kapi: What would one expect for $27.00? The site describes that what your getting is a download…so what does one expect…pills popping out from your screen? lol…anyway i lost 5 pounds over night…i’m on my second day and i feel lighter and confident that this is going to work. I am realistic and believe that 20 pounds might not be possible, up to 20 pounds in more realistic…but you gain a better sense of what healthier eating is about. I am a person that doesn’t eat vegtables, nor drinks alot of water and never portion my foods, but i realize that i can live without the added sodium, sugar and fatty foods and that a healthier eating lifestyle is tolerable and beneficial; one must have the desire and discipline to achieve any goal, however. What you are given is a menu to follow, easy simple directions. When you purchase pill supplements for weight lose, always comes with the recommendation for healthy eating, drink alot of water and exercise…and pay an arm and a leg, with the pain in the butt autoships. With this menu and common sense combined with exercise could produce faster results, without any drug assistance. so which would be healthier?

GIA: Wait, are u being serious, Kapi, did you literally lose 5 lbs “over night”?? That…doesn’t seem likely, or healthy, to me. I think it sounds like a okay diet plan but I am not sold..

Melanie: Well I’ll tell you what’s healthier than this completely unrealistic plan, diet and exercise! If you expect to lose 20 lbs in 10 days you are setting yourself up for disappointment. I tried the diet and was not able to drop more than 3 lbs total and it was tough to follow. I am not typically a huge fan of pills either, but I did my research and saw the numbers on Nuphedrine..the studies, the success stories, the amount of weihgt lost, etc. I ordered and well, my results are more like 10 lbs in 20 days, actually, 12 lbs in a month, but i think thats still pretty good. And I think I will be more likely to keep the weight off.

lisa: I bought this program last year and didn’t do it, but I did make a copy for my friend at work. She followed the diet and lost 15 lbs. I just started it today and I’ll say that I’m eager to try it and I figure I have 10 days to try something different…if nothing at all I’ve focused on eating better and smaller portions…keep you posted.

Alicia: I liked the sound of the Twenty Lbs in 10 Days, in practice it was another story. I only lost 4 pounds and it was very challenging. I need to try something not as extreme, I am in no rush, just want to loose 25lbs at nice pace and want to keep them off.

JessieK: I went on the twenty pounds in 10 days diet, but as soon as I quit? You guessed it, right back to square one, this is not a good or healthy way to lose weight, I don’t care who invented it.

Anna: The 20 pounds in ten days diet worked for me for about a week, and that’s all I could do, wish I could have stuck it out to the end, but I lost 8 pounds, so I feel good about that, but I just got toooooooo hungry!

Marta: I thought I was going to faint on the 20 pounds in 10 days diet, and how embarrassing would that have been? Do you think EMT’s do this diet? What if they were so weak they couldn’t pick me up? I don’t think this is a healthy way to lose weight, and that’s that.

lana swiegert: Marta, you make an excellent point…it’s very disturbing to think of rescue workers of any kind trying to sustain themselves this way. I think it might be borderline irresponsible, both to their own health and in terms of their commitment to the community. I truly could not see anyone functioning atheir full capacity while on this diet. And for fire fighters and EMTs, it is important to be able to function. I know i felt dizzy and weak during the 4 days i was able to last on this diet, and I sit at a desk all day! Perhaps i will write a letter to the maker of this diet. It seems important that someone address this.

Gloria D.: Shoot, I wanted to hear that this works without a doubt! Guess I’m always loking for the easy way, suppose I should try a more realistic approach than 20 lbs in 10 days.

jessica: Well, i did lose some weight within the 10 days (9 lbs, not 20) but it appears that this was water weight, not fat weight. The weight came right back on once i stopped the diet. I would say that Twenty Lbs in 10 days is good if you want to get rid of some water bloat fast. But other than that, it was not that impressive to me.

Amanda Kaisar: I did this diet a few weeks ago. Just the first 4 days and I lost 10 pounds. Even if 5 of it was water weight that is still great and felt like a million bucks. I have just been eating more healthy but now Im doing it again starting today, but I will do the whole 10 days this time. It is a great diet. Very easy to follow. The only thing I don’t like about it is eating the celery plain. I am also a big salt person but this diet has really stopped me from putting salt on almost everything. Totally worth the 27 dollars. Anybody who thinks it sucks is crazy and isn’t doing it right. It’s funny too cause every company that is saying bad things about this diet is promoting there own diet plan. I lost 15 pounds and this is me cheating on the weekends i plan to start it back up next week and do it for a month and see what happens :+)

Ally: well i’ve just started the diet plan, but at a glance, it looks like very well thought through plan (and I know a lot about nutrition), it uses fat-burning foods and natural laxatives, so based on a scientific approach to weightloss. I think that people who failed to lose 20 pounds in 10 days, weren’t that fat in the first place..and it is much harder to lose, the thinner you are that big a loss may only be expected by people who are really overweight..but it is still a sensible and healthy eating plan, I do not regret paying for it. I will comment with my results when I am finished. :)

judi: Well i have 55 lbs to lose and i only lost 6 lbs of WATER WEIGHT on TwentyLbsin10Days, and that 6 lbs came right back after i went off this (crash) diet. i dont think this is very good for anybody. sorry but thats my opinion.

Dee: I am really eager to post results I am a nurse and this does not seem like a bad diet. I just started the diet this morning and am eager to share my results. I am one of those people that I do what I put my mind to so I will follow it step by step even the veggies I dont normally eat. I will post results after four days and after 10 days. And this is just a question but what did some of these people eat on the 5th day when they were able to choose what they wanted.

paula: march 19, 2009 I noticed the comments are not dated so it’s not possible to follow a thread. I have also noticed that most of the negative comments were posted by people who never followed the diet, followed by people who followed the diet and lost some weight but were unhappy afterwards. Only one comment by a person who followed the diet and did not lose weight. I am very impressed by this. I usually don’t go for download plans but when I get home from work, I think I will try this diet. I’m in a weight loss contest with 12 days left and on a plateau. So, I’m only concerned with the next 12 days. I already know a slow weight plan I can follow afterwards. For my purposes losing a lot of water weight would be perfect-according to my doctor I’m retaining water. Thanks for the advice. the negative comments have convinced me to try it. I will post and let you know the results.

Jessica: When I seen this I thought It was to good to be true! Well it is. It didn’t work for me. Some of the food and drinks you have to do are awful. I stayed very hungry and it made me feel week. I submitted my complaint to Paul so we will see if I get my money back or if it is a scam like most are. I would not recommend this diet to anyone. It is pretty impossible to lose that much in such a short amount of time, not to mention it can’t be good for your body. Cassandra: 4/25/09 Today is the first day of starting this diet. I am very skeptical but at the same time am desperate to loose weight and will give this diet a try. I will post my results at the end of day 10. And I agree with previous post about some people not seeing the results because they are not excessively overweight. Weight does not come off as easily when you have less to loose. I have 60 lbs. total of weight I need to drop, so this should be perfect for me. I plan on exercising for 1 hour every day with the plan and I guess we will have to wait and see if it works!

Terr: I followed this religiously and lost a total of 4 pounds. If you are looking for a jumpstart and have plenty of will power, this may be for you, but don’t expect miracles- better to stick with the post diet principals that comes with the download and add exercise.

Simon: 30/06/09 Hi all, have just read all the comments on the plan. Iam also a fireman from England, I didnt really need to lose much weight, more excess fat than anything. I started plan on 24/06/09 and weighed myself yesterday and have lost 11pounds since then. I must say that iam also quite active and excersize atleast 3times a week, which everyone should do anyway. The best thing i can say about the plan is that it gives you a better idea of what types of food to eat. Iam a typical bloke that likes a drink and a take away, and the usaual rubbish that we all eat!! But am actually enjoying the food/meals. I even had a night out with meal and bevvies on saturday. My point is, the plan gives you the foundations of how to eat more healthily, i have substituted some foods also, for example I dont like grapefruit juice, so have orange juice, I also use carrots/sweetcorn/onions to spruce to food up a little, i even have a teaspoon of low fat mayo sometimes, poached egg instead of boiled etc, which anyone can do, just use commen sense. The plan does make you hungry, but all i have done is had a snack in between, eg Ryvita with some low fat spread and cucumber or rice cakes with the same, or half a bowl of tinned fruit in fruit juice not syrup. Both my girlfriend and I are on it, and both have noticed more toned bodies already, we will however be treating ourselves at the weekend. I would say that try avoiding alcohol during the week, and have a tipple on weekends. I know that my attitude towards eating healthily has changed for the better and would reccomend this plan to most people who are normally healthy and well. Try to enjoy the food, and make it more appealing if needed, how can eating more fruit/vegetables/fish/juice/water etc be worse than crisps/burgers/beer etc!!!! Good luck.. Simon. Sally: Should’ve known better than to fall for the quick wieght loss pitch, but sometimes, i just get overly confident and want to believe, that tis really possible. At least, the twenty lbs in days program only cost me twenty seven bucks. ANd, I did lose 2 lbs in the ten days, so thats something. IT did help me see food a little differently, but, making dietary changes like that, was not enough to get the weight off so quickly. Am now taking slim 10 diet pills, still eating healthy and eating less, and lost 7 lbs over the last two weeks. Am hoping for better results form this.

You eat what’s on the list, nothing more, nothing less. However, every 5th day is a “free” day, but I learned the hard way that “free” doesn’t mean you can go hog wild or you will undo all the progress you’ve made the previous 4 days. bmick: Well for all those who gained it right back, It doesn’t matter what diet you do if you go back to your old bad habits it will come back. I did the 20 in 10 days diet, and I am not a big person but I lost 15 lbs and have kept it off for 2 years. It does work if you follow it to a t and dont cheat.
