Tracy: This stuff seems like it will work. I have been using it for a week and I gained 2 lbs. It does seem to enhance the flavoer of the food a bit, but maybe I needs to give it more time. Anyone out there have good luck with this or is it a rip off?????

belinda: Four months I have been using Sensa, and not one pound has been lost. What I did get for my money was the skin in my mouth peeling off and a lot of canker sores. I gave it my best, but it does not work for me.

Then the weight didn’t move for 3 months but I kept using it because I noticed I wasn’t craving sweets and starches but began wanting healthier food and not as often. In fact filling my plate began to look like too much food to me. Well, I’m in my 5th month and have lost a total of 12 pounds. The instructions say to use it on every bite you put in your mouth and you will lose weight. So far, it works for me!

Did you change up your foods a little, healthier? Did you all at least walk or do some form of exercise? For something to totally work, don’t you have to really try harder? I liked the fact that I did not have to give up anything-I have tried every diet published or non-published. Ryan: I’ve been taking Sensa for 1 1/2 months and have lost 6 pounds. I haven’t been craving all of the snacks that I usually have in between meals. The downside is that I’ve been having terrible h*adaches and light h*addness. Has anybody had these side effects? So, you don’t need to spend a lot of money on this product but simply exercise and cut down on your portions. Stay away from excessive sugary and fatty foods (like donuts, fried chicken, candies, etc.), exercise 3-4 per week and drink lots of water. If a “miracle” drug really works, you should not have to adjust your lifestyle because technically it should be able to melt the pounds off without any of your own efforts. The fact is, that there is no miracle drug out there. You don’t need to spend a lot of money and fill your body with a substance that has not even clinically proven to be effective. M.S.

Joan: I am just getting seriously started with Sensa. I kept on forgetting to use and am embarassed to use it around others that I am eating with. So yesterday I really sprinkled at every meal I was full after dinner and did not eat anymore at all yesterday. That was great and really a first time. I am one of those who usually likes to snack at night while watching TV. But my stomach did bother me over night until I finally went to the bathroom this morning. Not sure if Sensa did that or not. Will keep it going and see if that repeats. It does tend to make the taste of food stronger though I will agree. I too was worried about silica in it like the other blogger mentioned being in little packets in shoes and purses that say do not eat. My son who is in medical school said that silica can also just mean sand. That does not sound good either. Not sure. He tells me not to use this and laughs at me. But I have to jump start my diet or I will never get the wait off. He tells me to reduce carbs also. Thought I should share this. Has this product been FDA approved does anymore know?

MM: I would like to thank all of you that posted. I beleive you just save us alot of money. I would lie to give a suggestion to abate the craving. There is a natural mineral called Cromium you can pick up from any vitiamin store that will take away the craving. One tablet a day does in fact work. Craving and sweet tooths are a mineral diffecency. your body get rid of what it does not use with no side effects. Ask questions, check it out, it could help you. you’ll find it alot less expensive.

Rae: It made no difference. I e-mailed them a month ago to cancel all auto. deliveries and credit my account, but yesterday, I received a box and a charge to my visa. I am not pleased.

DaveT: I have been using Sensa since 8/22 and have had great results from the beginning. I have to date lost 22 lbs. I have tried, south beach, slim for life,nutri system and just trying will power. I love to eat even when full, Sensa started for me within about 3 days. I started pushing away foods and not able to finish dinners. Brought lots of boxes home from resturants. Sensa has eliminated my cravings and has gotten me to eat healthier, I am also starting to excersise which I haven’t done for quite sometime. One of the keys to losing weight with any diet is to drink plenty of water and start moving. I don’t think there is anything that will keep droping weight without doing something. Sensa will help you to control your portion size. I think with all of the negative comments on here perhaps most people have not given it a fair chance. Everyone loses differntly and every product works differntly with everyone. Perhaps most people have not been sprinkling enough, that would make a difference also if you don’t sprinkle enough. There are two containers for one month, one for home and one for the road. I have one at work and use it on my lunch. I sprinkle on everything except liquids and drink plenty of water. I am sorry there are so many unhappy people out there that didnot give it a fair shake, it is working great for me and my wife.

Ginnie: Well, i was just looking at facts about this sensa before i tried it. I was about to order and when it asks for your credit card information, it CLEARLY says what everybody is complaining about. There will be a shipping and handling fee to start and then you will receive 2 months worth but if you are not satisfied within 30 days, you call and cancel your next shipment before it starts. But you will be billed $90 in 30 days. What they are doing is getting you to try it first, but its not free, its gonna cost you $90 for the first 2 months. And then 90 for 2 months if you want to continue. I dont understand why everybody is saying that they didnt know about all this bc I read it before I read the comments, i was getting ready to order and I seen it. Its plain to see. Second month of tastants seemed different from first month. First was consistency of salt; second month looks like powdered sugar. Working to some degree. Will use another month then make final determination. Buy from Ebay and don’t get into automatic delivery.

lochnest: It works. Sprinkle on everything you eat and eat SLOWLY and you will eat less. This will make it easier for you to lose weight.

maryann lavigne: Try reading the book by Dr. Michael Aziz The Perfect 10 Diet and get the aha moment that I have. It is about cutting out all the processed high frutose corn syrup in everything that companies make and all the bad oils in food to extend food life. Real food not all that crap that comes prepacked. Been on it for 5 months and have lost 50 pounds. Real not that crap in center aisle in supermarkets. once you honestly cut out all that white flour, sugar (hfcs) and all those fake oils they put into food to make then last on the shelf forever you will lose your craving for the junk.

It seems that most of the negative comments have been regarding the billing not about the product, which you would know all about if you read the terms and condition as you should for any transaction. I work for a credit card company and deal with idiots like you all the time screaming fraud when YOU didn’t do you part by reading the terms come on people don’t chime in with a negative for something you didn’t try and use properly or the rest of us cannot get a clear idea of the product, it seems like most who actually used it had results.

fed up: I’ve tried several diets/plans but this has to be the biggest joke I’ve ever wasted money on. I have lost 10 lbs. so far but not from this product. The only thing sensa did for me was to kick start me into watching what I ate. I noticed that although I may not eat as much at one time, I was hungrier a whole lot sooner than when I watched my portion size but would forget to use the sprikles!! I think this is more of a psycological approach to weight loss than a diet aid. It phycologically worked for me because I do not plan to EVER get ripped off this badly again and I am now determined just to use my own self control instead of a info-mercial gimmick. Save your money & just talk yourself into watching your portion sizes, limit sugar & bread intake. Keep your money!!!

I was told that it should take effect starting the second month and it is not working. What a RIP OFF! CDS: I know there is that temptation to want the magic cure to overeating. I’ve read good and bad about Sensa. It sounds too good to be true and you know what they say about that. For those who really want to try this product, can I just offer you some advise? Please don’t EVER go for ANY product that has a free trial. Be smart…nothing is free. I have read over and over again how people are charged in advance for trial offers, and getting you money back is only half the battle. The other part is getting removed from the automatic renewal. Here’s my advice. Order this product from Ebay. You can try it with no strings attached. I know there isn’t that wonderful money back guarantee and there is no “free trial” but I can tell you that it would be “worry free” at least to your wallet! Just make sure that you are buying a sealed package to be safe. If you like it, then sign up for the “free trial” and stay on it as long as you like. I tried Sensa this way. I got a 2 month supply for $62. I can’t tell yet if it works because I think it’s in my mind that I am not hungry. (That’s how badly I want it to work!) There is no sour taste…it doesn’t seem to add any taste really. If you are dying to try it, take my advise and curb your curiosity…go for it, but get it on Ebay! peggy d: personally i do not use anything that does not tell me exactly whats in it. i dont know why it wouldnt be the same to sprinkle fiber over your food to make you feel full faster and that would be good for you.

notgivingup: I have tried sensa for a week now, no weight loss, but I am noticing that I dont have the cravings for carbs or sugars that I normally do. And I did treat myself to a piece of cake this evening and couldnt finish it. I have noticed it seems to work really well if you smell what you are about to eat, and also be sure that you are putting enough on your food. Will give it the whole six months to see what happens. As far as bugs usda allows 30% in a jar of peanut butter.

Anonymous: I have gained two pounds since being on Sensa. I was already on a healthy diet, but am diabetic and this did not help me lose weight. My blood sugars are diet controlled and are almost normal. But I cannot seem to lose weight.

60 year old Grandma: I too am glad I found this website and read what everyone had to say about Sensa. I hate scams but more & more that’s what the general masses are exposed to aren’t we? I’m a 60 year old Grandma who wants to shed a few pounds, and the TV ad sounded good. But then I visited this blog (yes I’m an Internet savvy Grandma) and I’m glad I did. I will not spend my money on this product because you who have researched it’s ingredients have convinced me its not a good product. Also, just like most other TV products, the free trial has a catch. And you know what? Many of you hit the nail on the head about committment to healthy eating & exercise. I also learned here about the benefits of green tea and ac vinegar…I’ll be reading more on these. To those of you who shared the negatives of the product, thank you for keeping the rest of us out of harms way. And to those of you taking Sensa or who are determined to take Sensa despite these reviews, good luck – sounds like you’re gonna need it.

Healthy Gal: A real doubter here. But, the first week, I have lost 5+ pounds. My daughter also just wanted to get toned and it worked for her. We’re not big eaters but just want to stay in shape. This seems to really work for both of us. I believe each person finds their magic and it works for them. It may not be the product for everyone but for us the results are more than satisfactory. We are planning on supplimenting with the chews and drinks. The cost is off set by not buying snacks or treats. We’re eager to finish the 6 months and evaluate. So far so good.

The calories from the chocolate are nominal and it hits your bloodstream just in time that as you lift your dinner fork to your mouth – you realize you aren’t starving and don’t overeat.

However, I feel like most of the people with bad comments dont really sound like they have tried very hard to really see it work. You have to keep in mind that there is no miricle drug… Sensa, reguardless of it being mental or actually physical, it is designed to help you eat less… HELLO PEOPLE! Eat what you want sprinkle it on and belive enough that you know when you have had enough… sense all it claims to do is curb your appitite mentally then doesnt it make sense that mentally you would have to have faith not buy it to test its “magical effects”? Debbie: I have read a lot of the comments on this and it seems to me that this product will only work if you believe in it. A lot of times people think that they can take a diet drug and eat as much or as little as possible. The point of this product, it seems to me, is to allow you to walk away when you are no longer hungry but do people really do that? I know I don’t if I am eating something that I really enjoy. You won’t lose weight if you are just sprinkling this product on the amount that you normally eat. The real test for the product would be sprinkle it on half of what you would normally eat and see if you are still hungry. I am talking hunger not appetite. Personally I understand appetite because its like that little devil on your shoulder that tells you that you are hungry and need the cookies in the cabinet. He’s a bad little devil because he makes you eat when you really aren’t hungry. Eat to live, not live to eat. I wish I could listen to my own advise but I am trying.

Most of the time I can’t decide what to eat because nothing sounds good. I have a desire to eat more healthy foods. I have increased my daily intake of water, but continue to eat a normal diet. I feel full quicker, which means I eat less food. Every week I set a reasonable goal of how much I would like to weigh the following week. So far I have met all my goals. Starter: Just tarted the program. I think it has some effects because I have kind of gone through the first few days when I had cramps. I am not going to weight myself every week but rather every 3 months when I visit my Doctor. The key is to use all means to lose weight. Use combination of Sensa, Cutting carbs and perhaps eating weigh wather meals once or twice or a week and you WILL reach your goals! If you have a craving for a steak, GO FOR IT! You can cheat one or two meals a week in order to keep you motivated! Stay with combination of programs and you will lose the weight!

I attempted to call numerous people with no returned phone calls and when I finally did get a hold of someone they said it was the warehouses issue and they could not give me a number but only an address. I sent a certified letter, verified they received it but again no response. I kept the original receipt for 6 months and had no proof that I retuned it, and SENSA would not return any of my correspondance so I ended up paying for a product that did not work…VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Tom: Be careful when selecting your Sensa account password, they have a very poor practice of including your full email address and password in several emails that you receive from them. Within two days of setting up my Sensa account, my yahoo email account was compromised. Please express your concern to Sensa that they need to follow a better practice and not include your password within emails or clearly suggest that you select a unique password only for Sensa. I had to change my password on several websites as a result of this and returned by product unopened as a result of this experience.

Frustraded Sensa user: My review is on Sensa. I ordered the product, called after 3 weeks to inform I was not experiencing what the product was suppost to be doing. I was told to sprinkle a litte more on the food, which I did, called again a few weeks after, (twice trying to return product). Each time convinced to keep the product and continue to try it. the last phone call, I was told they would send Sensa for males, again told to sprinkle on food. Once you order it they refuse to give you the return number needed to send back. Long story short, this product stinks, all it did was increase the area around my stomache, which I have not been able to get rid of, it has been 2 months approximately that I was finally given a number to return product. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Oh by the way I do zumba 4 times a week I am now stuck with a large stomache that sticks out and larger love handles. Karen: It’s a scam. I have tried it for two months solid. I worked out twice a day, I continued with my activities, and I drank more water. I didn’t see any weight loss and they scammed me out of my money. They took the full 89.95 for the second month after the trial period after I called three weeks prior to cancel. And now they are refusing to send me the third month package. They have ran my credit card and are giving me the run around. I am going to have to close my account just so that they would leave me alone. They didn’t take my weight but they did take my money.

ccdb: If it sounds too good to be true…!!! There is no magic bullet for weight loss!! Don’t get sucked in by all the lovely claims. The only way to loose weight (and not wreck your he*lth) is to decrease calorie intake and increase calorie usage (exercise). All these companies want is your money. Dyyanna: My nephew has lost over 80 pounds using Sensa. He looks great. I just spoke with him to get more information before I purchased and his exact words were “it’s the best thing in the world”. This is from a 27 years man who has struggled with his weight now this has helped him lose weight and I have seen his confidence sore. So yes, I will give it the 6 months and see if I am as lucky!!

JOJO: I just started Sensa today, i am really apprehensive after reading all this, but I will give it a chance. I got Month 1 at Costco for $38.99. Thre is no DVD, just the starter book, two shakers, a felt-like carrying case, and the Sensa Quench drink mix (20?). If it works, I will go on ebay or back to Costco online for month two. Pat: this is one of those internet “let me grab your money and run” scams. Be careful, if you don’t want your credit card automatically charged. I assumed I had 2 months before I decided to continue but no. They will charge your card after 1 month. Now I have to wait for the next shipment which I have not received before I can return it then wait weeks for a refund. They can take your money in an hour but take weeks to give it back. About the product it did not work for me, did not loose or gain.

Anonymous: I am on day 3 of using Sensa and I have to admit that I am pushing away most of my meals and my mind isn’t screaming for snacks. However, that said my tongue has a h*rrible white c*ating and it feels kind of b*rned. I have some light head*dness (reduced calorie intake?). I bought mine at GNC for $71.50 that came with a two month supply.

Don: I haven’t tried it but the list of ingredients does not sound like it could do what it says. I’m going to suggest people try ACAI. I wont mention a product because I don’t want to be accused of shilling for another product, but I take capsules and get it from Amazon. I lost 30 lbs in 2 months along with exercise, and now am down to 9% body fat.

b white: I signed up for “free trial” and spent over $100.00 9.95 for shipping,9.95 to return product and 89.95 for automatic shipment which I DID NOT AGREE TO…I returned product exactly as instructed and 6 weeks later was billed to my credit card for 89.95 (ironically 2 days before Christmas). Sensa has an unpleasanr odor and taste-one can decrease appetite by sprinkling any distasteful condiment on your meal before eaating. Warning to anyone doing free trial and returning-watch your billing charges for several months. Wished I had found this blog sooner!!!May be time for investigation or BBB

Angie: I am not sure I want to try this, even with the bad and the good comments. Don’t be so quick to give up on the product. The company only says ‘Eat what you want and lose weight’ Because thats what people WANT to hear. So they can be lazy and eat all the fast food they want. Then when a miracle drug like Sensa comes out, they don’t do a single thing different. If you would actually put some effort to lose weight then the product might actually work for you. Shaking something on your food instead of diet/exercise will give you the worst possible chances of losing weight. There is no diet drug that everyone loses weight on, so the negative comments are expected. Besides, you wouldn’t go to every site you find looking for reviews on a diet drug if you had a positive review. Only people not satisfied with it will seek out to prevent other people from wasting there money. I’m not saying that all the reviews are from people who didn’t follow the instructions properly or just didn’t exercise, but everyone’s body is different. There might be more bad reviews then good reviews, but what your looking at isn’t the whole story. The free trial sounds a bit cheap, but I’m willing to try what might actually work.

Athlete: The reason you aren’t losing weight with Sensa is because it’s a gimmick. The only way to lose weight is eat healthy foods, get rid of the twinkies, and get off your fat buts and sweat. There is no magic pill. You all disgust me.

Margaret: Those of you that are being judgmental of people posting their opinions here, need to get off this post. Calling people names because they are having difficulties or had bad luck is hateful, insensitive, and hurtful. It is one thing to comment about a product or company, it is something else to call people names or label them as stupid or dumb,telling them to get off their lazy butts,they are disgusting,etc., because your experience has been different. If you can’t be supportive in other people’s struggles, then maybe you should keep your hateful and ignorant comments to yourself. This post is about a product and it’s customer service… not about cutting people down to make yourself feel better. I came to this post like most people to learn about this product and it’s company, not to be judged by others who have NO CLUE about my lifestyle or biology for that matter. There are plenty of other posts that like these kind of comments…go there instead, so the rest of us can figure out if this product is for them or not.

jaimee: yes i agree there’s no need for rudeness here! but i do think there are some valid points to a lot of these negative comments, some of them ARE about the company and product after all. ANWYAYs, i love the idea of Sensa but the reviews for HoodiaP57 are WAY more positive. i feel like thts gonna be more potent.

julie loyd: I LOVE sensa! just been taking about a week and i am getting so full i just cannot believe how good it is working!!!NO JOKE,for me,if i did over eat i would get such a full feeling until i was so miserable.I haven’t weighed in yet ,well when i go to the Dr. in a month i will know what i have lost.But i have cut down my food intake in half and maybe less than that! Anonymous: I found Sensa at the GNC store, no credit card, no bi-monthly charges, etc. I have used it for 2 weeks and I have lost 5 lbs. What it has done is, it eliminates the cravings to eat between meals and especially at night. You still have to use common sense. If you use Sensa as a reason to over indulge, you will fail before you begin. Decide what’s important to you, loosing weight or proving Sensa wrong. As far as Side effects, they are minimal. The head *ches are caused from dehydration, (lack of water) Sensa not only stops your craving for food but also any other intake. I have to make myself drink plenty of water. This will also eliminate mouth s*res, c*nkers, etc. If you use Sensa with the determination to loose weight, it will work. Yes, eat what you like, but be it know you have to eat less of it and rely on Sensa to take care of everything else. If you think you can eat a 12 inch pizza for dinner, ice cream at 9pm, doughnuts in the afternoon at work, them you are kidding yourself!

Cindy: So before I try… I am diabetic. Does or will that make a difference when using this. I read all the stuff on how to use, what to expect but it does not mention anything about a diabetic using the product. Would it be safe for me?

jackemanul: How often should I eat? Most people can eat 3 regular meals and 1 snack every day. The 3 meals should be about the same size and should be low in fat. Try to eat 1 to 2 cups of fruits and vegetables, 2 to 3 ounces of whole grains and 1 to 2 ounces of meat (or a meat alternative) at most meals.

jennie: sensa is another con artist tactic to tempt the desperate. the worst part is IT IS NOT!! A FREE 30 DAY TRIAL!!!!! That just means that you can use it for 30 days before they bill your credit card $89.95!!! What a joke. Used it for 2 months, didn’t lose a pound!! still had as much appetite as before!! Started weight watchers Jan !- as of Jan 18 lost 8 lbs!!!! You have to use portion control and exxercise!!!

revvic: As with anything, I had to stop wanting a “quick fix. happy with my not having cravings(which for me is the ultimate goal in losing weight) and found that even a bowl of soup with 5 cracker is too much. Makes 2 meals. I’ve used it for 3 weeks now and like noticing a difference in inches and 3 lbs lost so far. I didn’t put it on all at once, so reasonably weight won’t come off in a short period of time. My best asset is my willingness to take it a day at a time. I feel satisfied with this progression. also I do passive chair exercises with (remember this one?) my Greer Childers gym-bar. I am now losing inches as well. Thaks for the idea of going to onsite line to buy Sensa cheaper. Also, if you call the company, they will entend the 30 days to 60 days. Reach out and touch them!

Terri: All these reviews are so conflicting. I started my Sensa yesterday. I’m a stay-at-home Mrs. and started to have no energy,and eating everything in sight until I made myself s*ck. I have to say my first day experience was kinda promising. I had ENERGY..yea and I didn’t crave food. I can see where the s*res in the mouth might come in, I don’t know if this is correct but I stir my food after I sprinkle it on. Eating the Sensa straight I think it would be like eating sunflower seeds all day. Drinking plenty of water would wash away the residue of the Sensa in your mouth. Plus you SHOULD be drinking alot of water anyhow. Well ppl I will let you know in a couple of months if any pounds have been shed. Good luck to all us.
