Beverly Floyd: I have had my air climber for about 3 years and I love it. I ordered the cheaper model and nothing has ever broken on it. I didn’t like that the person on the phone when I called to place my order tried to get me to upgrade because the one I purchased was the one they were using in their commercial and singing its praises. I figured that one was good enough for me and it has been. I have found that if you lean forward while stepping, it really works your butt muscles. I don’t use the video and rarely use the cords, but I love to set it to count calories and then walk while watching TV. I also never used the diet sent with it, but I have dieted on my own eating 1200 calories a day and recently lost 40 pounds in a little less that 5 months. I also walked outside some during this time, but after dark or on rainy days, I use my air climber and have had several of my friends ask me how I lost weight so fast and I always tell them about this piece of equipment. I love it and would recommend it in a heartbeat.

Alli: ITs a pretty decent workout, especially since it comes with resistance bands. I used to do a lot of running but have too much jiont pain to continue. The Air Climber workouts don’t give me the same runners high, of course, and I miss that. FOr what it is though, I am burning calories and staying toned, so its not bad.

Nora: I am not the workout type of girl but I find the AirClimber very easy to use. I actually sweat when I use it! Trista: When I purchased this airClimber, I was under the impression that I could lose 10 lbs in 10 days, but guess what, it didn’t happen. I didn;’t try to get my money back bcs I thought that maybe, if I stuck with it I could at least lose the 10lbs by the end of the month. Here I am TWO months later, and I’ve maybe lost 3 lbs. It works, I guess, but they make outrageous claims, if you ask me. THye get a thumbs down for that.

Julee: ITs totally fun to use & I don’t need to do anything else besides the Air climber workouts, to get in shape. I can’t afford a gym membership right now so this is the best thing for me & my budget.

Supermommy: you know assuming that you are gonna loose 10lbs in 10 days just by using the Air Climber sound very naive. You have to really watch what you are eating in order to loose that much weight. My order came with a little “eat right” booklet and it’s a good reminder of diet basics. I choose to do the south beach diet and it is working wonderfully well for me. I lost 22 lbs in a month. I also use the Air Climber 3 times a week, it’s a handy little device that I like to use in the winter. When it get warm I prefer walking or riding my bike. good luck to everyone.

agatha H.: My main point for gettting the AirClimber was to tone my core plus get a cardio workout. I am definitely getting the heart going, no question, but as far as the toning/inch loss in the belly, its not happening. I’m ready to try something else.

Janine: Air Climber is convenient if you have limited space, but to me it felt rather unstable, as if I was losing my balance on the thing. Because of that, I never was quite able to work out as hard as i wanted to.

Especially considering how expensive was shipping. As for the device itself, it is the cheapest looking device I have ever purchased for over $120! Loni: well, the Air Climber is definitely easy to store but as far as being a sturdy, reliable piece of equipment i have to give it the thumb-down. twice i have lost balance on this, and its rather unwieldy during the workout…once the bellows have run out of air as many have mentioned, and as hard as i have tried i have not lost weight. spazz: hi i just read thru all the comments i haveto agree with alot of the negatives. Dygrafs airclimber is identical to her late 80’s (88-92)stairclimber plus. I used it and the bellos did break very easily and cost of $20.00 for every replacement. Customer sevice was bad. But I will say this, after I got into it with playing loud music and watching the VHS video that came with I liked it. I got a real runners high, great cardiac and toning and weight loss. I happened to purchase mine at a store liquidation for around $39.00. This is my opinion, you should probably be less than 200 pds. have a good sense of balance and most of all I used hand weights (I couldn’t find her power hand weight gloves) so I just used my own weight dumbells and worked up to 5 pounds on armed and I will tell you it really helps the whole work out. I broke my for the last time in just under 12 months but lost 50 pds so I think if you want to pay the price you really have to dedicate yourself and beware of poor and overpriced customer service and billows.

Missy: I have to say that I love my AirClimber! I work full time and am enrolled in an online degree program, so I don’t have time to go to a gym. My apartment is tiny so I don’t have room for bulky equipment. I love that it is plastic and light weight because I can pick it up and move it where I want it! I have had no trouble balancing on it and I was surprised at how sturdy it seems to be, despite being plastic. I’m not sure if it will be better than walking, but in the winter I would be sitting around not getting any exercise so this will keep me moving year round. I would highly recommend it!

Kia: My mother ordered this for herself and I have been the sole user of it. I love this thing, it’s going on a year, and I have not had to replace anything or even reinflate the bellows. I love the workouts and when I get tired of them, I’ll do a blowout, which is all four back to back, or freestyle the moves or just step to some music vids. As far as the 10 pounds in 10 days thing goes, if you read the fine print on that claim, that is if you follow the very restrictive ten day plan that comes along with her other diet. I don’t do that because I just can’t but as far as the workouts go, if you are younger and active person, this is great to supplement any existing workout program you are on. Also, there are two models. The one you order over the phone, the upgraded version is more heavy duty and had two separate body cords, the one that they used to sell with the single body cord was supposed to be discontinued because the cords kept snapping as well as other issues. In an attempt to be able to workout together with my mother, I purchased an airclimber from Modell’s. I soon discovered, upon opening the box, that this is where the old models have gone. The one I got from the store, was broken under one pedal…and the air would not stay in it. In comparison to the one next to it in my home, the quality is much less. So I can see some people complaining of the quality. I am returning that one as soon as possible. Also, before settling for the store bought one, I attempted to purchase one online from the airclimber site. I was kind of forced into paying full because I was using a prepaid visa card, which was fine. I deposited the correct amount on the card, plus an extra 20 bucks just in case. My order never arrived. I checked the status and it said that my card could not be authorized for the full amount. I checked my card and there was a hold for the amount of the downgraded version on my account. When calling them, I was told that they place a hold on that amount until it ships, upon which time it would be released. So I said, ok so you will be charging the difference, they said no, the full charge was declined. I told them this was because I had the amount of the item on the account and that was it, and they said I have to deposit the other amount as well. Basically, I had to have enough money available on my card for two full charges and then one would drop off., when asked them why they had to hold so much, they could not give me a satisfying explanation so I told them that this made no sense to me and I cancelled the order. My mother’s was ordered on an installment plan with no problems whatsoever, it also arrived much sooner than the shipping we chose specified. Those issues aside. I am still enjoying this item. I just think anyone getting it should order direct and make sure you are getting the heavy duty upgraded model.
