Selma: Since I’ve been using Metabolife, I no longer need the Starbucks. Man, I was spending something like $15 a DAY on those Venti Lattes, but now I get all the caffeine rush I need from these pills, and I think they’re working okay so far, it’s been 2 weeks.

Sissi Vining: The dangers are not gone just because they took out the ephedra. I used to take it with the ephedra for several years with very good results, but stopped taking it when i started to have stroke-like symptoms. Several years later, I wanted to try the ephedra free version. However, only two weeks into taking it, I again had “stroke-like” symptoms, this time even more severe with vision problems, cognitive problems, and facial and hand numbness. The doctors could not find anything and disregarded my allegations, but I know it could have only been the Metabolife. Anybody out there thinking about taking Metabolife to loose weight – you certainly won’t be healthier for taking it!!!!

Mud: Metabolife doesnt seem that bad to me. I am very sensitive to caffeine and it doesnt give me any bad side effects after i take the pills. They give me a lot of energy, Im not sure how good they are with weightloss because i havent been taking them that long yet. The only side effect i get is gas, so i guess it could be worse.

sandy: I took the “original” Metabolife during the controvery; I lost lots of weight and with Dr visits had no health or sleeping problems. Of course they took out the ephedra but from the advertising I see now you can purchase just ephedra pills…is there no metablife like the original you can add your own ephedra pill to? ‘anything to get the same results I used to get. after two kids I have had no results with diet and exercise and wish I has stock pilled some of the “original” for my “after baby” weight……

Jen: When Metabolife had Ephedra in it it was the best! I mean great. I took two pills in the morning and felt like I could run a marathon all day. I had tons of energy and wasnt hungry all the time either. After 3 months of taking it, one day I felt really jittery and started shaking. It scared me so I stopped taking it for awhile. I still have a few pills left and take it from time to time if I need energy to stay up late to get projects done or whatever, but they dont sell the Metabolife with Ephedra anyone. It sucks. I think if you took it in moderation you would be fine.

connie: I took metabolife about 10 years ago when it had ephedra in it it was great lost down to a size 10 in 2 months I was in a size 14 now metabolife is just another diet pill that does not work would like the old bottle back

CJ hopkins: ANY diet plan you do, still requires effort. MetaboLife seems fine, for what it is, and there are hundreds of ohter pills that might also work, combined with a balanced diet & exercise.
