at dinner time and eat everything fast and easy. I found that if I eat the full bar 30 min before with 16 oz water bottle I don't eat as much. It's been working for me.
October 17th, 2009 at 8:50 pm I lost 57 pounds using these bars. You have to use them like they were intended to be used. They are not snack bars. The taste is not bad. I can put up with the taste for the way I look anytime!
October 18th, 2009 at 7:41 am It seems to me that everyone is making "fullbar" responsible for thier weight loss when in fact it is up to each person themselves.
October 19th, 2009 at 12:29 pm oh i couldn't agree with you more melinda, this full bar, is a tool not a miracle. don't i know it. took me awhile to get used to eating less but i finally made some adjustments. still wasn't losing much, at elast i'd started to eat better. also got a fat burner, slim 10, to help me out. started having more energy for exercise and even fewer cravings, since adding this. am finally down 13 lbs and it feels good to be losing this extra weight. I take this with my full bars and its working for me.
November 16th, 2009 at 6:25 am Bought the carnaberry almond Full Bar and I have to say. If you like stale puffed wheat rolled in dirt, then you'll probably like them. I managed to get one bar down and it wasn't worth it at all. Does anyone taste test this stuff before they sell it. Yuck!
