Megan: It is the same diet as Atkins. It is eat more and more protein. You coul do the same without the pills. If you eat only protein you lose weight, but it makes you sick. This diet is a ripoff and I would not recommend to anyone.

Dawn: Don’t waste your money on these products. Simply Weight Loss is a low carb diet. Period. The “herbs” included for 500.00 are bulky and leave an after taste. Firstlady: I used SWL maybe 6 or 7 years ago and it worked for me. From reading the instructions given, SWL is a high protein diet which also require a a workout plan. I lost 5 pounds the first 2 or 3 days. The product gave me a lot of enery, but the downside was that even after taking the pm pill, my energy level remained high so it made it difficult for me to have a good nights rest. Overall, I was very satisfied with the weightloss results even though I needed to be relax at night in order to sleep soundly. Now after reading all these negative comments, I don’t think I would chance SWL…it sounds like maybe now SWL has cut back on their mean ingredients which I had no idea what that was at that time, only that it worked for me then. Susan: I personally am surprised by the negative reviews of SWL product. I used SWL earlier this year and was very pleased with my results. The product performed as promised. I lost 20+ lbs, inches and dropped 2 dress sizes in 6 weeks by following their “high protein” diet and menu suggestions. The product gave me energy with no jitters and suppressed my appetite with NO ill effects. I also walked on my treadmill 30 minutes 5 days a week. Overall I was extremely pleased with the product and would purchase again. Although there were ALOT of pills to take 4 times a day. My issue with SWL is the cost factor. Overall it is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE if you follow the SWL staff suggestions on taking this product. The SWL website lead you to believe by purchasing your 6 week supply kit for $429.00 that it’s all you will need of the product for success. However, I found myself being “high pressured” into purchasing additional product in order to increase my success. Simply put… they preyed on my desire to lose weight. The SWL staff does follow-up with you on a weekly bases to evaluate your success and answer any questions you may have, as promised with this plan. However, I felt as if it was only for additional “sale opportunities”. Each week they would check-in, wanting me to purchase additonal “carbo blockers”, etc at additional cost. In closing, I really did see results with this product and would use again if the price was reduced.

Shorty: I have been on SWL for three months and have lost 12 lbs. So the diet and supplements seem to be effective to a point. But the truth is if you drink 64 oz of water and cut out sweets, bread, potatoes, and other processed starched, you should lose weight anyway. Granted this will also help those of us concerned about our blood sugar. So is the plan really effective? Or is it just a change in how you eat? I will tell you that they did not tell me how much I was paying until after they had my credit card. For a 5 month supply of “unknown herbals”, the cost was $1500. I am disappointed with myself that I was that desperate to lose weight to pay anything!

Lydia: I did SWL about 7-8 years ago and I lost over 40LBS. Not only did I lose the weight, but as of today I have kept my weight off. My consultant was totally awesome and did help me over and beyond her job. These negative comments are completely bogus!! If you’re saying SWL didn’t work for you, then you just didn’t do it. You probably got buyers remorse and you’re blaming SWL for that. Honestly, I don’t think any of these negative comments are even real people that did the program. SWL has been around for such a long time and that in itself should account for something. If someone makes a decision to not do this program because of what their reading on this website, I feel really sorry for you. Weight loss can be a serious issue for a lot of people and to get on here and read this crap about a weight loss company that IS true to their word just makes me sick!

Mary Ann: I do not know what all these negative reviews on Simply Weight Loss are coming from. I have been doing the program for 18 weeks now and have lost over 45 pounds. I have the slowest metabolism ever. I did LA Weight Loss, Nutrisystem– you name it. Nothing ever worked for me. I can not have a structured menu plan bc it doesnt work with my lifestyle. My sales person was super upbeat & friendly & just like talking to your best friend. I a normally a person who researches things extensively before jumping into something. I called for info & ended up with $1500 worth of products that do not work. I was talked into getting an extra kit b/c they were on sale during that time of year & “it only happens twice a year”. I followed the program very specifically & lost only a couple of pounds. And that was after taking over 40 pills a day! I’m sure it works for some people, but I feel like they falsely advertised & feel like such a fool for falling for it. Very Disappointed Cathy: This program was simply a waste of money. It did not work for me. According to the papers they send you it says they will call to check on your status on a weekly basis…I never received a phone call. The only time I received a call was to tell me that my card was not going through because of my name change. Next time I will just stick to Slim in Six. That worked for me!!!
