Amber: I just read in in touch than Jen Aniston drinks Acai berry juice all the time and her body is amazing. Maybe I’ll stick with Monavie for a little while longer even though I haven’t really lost any weight yet. It’s only been three weeks…

LeAnne: A friend of mine was going on and on about MonaVie and the acai berry and how great it was for your health, for months. I never really paid too close attention, but then i started hearing more about the Acai berry and so I asked her again what it was she used. She said she could get me some MonaVie if I wanted to try it, so I said great. Well, I assumed she meant try, as in “sample” but no, she actually charged me for it! She acted like she was doing me a favor by getting me a whole big bottle and said I was actually saving money by getting it from her. It turns out, she was a distributor, so she made a profit off me! And, the juice was awful, I had to mix it with water or sweeter juices to drink it. I don’t see what the big deal about this is.

Tina: I like the juice, it’s pretty good, and I’m sure it’s healthy and all, but I had the same experience as you, Amber…no weight loss. I am starting to think that it’s gonna take more than just juice for me to lose this weight.

Brionna: The first time I drank Noni Juice, I thought there couldn’t be anything in the world that tasted worse. I stand corrected and ashamed. MonaVie may be really really good for you, but how in the world do you swallow it? It’s a combination of something really sour and dirt. Now I have a $39 bottle of juice that’s going to maybe ferment on my shelf, and I’m still not going to drink it, even if it has a kick. Ugh.

cheryl king: can the acai berry really promote weight loss though? i thought it was just an antioxidant. i drink monavie for overall health, i have not lost any weight, i was not expecting too either.

Linda: This MonaVie is just way too expensive, for just being juice. I can’t believe they also are trying to recruit people to be distributors. You would think they were making enough money off of this stuff as it is, they wouldn’t be running some little scheme on the side. No weight loss yet.,..i probably won’t be able to afford to buy much more.

ellen: How many calories are in MonaVie? That’s something to consider too, in my opnion….

Britt: I can see how MonaVie could help you lose weight. If you drink some of it, you don’t feel like eating anything right away, in fact it made me feel a little sick. I want to lose about 20 pounds, and I know that fruits are really good for you, but maybe this is the wrong kind of fruit for me? Anybody else feel bad after they drink it, or is it just me?

Faye: I started taking MonaVie when I started working out again this spring but the more I thought about it I felt it was a waste of money and instead of starting juicing my own fruit and blending smoothies. I take vitamins as well and I think this is sufficient for me. I am losing weight but it has NOTHING to do with my experience with the product called MonaVie.

Penelope: After seeing MonaVie on Rachael Ray I went online and ordered a case. I kept it in the basement, just had one bottle in the fridge, and I guess I forgot to tell my husband about it, bcs a rather embarassing thing happened. We had a dinner party and he went downstairs to get a bottle of wine. We have so much in our cellar, I never thought to check to see what he was getting. Well, he grabbed a bottle of MonaVie and had poured glasses for our guests before I had a chance to see the label! The first people who sipped it tried to be polite but then my husband took a swig and spit it right back out. He looked at me in horror, asking what kind of wine I had ordered. Nobody liked it, the whole bottle was wasted. I don;t really know what its benefits are, but I wish they would change the packaging.

Kathleen: I think MonaVie is a great health blend. I would never have the time or inclination or the know-how to put together all these healthy berries and fruits so I am glad to have this easy solution. It’s pricey, but what isn’t these days.

trista: I guess i was hoping that MonaVie would help me with my appetite, which is one of my biggest problems in terms of my weight. But it really didn’t…i was still hungry all the time. Then i looked at the ingreidnets, and i saw that it doesn’t seem to have a fat burner in it, either! I don’t really understand how exactly this is supposed to result in weight loss. I just think for the amount of money this costs, it should have more powerful ingredients than this. I am starting to suspect that this is just a “trendy” proudct that’s not really very effective.

Bronte: I really like the idea of getting so much fruit into my diet in such an easy way, ’cause I know I don’t eat enough of it and I know I should. So this MonaVie at least takes the guilt away from what I’m eating, or not eating. The trouble is, I thought it was supposed to help you lose weight, and I’m not seeing that happen. So I’m sort of split decision on this one…good for overall health, but not so good as a dieter’s delight.

Noah: To mitigate the nasty taste I dilute one shot of MonaVie in iced apple juice and take it every morning after a 5 mile jog. It keeps me feeling fit and potent.

Sally: MonaVie is a little expensive, but I like to keep my immune system strong so I take it, for now at least. But I’ve never considered it a weight loss aid, I take Nuphedrine for that purpose. I think the combo is keeping me healthy & alert, and I’m getting thinner.

Helena: I served MonaVie at my last dinner part and no one liked it. I hadn’t tasted it and just thought it was like grape juice but enhanced with nutrients. It is very weird and I don’t quite know who would drink this on a regular basis or why.

Ina: MonaVie is not bad tasting, esp when you compare it to those other concentrated juice blends. HAve you tasted Noni? MUCH worse than this, that stuff makes me wanna vomit. MonaVie is sweeter and has lots of benefits. I feel like its worth spending the money on something like this, even if it means my summer wardrobe will be the same as last year’s.

Jennie: Yeah, i do love the idea of getting those antioxidants, and fruit is always excellent. But i just don’t see anything in this that boosts the metabolism, and I have a terribly slow metabolism. I think what i need is a good fat burner. I mean, maybe i could just drink this as a a healthy juice, you know as a beverage, and take something else for weight loss? That could get costly, though. I don’t know. if anybody knows of a good metabolism booster i would love to hear about it. jennie

janie: i like acai, i’ve tried different juices with it but i heard that monavie is just a scam does anyone know if its really a good source i’m afraid to lose money.

Paige: This is confusing. Is MonaVie a diet aid? A health drink? A nonalcoholic beverage? When I go on a diet I like to use a fat burner, sometimes called a thermagenic which increases metabolism. I try and eat less and walk 30 minutes a day. I don’t mess with to much weird stuff cause you never no whats in it.

viv: Yeah, this MonaVie juice is almost on par with a healthy snack bar….it’s good for you & can go with your diet, but it is not a diet in and of itself. Especially since it doesn’t seem to have a thermogenic fat burner or an appetite suppressant.

Brylee: Penelope, I laughed out loud when I read your comment! What a night that must have been…I can just see it! Did your husband actually SPIT? Sounds like something mine would do…ah, men, bless them all. And I have to agree with you about the bottle…so easy to be fooled into thinking something yummy’s in it, rather than Acai Berry. It’s supposed to have the same benefits as wine, but that doesn’t mean they have to put it in the same type of bottle…attention must be paid!

Johnny: You know what I like are those crystal lite slips you can put in your purse and add to bottled water. I know drinking water raises metabolism and fills you belly. often you think you are hungry but you are thirsty I have read. I had some MonaVie but I didn’t care for the taste and it seems like a waste of money.

crystal: When I am sick with a cold for example, I eat chicken soup but I also take cold medicine. you know what I mean? MonaVie isn’t a diet aid it can just help you if you are already dieting I think that’s what its for so you can’t really compare it to a product like Hoodia.

Vicky: Hi i don’t really care for the flavor of the MonaVie juice, is the gel any better?

Cadence: 19 different fruits? All in one bottle? How can that be anything but good? I’m sold on MonaVie…I look better, I swear my skin is actually tighter, and my belly is starting to really flatten out. When people ask me what made the change in me, I’m happy to tell them about MonaVie…I’m a real believer.

Imogene: If McDonald’s cheeseburgers were fortified with green tea would that make them a health food? I think not. I am taking the summer to do a low carb diet and work out until I can’t see straight. That is the only way I ever lose weight: starvation. I am going to burn some calories and not with MonaVie, yuck sorry I purchased.

Cailyn: And the latest quick money maker on the market? MonaVie! I feel so dumb that I fell for this…I wish I’d read about it here, first. I mean, it’s not a bad thing to drink fruit juice, but why can’t we just leave it at that? And it’s SO expensive! I’m going to go back to organic cranberry juice from Trader Joe’s.

Joan P.: Taking MonaVie daily is just a part of the new health routine I’m trying to follow. I turned 50 last year and decided it was time to really pay attention to my body and try to keep it strong. I have been walking for an hour every evening, eating more fresh foods and cut out the red meat. I have lost about 5 lbs over the past 3 six months, I don’t attribute it to the MonaVie, I def owe it to my lifestyle changes, but I like this juice & will continue drinking it for my health.

Kat: I have been drinking my MonaVie faithfully as instructed, but i still find myself having food cravings and pigging out on my “trigger” foods such as pizza and chocolate. So, as someone mentioned above, this juice might be helpful in a sense, but it does NOT offset the eating you do in any given day. Espeically since it does not have a fat burner or an appetite suppressant. I like the taste just fine, but not enough to continue buying this.

Blair: I used MonaVie as part of a healthy diet and was dancing every day for the last three months and I have lost about 20 pounds. I wouldn’t give MonaVie all the credit by far, but it makes me feel healthy and I think it helps. Maybe it’s all in my head, but so what? My body looks great.

Caleigh: I’m confused about the gel. Are you supposed to squirt it in your mouth while driving, or whatever? Are you supposed to rub it on your elbows after a tennis game? What do you think would happen if you put it on your face? Would it work on wrinkles ’cause it’s full of vitamin C? Can somebody help me with this?

Nadia: If weight loss is your concern, I wouldn’t bother with MonaVie, it is not really powerful in that way. I have been taking Slim 10 and have gone from a size 14 to a 10, which is pretty good I think. I feel MonaVie is decent as an antioxidant but nothing more.

Rachel: I saw MonaVie at my new gym, & figured, what the heck maybe i will try it. So i did, and over the next few weeks, i did lose some weight. The thing is, during that time i was also working out rigorously at the gym. After a few months i wasn’t really able to make it to the gym anymore, i got super busy, and then i started to notice that i was regaining the weight even though i was still drinking the MonaVie! So that’s when i realized that it was the exercise, not the juice, that was causing me to loose the weight. I should’ve known! So i am just not sure about this stuff, i don’t think it has much value alone.

Caitlin: What can you do with this juice when you find you just can’t stand the taste? Is there something I can mix it with? Do you think it would be ok with a lot of Vodka or something strong to really cut horrible acid feeling it leaves in your mouth?

Marlene: I think absolutely that MonaVie is a TOTAL TREND. Every once in a while, some new product pops up that is supposed to make people just lose weight without effort. Well after trying this i can say this is NOT it. It doesn’t even suppress the appetite. I don’t think it even has a single “diet ingredient’ in it! Does it?

Iris: It is so unrealistic that regular women are going to look like all those emaciated celebs int he trashy magazines. I am a real woman with hips and a bust. I like food so I eat food. I try to work out but sometimes I have to like work and take care of my children. I am sure if you are rich and famous and have every meal catered and can workout 5 hours a day MonaVie makes you feel wonderful. For me it is another expense and an unpleasant one at that. I need something (diet wise) that is going to give me energy and help me eat less. this just doesn’t make sense for the majority of the public. this is life, not reality television.

shawna: Well, i have to respectfully disagree w/those of you who think this putrid junk tastes good. It tastes like sh*t. Sorry to be vulgar but i can’t believe i bought into this. I couldn’t even drink it long enough to know if it worked.

Lori: Hey I like the wine bottle shape! I’d much prefer to pour my beverages out of an elegant glass bottle than a bulky plastic thing, like what my kids drink. I even pour it into my wine glasses, its a treat!

Felicia: Well, that’s nice that Jen Aniston & Rachael Ray drink juices like MonaVie…but don’t they both also have full-time professional trainers????? Um, that might be why they have good bodies, not the juice??

Simone: Before buying MonaVie I bought the NOW Acai Berry juice concentrate, and liked it just fine. I wanted to see if MonaVie was any better, though because I heard so much about its benefits and the other fruits. Really, I didn’t notice a big difference, I’m going back to NOW, its like a quarter of the price.

Sammi: Well, its very hard to argue with the value of all of those fruits….i do think this sounds like a healthy drink. I am a bit concerned that so many of you are not exactly in love with the weight loss results of this, though. I just started drinking it and I’m enjoying it, but i do need to loose the weight…should i be dieting, too?

Nelly: I take MonaVie when I get home from work or when I am looking in the pantry for a snack after dinner or anytime I am just “grazing” not really hungry, but bored. It is so much better than a buttered roll or chips or whatever. For me it is a healthy, easy choice. I don’t have a problem with it.

Becky: Well I used to make smoothies with lots of fruits but sometimes they would hurt my stomach & give me bad indigestion. Its so much easier to get them all in MonaVie, just take a shot and be done with it.

Calla: Well, I don’t think MonaVie tastes as bad as a lot of you do, but on the other hand, I’m not convinced yet that it’s really doing much for me. I think I’d really rather eat just fresh fruits, on their own, than all the things that are in this juice, but that’s the problem. Where do you find Acai berries? Not in the market, even Whole Foods doesn’t carry them, and God knows, they have everything. So I guess I’ll stick with MonaVie for a while longer and see if anything noticable happens.

diana: I enjoyed MonaVie in the beginning, but then i got a bit tired of the taste. So especially since it was so expensive and wasn’t making me lose weight, i just stopped buying it.

JOY: CADENCE – are you a distributor of Mona Vie…it sure sounds like a sale..

Pat: MonaVie might look pretty but it tastes terrible. I was chasing the drink with cheese and crackers to make it more palatable. Maybe that’s why I gained weight…

Anna: MonaVie definitely is good for you, there’s really no question about that…however, the issue is whether or not it is a weight loss product. I say it is not. The reason i feel this way is becuase its ingredients are just not tailored for weight loss.I still drink it just for my health, but i am not holding my breath for the weight loss.

Vivian: YES, Sammi!! If you need you need to lose weight you should definitely be dieting. I’m glad that you’re taking MonaVie too bcs it will help keep your immune system healthy & its just good to have all these antioxidants. If you need help dieting though try Nuphedrine because it has appetite suppressants and a fat burner. Good luck!

Cameron: I think I’m going to watch Supersize Me instead of buying any more MonaVie. I need to lose some weight, have GOT to stop my cravings for burgers from The Habit, and the only way to do it is to just STOP! No juice is going to do that for me, and I don’t care what it is.

Suzanna: sometimes a cigar is just a cigar and sometimes a health drink is just that. I don’t think there’s a hidden agenda or any reason to get so worked up. If you want to lose weight go on a diet. I think MonaVie is good for breakfast with a hardboiled egg. not bad.

susannah: I don’t know I think I need to try this a bit longer…I am also modifiying my eating habits, and i am noticing a bit of difference, I think. Maybe the key is, you drink this juice WITH a healthy low-fat diet, and then you will see results. I will report back to you.

hannah: hmmm i got the monavie not for weight loss but for, um, more… intimate reasons. i heard it helps with the sex drive? ive been taking it for 6 weeks, i don’t know if its helping…

Bryn: Well i think i need a metabolism booster. I currently weigh 250 lbs and it is kind of an emergency that i drop the weight. At least that is what my doc. said. I don’t think juice is gonna cut it for me. I think i need a pill or something.

freida: I thought Monavie was bitter and heavy and it didn’t even quench my thirst, much less keep my hunger at bay. I have to give this the big thumb down.

Camilla: MonaVie’s a really good source of vitamins and minerals, there’s no doubt about that. And I like it that there’s the same stuff in it that red wine has, so who knows, it might make us live longer…jury’s out on that one. But what I was really hoping was that it would help me lose weight, and that’s not happening, or at least not yet. So maybe I’ll just look at it as an easy way to get more C’s, and try to find a diet pill that doesn’t have any crazy side effects.

jody: yeah, you do have to watch out for these gals who rave about MonaVie, half of them are distributors. An acquaintance at work who i thought was starting to become a friend did that to me. I felt so used. It’s like being invited to a Tupperware party..they don’t really care about you, just the sale.

Chante: Mona Vie is very elegant and better than a smoothie, which are too often too thick for me to finish. I wouldn’t say it replaces a diet but it works within it. so Thumbs up.

Candy: Since I started drinking MonaVie, I’ve had this terrible sugar craving! Maybe because it’s so sour? Anyway, all I can think about are things like doughnuts and cake and maybe it’s my body trying to balance out whatever’s in MonaVie? I don’t think this is going to work for me as something that’s supposed to help youlose weight, that’s for sure.

Jackie: Let me just tell you that if you’re trying to lose weight, this is NOT the way to go. I’ve tried MonaVie, Sambazon & Bossa Nova Acai juice – they ALL suck. The only thing that works is a true fat burner/appetite suppressant combo, and I swear by the Slim Shot Diet (http://www.slimshotdiet.com/NEW ) because I don’t like pills. Lost 10 lbs in 6 weeks.

Lucy: I guess i really thought i had found the “answer” with monavie, since Acai juice was supposed to be all the rage. However, i did not see any difference, i was very disappointed. I guess you still have to be responsible in your eating habits, i think i maybe believed i could go hog-wild with the food while drinking this stuff, but i was sooo wrong.

zooey: Is this MonaVie Stuff a concentrate? Are you supposed to add water? That would make sense considering how expensive it is. I can’t say anything good so I had better not say anything more at all.

Kristen: So, it’s a pyramid scheme? creepy. I don’t like to support corporate things like this anyway. I n my neighborhood there are old men who sell fresh fruit juice from a cart and I would rather give my money to then. Mona Vie is worse than I had previously thought! thanks.

BeBe: Well I must admit I got caught up in the hype of all the superfoods I saw on Oprah and was particularly impressed with the Acai berry. I’ve tried some smoothies from Jamba Juice that use this, they taste pretty good, and I’m sure that MonaVie has some benefits so I cannot be too harsh on it. I just don’t think its the best source, if you want antioxidants or Acai. I think its more of a business opportunity for people.

marie: I would rather drink the Pom i get at the supermarket than this MonaVie stuff. Neither one makes me lose weight but at least i enjoy the Pom.

Beth: I like most of the fruits in MonaVie (the ones I’ve tried) but somehow all together the taste is pretty sour. I think the drink is giving me canker sores. gross. I want to use it for another week to see if I lose any weight but if not it’s back to cabbage soup and mint tea.

Molly: This is something I don’t feel bad about taking every day, unlike coffee or even a glass of wine. There’s no guilt with the MonaVie. I’ve seen some improvement with my skin and I really do feel more alert. I don’t need to lose weight so that’s not an issue for me, I take this for my body & health.

Stephanie: negatives: MonaVie is $$, bad tasting, no appetite suppressants. positives: It has vitamins and antioxidants. Why don’t you just take a capsule and call it a day. For dieting use any number of products made with Hoodia and/or a fat burner. easy decision.

Alison: This has got to be a scam. I never got into the distribution aspect of MonaVie, I just ordered it for awhile, I didn’t particularly like it but I thought it was probably good for me anyway. So I bought it from a girlfriend, a distributor, then all of a sudden, she wouldn’t take my calls. I couldn’t order any more from her, and I didn’t bother trying to find someone else. She finally got back to me a few weeks later & apologized but said not to mention MonaVie. Apparently there’s some bitterness there…I don’t know the details but I suspect she lost money or something. Oh well, I didn’t really like it that much anyway.

sue: Mona Vie is a fruit drink. With lots n lots of anti oxidents, Great for you. Loose weight? Its fruit guys just fruit juice. No preservatives, not deluted or sweetend. Pure consentrated fruit.All it does is helps your body heal itself. Because u r eating your fruits. If u want to lose weight eat less and exercise.

Lavone: I have been drinking monavie for two months now, i didnt even know it was suppose to be used for weight loss.But what i can tell the difference is i sleep better, and that in its self means alot for me…BUT it is way to pricey….Its suppose to also be good for sore bones, i dont know if i can really tell much change there..The taste doesnt bother me either, but like the one gal said. After a while you do get tired of the flavor. Ill continue drinking it for now till i find something better..and i also think it helps my restless leg….The price does need to be lowered if they want people to continue drinking it. Me im also undecided about the juice.

tania: You will never see the effects on mona vie since the benefits that produces is inside your body combating cancer cells, lowering your ldl cholesterol that is responsable for clogging the arteries,making more resistant to get sick. etc. Mona vie provide us with the supplements that our body needs on a daily basis to stay healthy,that is why you do not see anything but if we could see inside of our cell or our arteries we will continue spending our money in this wonderfull beverage, taking mna vie daily we do not need to take more vitamins.Read about the benefits that every fruit has and you will see that mona vie is marvellous. Dennis: Hmmm….I’m a mona vie distributor and have never been told to push this as a diet aid. It gives you an amazing amount of energy, so I suppose it could increase your fat burning capabilities. I’m over 50 and enjoy the decrease in painful joints since I drink the “active” mona vie that has glucosomine. I haven’t lost any weight either, but didn’t expect to.

Beth Campbell: MonaVie has never been marketed as a weight loss product. It is a FOOD product. Yes, if you feel better, you might do more- therefore burn more calories……

danny: we all are “ignorance” mona vie juice is good for you did not stated the you could loose weight. its only helping your body to free radical, give it time and you will see that is truly good for you

Jaimie: Mona Vie is not a diet aid-it’s a superfood. It’s rich in antioxidants and the glucosamine has done wonders for my joint pain. I sleep better at night and have increased levels of energy. It is pricey, but how do you put a price on health?

Rae: Monavie is not a diet supplement. Yes you can loose weight by taking it But you have to be on a diet regimine Just like any other product out there. Accept this is a fruit and berry Juice Not dietary supplement.

Luisa: I don’t know I tried Mona Vie and the only thing I notice was a good nights sleep. I sleep so well I feel sleepy ALL day. I haven’t notice a energy boost at all. The taste is good but the price is bad.

Shanda: MonaVie!!! Awesome! We are all different,from our taste buds to our bodies! MonaVie is not a diet juice,it is an amazing blend of 19 fruits,from around the world! The best stuff on the planet! 4 ounces a day= approx. 13 servings of fruit! Do your research,people,MonaVie is beyond good for you,especially when you are unable to eat fruit,everyday,as we all should! MonaVie makes no claims………..but over 1.5 million people from around the world are drinking MonaVie,including my children. They love it!and they are definitely benefiting from drinking it,as well as my entire family. cheryl: Yeah, i think MonaVie is a fun fruit juice…although its true, it has nothing to do with weight loss at all. I think people get confused about that! For weight loss I take Slim10 and it’s pretty cool, burns 500 extra calories a day, plus curbs my appetite! i have been seeing some excellent results with this…I’ve also developed a nice balanced diet, and have been going swimming 5 days a week. I am really proud of myself, i am down 2 jeans sizes.

Dee: MonaVie is not advertised as a diet or weight loss supplement anyway! I drink it daily because I (like most people) don’t eat 5-9 servings of fruit everyday as the FDA recommends. The price of my monthly MonaVie is less than the cost of buying enough fruit for 5-9 servings a day plus the gas to the grocery store more often to get fresh fruit PLUS the fruit that goes bad in the fridge! MonaVie is a great alternative to WASTING money on fruit that does not get eaten. As for diet- get off your butts and exercise- nothing good for you just drops the pounds off! Common sense people!

katie J.: Wow, Dee…you sound angry or something. I don’t think there’s anything to get upset about here…we’re just talking about health and diet. Anyway, I do enjoy Monavie when i’m too busy to stop and eat fresh fruit…its a nice alternative to have, i agree. But i do have to lose weight as well, and I do think i might like a supplement to help me get my metabolism going. I have always had a very slow metabolism, so that even when i do “get off my butt” it often takes a very long time for the weight to be lost. I don’t think there’s anything shameful about a preson who IS trying and takes a supplement to enhance their results. Dee, I think for a person who finds alternate ways of getting your daily allowance of fruit, you shouldn’t point fingers at dieters who find alternative ways of ensuring weight loss success. I do work hard at my diet and i don’t think there is anything wrong with taking a supplement too.

shannon: for people who actually think that a juice of any kind is going to help them loose weight are dreaming. i take monavie and it has truly made a big difference to my overall health and well being. monavie gave me the nutrients my body was craving, wich in turn reduced my cravings for food. Any weight lost needs to be worked at with a sensible diet and exersise. for the lady who got charged for buying a bottle retail because her freind was a distributor, good on her, people want everything for free. the product tastes great and if you add the cost of vitamins, fruits and vegtables you got a good deal. For those of you who have only been on it a couple of weeks hang in there. This is an amazing product, I am diabetic and overweight and Both my husband and I are truly amazed. I have never felt this good in a long time, do your research, we did.

Kerry: My chiropractor has been trying to sell me on MonaVie for a few months now and I’ve always said I would just consider it and keep forgetting to look into it. I’m not really surprised at what I’m reading on this blog..I do eat an adequate amount of fresh fruits & veggies but I also need to lose 15 lbs or so. I don’t think I’ll waste my money on this.

Sue: I am not a distributor but I have to say that I tried a bottle and I did notice a decrease in my appitite. I was not looking for a weight loss product so this was a suprise. I have noticed that my skin is looking a bit firmer, which was also a nice suprise. If it is the monavie, then I would contiue to drink it but the price is a bit high. What could be in the juice that could improve your skin? I am 48 and trying to keep my skin as nice as possible. If anyone else has seen an inprovement in their skin, it would be nice to know what your doing. Thanks!

lily: MonaVie is just juice, that’s fine. but i had to find something that would stop me from eating so much. Theres no appetite suppressant in Monavie that i am aware of, so that was the wrong choice. I switched to a hoodia supplement (Hoodia P57) and its def. making a big difference for my appetite. I still drink Monavie occasionally but i don’t expect it to make me lose weight.

Diane: I have tried to keep an open mind while reading most of the comments regarding the Monavie product. I must say…I love it! It tastes like a berry pie to me. I have been drinking the active for 3 months now….and I feel fantastic! I have Type II diabetes and have had it for 10 years. I am so very tired all the time and have a massive lack of energy. I describe it like having “the flu” you know when your body is so tired you can bearly lift your arms up…just exhausted! Well since I have been drinking the Monavie, I have so much energy and I feel great…my mood swings have leveled out and I feel “normal” again! starr: Monavie does not claim to be a weight loss product. Some acai juices and blends have been making such claims, but not this one. I give it a thumbs up for what it is…a nutritional product that can seriously make a difference in how your body functions. More energy, better sleep, lower blood pressure and the list goes on and on. justin: When I first found about MonaVie 4 years ago, I was sceptical. However, I always wanted to promote a healthier lifestyle. It wasn’t long after finding this drink my cousin was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I had asked him to drink MonaVie with me. Now, 4 years later he is still alive, though he still has the brain tumors. They have actually shrunk a couple of milimeters. Doctors have struggled to understand why he hasn’t passed. Sheridan: A couple friends are trying to get me into this as a distributor. I have fibromaylgia (due to an accident) and was told that it would help the inflammation. I am faithfully drinking it, but with no true improvement. It has only been two weeks, but I’d really like to give it a shot. In the mean time, I am also increasing my in-take of other anti-inflammatory foods, which should only help me. But I don’t believe that anyone should bank on this being the “cure-all”! A properly balanced diet and exercise, including cardio and weight training will help you lose weight if that’s your goal! I highly doubt though that I will get involved as a distributor or start buying it on a regular basis. I have always eaten well, exercised and have been healthy. jolene: wow, Sheridan, i’m floored by how “thoughtful” your friends are, trying to draw in into some shady distrubition scheme as you suffer from inflammation and fibromyaligia! As far as i’m concerned, MonaVie is as decent a juice as any other acai juice brand, but it is not a miracle & its not going to “cure’ any real health problem or help relieve pain from an accident. And the whole distribution thing surrounding it just seems suspect & unfair to me, and so even if the product itself is ok, i think that really sours it for me. I always will choose any other brand of acai over his. HOWEVER i am also realistic about what acai /antioxidant juice can and can’t do.

Lele44: Monavie is a concentrated all natural fruit drink. It makes no claim to be a miracle diet drink. While the taste takes some getting used to, especially when you are acustomed to other juices, all you have to do is not breathe in when you’re drinking, and make sure it is ice cold. Monavie has given me more energy and curbed my “sweet tooth”, which has helped me achieve fitness goals. Losing weight is simple. Eat less, exercise more. Monavie helps you, but you still have to do the work.

Sounds like a bunch of really lazy people on here looking for a miracle. There is no such thing, how much you take in and how much you burn daily is how you lose weight. MonaVie is a fruit/vegetable supplement from your normal intake of fruit and vegetables. I would have to say that MonaVie tasted better than a multi-vitamin horse pill that you taste all day long when you “burp” The juice is not expensive if you use it properly and does have cancer fighting benefits. Stop looking at the negative and start looking at the positive. You can drink the juice for free, but you must taste it, feel it and if you enjoy it then you can share your experiences, I can see there are a lot of unhealthy lazy people commenting on here.

Sharon: I have used Mona Vie for a year now I started at 2 ounces a day to cut cost and you can take just that much a day . Best is 4 oz but 2 is better then none. as for weight loss? sometimes as it increases energy it may take away eating because you are busy being energetic .You still have to watch calories. and exercies and drink water. The MV is expensive yes but if you buy that much fruit a week and throw away some wheres the saving? If 4 ounces is too much cost wise just take 2 oz.that way a case will last you 8 weeks instead of 4 No big deal to me if anyone wants to enroll free under me and they only order every 2 months. Since you said you have finished your 8th bottle that must mean you gave it 2 months .Mona Vie doesn’t cure anything ,nothing but a scientist can find a cure. Danielle: I love MonaVie and I drink it to be healthy. I have digestion/constipation issues and this is the only thing has helped me to be regular. It also helps with my migraines.. since I started drinking it, I don’t get them as often and when I do, I take a shot of MonaVie and it lessens the time for my headache. For those of you who don’t like the taste, I’m guessing you tried the “Active” because in my opinion, that doesn’t taste as good as the Pulse. Try Pulse.. it’s delicious. It’s a great way to make sure you get your fruits and antioxidants for the day. My skin is looking amazing too.. AND my hairdresser commented on how nice my hair felt for not getting a hair cut in over 3 months! Try MonaVie, especially if you have digestion issues — it’s helped me so much.

Nick: I love this product, i used to wake up 2 or 3 times a night and have a hard time falling back asleep. 3 days after i started drinking the juice i was sleeping through the night and the only thing i did diffrent was drink the juice. I find this stuff amazing! I dont know why people think they will lose weight while drinking this juice its not a weight loss supplement at all its just fruit juice. NICKY: I just want to say that Mona-Vie is not a weight loss supplement. Eating a well balance diet and exercise is the way to go. Mona-vie is an antioxidant to combat free radicals. I just started using it for that reason, not to loose weight, I exercise and eat right for that. Expensive yes, I agree. but it is worth it. I rather pay my money on a product that is going to help me get healthier than pharmaceuticals and medical bills. Diet pills, all have adverse effects when taken long term and once you stop using these the weight comes right back on.

Adan: I started drinking Monavie back in 2007. I had a friend giving me 2 cases a month and all he ask was that I drink it. He also gave me directions on when to drink it. In the morning before I brushed my teeth, he said the sweet toothpaste would make the Monavie taste bitter, and immediately before I went to bed. He really stressed not to drink Monavie and then wait 30 minutes before going to bed. He would not tell me anything about the juice or what people were saying about it’s benefits. Within the first week I felt better than I had in years. Years earlier both my knee’s were hurt in an accident, and even they quit hurting. After about 3 months, I had several skin flaws disappear, and I’m not talking about zits. I had cancer on my face and the scars were very noticeable. They all but went away. There was also a dark spot about the size of a dime on my lower back that completely went away. The only lifestyle change I made was drinking the Monavie. I love this product. It is second to none when it come to quality. Try taking in the morning before brushing your teeth. Maybe that will help. It sure taste GOOD to me
