TO me these shakes seem very expensive, esp. since there are so many cheaper shakes out there. I’m not sure this Appemine is worth it either. I’m gonna keep looking, i think.

Oh hear is a news flash get off your A** and excercise with it. The caffeine is minimal, Oh wait I am sorry it doesn’t have any idiots read ingredients, might be helpful. In three months I have lost 30lbs., and two waist sizes.

Shouldn’t you be so happy and proud of yourself that you couldn’t be bothered coming on here to pick on people? Or are you cranky because you’re STARVING???? hey, i don’t blame you. That’s how i felt when i was on Appemine, too. But instead of verbally abusing other struggling diets, I got off this joke of a starvation diet and tried BALANCED MEALS. Maybe you should do likewise! Save the anger for your support group.

Kimo: Hi. While Mike’s approach might be questionable, he IS in possession of the facts. One shake is equivalent to a full meal, according to the RightSize folks, so if you’re eating (drinking) more than one per meal because you’re starving otherwise, that doesn’t seem reasonable to me. Second, I think the idea of eating an orange, or anything else, will kill the lo-cal effect of the shake, which is mostly why you’re losing weight. But, it strikes me that if you’re drinking more than one shake per meal, or if you need to eat extra stuff, or drown yourself in water, then maybe the Appemine doesn’t work. Granted, not EVERY ingredient works for EVERY person, but the number of people for whom this ingredient works seems low. Mike, and some others, I think, are absolutely right about the caffeine issue. 50 mg is not very much caffeine; much less than a cup of coffee (even a cup of “decaf” has 3-5 mg of caffeine); slightly more than a cup of tea (40-42 mg). And, finally, I suspect Mike would be cranky even if he had just polished off a rich and fulsome meal at his favourite buffet. Or maybe he’s just a d**k.

lisa: I tried appemine and I really liked it. The first time I tried it,I lost 2 dress sizes in less than a year, which is a good amount to lose.you dont lose too much too fast.I would have a shake for breakfast,then a salad or lean gourmet meal for lunch,then just whatever for dinner.I also drink alot of water. That also helps.I just wish it didnt cost so much.

cecilia: Well, i just feel that psychologically speaking, its no good for me to feel “starving” or “deprived.” As nutritionally sound as these Right Size shakes might be, they are not a normal way of eating. And i know that meal replacement makes me miserable and hungry, and i “cheat’ as soon as I am exposed to real food again. Also, if Appemine is such a potent appetite suppressant, I have to say I don’t understand why it is being combined with meal replacement. It would seem to me that with a truly powerful appetite suppressant, you should be able to handle real food without overdoing it, right? It’s like, you have no appetite, but you still have to drink these crummy shakes? Why? Couldn’t you just have a moderate meal, if the Appemine works>??? or maybe…it doesnt….

steve: A local talk show had the rightsize product and was offering a FREE trial that contains appemine.All you had to do was pay the shipping.I got it and opened up the cans.Tried one didn’t feel anything.Going to try it one more when I found out that the free trial is NOT free.Just a delay of a $120.00 order.Since this company must resort to this practice it HAS to be a fraud.Beware of thisNow I’m going to have to get out of this before all my checks bounce.

Dewanda: Well,I have tried the shakes, and they are good but i also still feel a little hungry, but i don’t crave chocolate while drinking the shakes. I have tried everything for weight loss. These shakes have helped a little. My only problem is after you stop drinking the shakes, will the weight come back.

bella: yeah they are offering up this free product like crazy but the fine print is its gonna cost you – $120 like you said steve. i just saw the commercial on TV the other day. I tried Right Size Smoothies with Appemine a while ago and i was not impressed with Appemine. I was still every bit as hugnry as before plus the shakes tasted awful.

Brenda: I received the Right Size yesterday and decided to try it today. OH MY GOSH….it gave me the worst stomach ache all day. I had to go to the bathroom almost immediately, it also made me feel like I had very large bricks in my gut all day. It certainly did not control hunger!!! An hour and 1/2 after I drank it, I wanted to eat the drywall!!! I really have no interest in drinking another sample at this point. I plan to send back the enitre order FREE because I am within the 2 week period. GOOD LUCK with this product. Let’s face it….it always comes down to the hard work of exercise and a good diet!!

Jenna: I tried Appemine. I would not recommend it only because it did not curb my appetite. I DID like the taste of it (I ordered cappuccino). It did fill me up ( calories for one scoop = 100 + add milk or juice). I chose to go with their 14 day trial, which cost me $18.80 plus the cost to ship back the containers. In addition, the container states that the caffeine from Appemine is 50mg + there is guarana seed in it as well (which also contains caffeine). Price is expensive too, $55 for 30 servings.

Mazee: Appemine – Wow, am I glad I read these!! I think the one that hit home was Bella’s. I noticed the same thing when I read the two weeks free trial “terms & conditions”. linda1471: I saw the ingredients in the Right size shakes. It is basically soy protein powder with some sweetener and something to make it disolve. It has some vitamins but nothing I don’t already get with my multivitamin. I buy protein powder at my health food store for $5.99 a pound. It doesn’t disolve well and most don’t like the taste. I put 8 oz of skimmed milk in the microwave for 2 and 1/2 minutes. Then it disolves well. I just add a scoop of Ovaltine and it tastes great. You now have basically what the product is. Appermine’s main ingrediant is green tea, easy enough to buy too. This works well for me and is worth a try for those who cannot afford the very overpriced Right Size. Eat an apple when you are really hungry and it really does fill you up. Of course for those who have zero will power and want an easy way to lose weight (psst..there is no such thing) you are going to fail no matter what you try. I suggest that you weigh yourself daily and if you feel the need to eat you must do it naked in front of a full length mirror. You have to exercise to lose weight no matter what diet you are on. 20 minutes 3 times a week is really not unreasonable. If you can’t do it for what ever excuse you make up for yourself then just keep on buying those plus sizes. Good luck

Pamela Lee: I ordered RightSize the chocolate flavor and I have to give it a thoumbs up. I added a bananna and a spoon of light cool whip and it taste really good. I am a night time snacker and its been 5 hours and I am not hungry. It can work if you give it a chance.

jason: why does every positive Appemine comment seem to be a little bit of a commercial line. Hmmm.

Jennifer: I just received my RightSize shakes yesterday – I got Vanilla and Chocolate, but only opened the Vanilla. I’ve had a total of three now. They’re not too pleasant unless you add in a bit of banana or other fruit along with the skim milk. I would also agree with the person that said if you are drinking 3-4 of these per day – that would be a good explanation of why you’re not loosing weight. The instructions said to replace only 1-2 meals per day with the shake and have healthy snacks between (fruit, yogurt, etc) and a normal healthy/light dinner. So far, I have only good reviews for the appetite suppressant portion of the product, I have had snacks of fruit (strawberries & grapes mostly) between shakes and haven’t had any problems. Also, RightSize instructions say to drink 8oz of water after drinking your shake to help boost the Appemine. Maybe some of you aren’t doing that?

Kathleen: I’v been taking my shakes for about 3 weeks now, following the instructions of replacing 1-2 meals a day, eating healthy snacks in between, drinking water & EXERCISING. I feel great, I’ve definitely lost. My question is: is anyone eating healthy snacks & exercising too? It’s not a magic pill, but iI find it gives me a jump start on my diet. For me, it shuts that side of my brain off that craves all day long & wants to eat for emotional reasons and has allowed me to stay focused and listen to my body, only eating when I’m hungry. Season: Kathleen – what GREAT input. I read through all of the above comments and I have to say yours is by far the best outlook and standpoint. The shakes are not ‘magic’. They DO curb hunger unless you’re used to eating more than what’s necessary for your own body. I am so full every time I drink the shake. I don’t want anything to eat for a couple of hours. I am also a healthy eater, so my meals are usually salads, lean proteins, veggies and fruits. I also incorporate 4-6 days of 45 minute workouts each week. The price is not expensive at all compared to how much money people spend per meal per day eating out (not to mention the extra calories/fats they are consuming as well). This is a wonderful product, tastes better than any other powder shake I’ve used in the past. I will definitely be sharing this product with friends and family. Kristina: I also gor suckered into the “try it free for 2 weeks trial”. Then found out that if I kept the shakes that I would be charged $120. So after I received the shipment I called to return the unopened canister and then they said that if I kept the canister they would sent another one to me free and only charge me $80 for all 3! So I went with it. That’s just under 30 a can. After weighing myself I haven’t lost ANYTHING in the first week. In fact I feel heavier and more boated than I did before I started the diet. After I’m done with these shakes I won’t be purchasing anymore. I would rather eat 250 calories than drink them anyway.

Vickie S.: I just purchased the Right Size powder from CVS for $24.95. I started my weight loss program on January 5th, 2010 and as of March 5, 2010 I’ve lost 12 lbs and that was with whey protein mixed in my smoothies every morning with a reasonable lunch and dinner and execising 30 min to an hour everyday….. I guess I bought this Right Size powder because I kept hearing people talk about it….. I will keep you all posted….. Thanks for all your inputs about the product..

RuthAnne: I just received my shakes last week. I got the vanilla and chocolate. Both taste good to me but pretty expensive breakfast substitute. I hope after I use up the two containers that they won’t be sending me anymore though. I had better read all the fine print. I also heard they are available at CVS Pharmacy. Brenda J: Hello All! It’s Tues., 8/17 and I just received my Right Size powder this morning. I ordered the berry flavor. I mixed one scoop with skim milk and yogurt and a few ice cubes. I thought it was great; very refreshing after my one hour walk! I usually have oatmeal and an egg for breakfast and wanted to try something different. I will REPLACE ONLY ONE MEAL A DAY,not 2 or 3, to try to jump start my 30 lb weight loss journey. Unfortunately RuthAnne, there is no “50 lb. over night weight loss pill”. We all wish that it was! We have got to get u and start MOVING that weight we want to lose!! Going in I knew it was a 2 week free trial and yes, you do have to contact the mfg before the two weeks so you won’t be charged the $120!! Kathleen and Kimo, I loved your comments. Debi: All of you had interesting comments and this just goes to show you the Right Size shakes have a different effect on everyone. I drank them constantly for over 6 mos., the main reason is because I found them tasty and I could prepare them quickly, however, I would always get hungry with the vanilla, mixed with skim milk and fruit, although it was very yummy….the chocolate was WONDERFUL….I would have it in the afternoon and mix it with skim milk and a TBL of peanut butter and banana….a real taste treat! The only problem is that I didn’t lose a lot of weight, yes, you could blame it on the peanut butter but the recipe was actually in their printed material so I decided there would not be a problem. I have now tried to purchase it through CVS, however, neither the Right Size company knows which CVS carries them and when I contact CVS stores in South Florida, no one has heard of them and they are really pricy so I think I’ll keep looking, it was fun while it lasted!!

Sharon: I think that these smooties taste great. I love sweets like most over weight people. This rightsize smootie has satisfied my sweet tooth. I’m also exercising with it. Only been on it for 4 days. But after two weeks I’m hopefuk that I will have lost some weight.
