Ab Circle

Rachel: The Ab Circle might be good for me for now because with two small children I need to exercise at home. I don’t know if I am notivated enough to kepe up with it and I need a diet too but so far wverything I am reading seems like it makes sense for my lifesty;e. ANYBOdy try this one??

Pamela: How much room does the Ab Circle takes? Does anyone know? I have a small office/guest room and was hoping ti put it there if I bought it. The device look very cool. How good is it?

Abigail: I am not an exercise expert but having strong stomach muscles is supposed to be very helpful physically speaking. Plus I have some belly fat I cant get rid of. I know I eat too much and sit at a desk all day and often after work I don’t want to go to the gym, maybe I would more with the Ab Circle? I don’t know if I can affor the 200 dollars right now but I am considering anythign that will help me loose 40 pounds.

RabbitRun: My husband and I almost fight over the AbCircle, and believe me, a few more times on this and I’ll be able to take him, I know it says only abs, but my arms are stronger too, must be working those while I’m twisting, it’s a super addition to my cardio…Roger thinks so too!

Teressa: I have had the Ab Circle for now 8 days and have tried to use it every day for at least 20 mins. I got to tell you it is so hard!!! I thought I hated situps but this device is way more painful. I hope to at least see result soon. I admit I have not been following the meal plan suggestion because I alrady like diet I am doing.

Kramer: i have used it and I think it was way awkward NOT Hard for me to use. I’m 6′4″ an could not fit comfortably on the Ab circle. I’ve got it all boxed up & ready to return, unless anyone’s got some tips for me to use thisthing, at my height. I tried calling the co, to see if I could adjust it somehow but never got an answer.

Lucy: Ab Circle is kind of a drag to use. I have had it for theee moths and used it maybe three times. I would just rather run or play outside. I think it is too m uch of a contraption for me sorry.

Gloria: I did appreciate that the AbCircle didnt cause any pain to my neck or back, but i also felt that it didn’t really provide as complete a workout as I had hoped. Although it was nice to only exercise a little bit each day, this short workout did not produce results, especialy in terms of weight loss. I should have known it wouldn’t be this easy. Sigh. There goes $200.

Karen G.: I have one word after: Awkward! I really tired to find a comfy position on the AbCircle but nothing feels right. I put my device in front of a mirror to make sure I was using it right and yes I look good but no it just does not feel right. Now i have to pay close to 40 bucks each month for half a year for something I am not gonna use wished i read the review here first.

tanya ramirez: AbCircle is a decent core workout but it is NOT an overall cardio workout, as it claims. They say you will lose weight from using his but i didn’t have that experience at ALL. i have to give it a thumbs down, becuase i expected something that i never did get.

Carla V.: The meal plans that came with my AbCircle are great, i have been following that I lost a 3 pounds last week. The device however is a little challenging for me, it’s really not as easy as the DVD makes it look. BUt you kno what no one sees me so I am gonna try it until it makes sense and until I get that V back not a pear shape.

Teddy: I like the video where it shows the guy with the big stomach at the beginning of using Abcircle and then it just gets tighter and tighter and before you know it he’s as lean as I want to be, so it’s slower and harder than I thought, this exercise is no day at the beach, that’s for sure, but I’m sticking with it so my abs look like that guys, if that fatso can do it, so can I.

Christa: Several months ago I read this review on the AbCircle and was curious about the belt it was talking about. I looked into that, and hte electronic muscle stimulaton, found the FLex Belt. Not to rub it in, but from the sounds fo the comments, I;m glad I went for that! I’ve been using this for almost three months and have lost 6 inches of fat frommy waist! Its easier to use too, if you’re not happy wiht this, check out the flex belt. I never would’ve known about it if it werent for this website.

Paige: My daughter was over for dinner a couple of nights ago, she just turned 40, how can that be? and we were talking about what happens when you get older, and she said women all get bellies, and I said well I don’t have one, and she pulled up my shirt and poked my stomach, and she said, “MOM, you so do to have a belly” and she’s right so I ordered the AbCircle like the NEXT day, and in only that little bit of time, maybe a week or so, I’m seeing my stomach TRULY disappear, and I’m getting nice and tight again, like before I had the child, so in a few more weeks she’s gong to see the ever better me, and she’d better not be tugging at my clothes again…she’s going to be very surprised!

celeste: Well, the Abcircle is at least smaller and easier to store (or send back LOL) than the Malibu Pilates Chair was. That thing was big and cumbersome and it barely even worked my core muscles. Ditto so far wiht the AbCircle. I feel like a lot of these ab apparatuses are rip offs.

Garth: No, it is NOT as easy or quick as they make it sound. I was using the Ab Circle every day,for 3 minutes and got a little sore, maybe a little more toned, but the massive fat loss they promised, never happened. Not even after 5 months, and by then it was waytoo late fo ra refund.

Tess: for me the Ab Circle wass a waste of time and money. I would much prefer to go to the gym where I can socialize or outside in the sunnshine. These machines are all a waste.

Kelly: And I thought the Turbo jam was hard!! Turbo Jam was easy compare to the Ab Circle, I am gonna stick with it though, I think it’s something that you just need to keep using to see result. Judy: So the ad for AbCircle says a 360 workout, but I don’t think that’s really the truth, you sure don’t go around in any kind of true circle, and all that going back and forth gives me vertigo, so I don’t think this is the thing for me…my ears are out of whack enough all ready.

Christa: It’s not as expensive as the Ab Circle! I got my Flex belt from here theflexbelt.com . Like I said, I love this thing, my abs have never looked so good. I am at a level 45 I started at level 2 and it goes to over 100. I just put it on it does the rest it really works.

Aaron Ure: We have had our AB circle for just over a week with the whole family of four practicing on it only to find out that it has started cracking already. As for the claim that it is easy to use, I still have indentations in my knees from the bolts in the memory foam. A big dispointment.

I refuse to believe that this or any other piece of exercise equiptment doesn’t work, I believe its how hard you want to try and stick with it. Rolanda: I just received my Ab Circle in the mail 3 days ago and I have to say that so far I think it’s great!! It is a lot harder than I initially expected but I am already feeling it in my obliques, which have alwayd been a big problem area with me… I plan to use it consistently over the next along with a sensible diet plan of my own… I will report back with my results then!!! Angie: I live in Australia and just received my ab circle. In conjunction with leg magic I love them both. If you follow a sensible diet plan or lifestyle change, dont go extreme just be sensible and do these workouts and add a bit you will see results, I dont have a lot to loose so am lucky but after two weeks allready see a body shape difference, I have gone from 30inch waist to 28 so far so I am wrapped, dont seem to be loosing a lot of weight but think I am gaining muscle, it is an investment in your health and you have to admit anyone that thinks these things will work on their own is nuts, you have to work at being body beautiful and fit you cant work out for three minutes a day and htink you will look like the pics surely. I think they are great and its my little bit of sanity from a busy family life. Maybe I will hit the gym when my bod is the way I want it, I am aiming for maybe four months and see how its going. Imagen: Well I ordered my AbCircle last week, and according to UPS it’s supposed to arrive some time today. I’ve seen many more negative reviews on this site than I did before I ordered, but I’m not worried. Here are my thoughts so far… First off, you can tell from looking at the commercials that it isn’t a full aerobic workout. While I think it will be a great addition to any current cardio regimen, it won’t be a fix-all. Next, while I see that the commercial says you can tone with just 3 min. a day, I think it’s safe to say that the longer you try it, the better (or more) results you’ll get. I think I’m going to start with 10 to 15 min. per day, along with my 30 min. pilates/salsa workout for a total of 45 min. I saw in one review that getting knee pads will help with the discomfort. I’m also going to try with and without to see if this helps. Finally, you do have to change a bit of your lifestyle if you really want to see results. It’s not enough to simply work out on a machine a few times a week. You have to alter your eating habits, include cardio in your routine, drink plenty of water and get plenty of rest. There are several factors involved with weight gain and weight loss (your water weight, body fat percentage, stress & hormones, age, gender and even race are factors, as some races are more prone to weight gain based on heredity and habits than others). One machine can’t possibly take care of all of those factors. So for those who called it awkward (excluding the guy who was 6′4″) or said it was too hard to do and still have it, perhaps making a few adjustments to your lifestyle and the way you use the machine could help. Give the knee pads a try, add some cardio to your routine and try eating healthier. Remember that if all you do is tone, then all you’ll end up with is toned muscle under fat. You need cardio to get rid of the fat. I’m going to be doing this 45 min. workout in combination with slim fast twice a day, a better multi-vitamin and more veggies. I’m gearing up for a wedding in Oct. and want to look fabulous. I’ll stop back by after about 2 or 3 weeks and let you know how it’s going!

megan: there are pros and cons with this machine while i dont think it makes for a complete body work out as advertised it is GREAT for the mid section the buns and thighs converter is just another wow factor they use to get you to buy it doesnt really work for me the knee pads split the first day i called and they reshipped another set over all id its just used for the abs its a pretty good machine but thats as far as it goes

nellie: I tried the ab circle but it did not do me justice! But my twin sister Debbie has tried it and she said she can do it but she kind of has a problem staying on because her thighs would get so sweaty and she would slip off, maybe straps would help cause her husband took bungee cords and straped her to it some how and it was fine!!! The only problem she has had oneday he strapped her down and went outside to mow and it was a few hours later when he remembered she was strapped to the ab circle. So, I really just don’t know what to say about it all. But good luck hope it works for you!!!

Susan Y.: Sorry, I didn’t think the Ab Circle worked my abdominals as much as advertised and, it was sorta awkward to use it. Im trying to figure out what to do with it now. its too late to try & return it. Seems like someone might like it better than me. I’m much happer with the way my tummy looks since using the Flex Belt that all you have been talking about, well its just been alittle under 3 weeks since I got it and im combining wearin that along with cardio (jogging or bicycling) and already lost a couple inches. I’d rahter be outdoors than inside on a machine anyhow, can’t say I’m mad I tried the abcircle but, much happier with the flex belt.

JoMaris: I ordered the AB Circle today. Even after reading all the reviews I am excited. I ordered over the phone and received a 30% discount making it about $145.00 + S&H since I paid for it outright. I also bought a one year warranty for $19.95. There is a 60 day return policy. It is obvious to see in the infomercial that this is not a complete work out and is target specific. I have a home gym and will contunue to work out adding this as another tool in my quest to be thin again. I do have a total gym, a Gazelle and the leg master – which I hated in the beginning and now love. Tenacity does have its rewards. I will let you know how it works out. Also I found a phone number on the web site under customer care- I waited only about 3 minutes before reaching a customer service agent.

Tana: i was wondering if anyone followed a diet plan while using the ab circle? If anyone has one for sale I would like to try it.

beckers: Thanks Eliza for the fine print info! Also thanks to the split knee pads postings, I don’t plan on getting the ab circle. I figured it sounded to good to be true.

Sharon: I ordered an AbsCircle Pro and began the wait to get it. It came to me from the factory so badly damaged that it was unusable, and the nightmare began! I called and they said they would email me a return postage form and that I should call UPS and scedule a pickup. What they DIDN’T tell me was that it takes them 24 to 48 hours until you “might probably” get it via email. Then the first person I spoke to said that as soon as UPS scanned the mail form, they would send out another one to me. The next person I spoke to said that it was my responsibility to call them to order another one and tell them the damaged on had been shipped. She then said I needed to give UPS 24 hours to process the pick up and then they would ask UPS if they got it or not and then they would send another one out. I wish I would have read this first. I got no discount, no real help. This just became my problem with another two week wait for the product to arrive. I told them I had fulfilled my promise to them and they were putting all the responsibility on me, AND another two week wait and their response was that I should be happy because they hadn’t charged me full price for the product yet, (I allowed as how that was decent since I didn’t HAVE the product yet!) and that once I got it I had time to use it and then decide whether or not I wanted it. I asked what that had to do with the difficulty I was now addressing and she had no answer. I asked for overnight shipping and they would not do that under any circumstances. So now I have 6 weeks in waiting, and I am well on my way to loosing the weight I wanted by walking and eating better. Now that I know the knee pads crack and are not comfortable, and that it is not for tall people, once of which I am, I can only say I wish I would have read this sooner. A company without good customer service cannot make a good enough product in my opinion and this is not a good product to begin with.

Robyn: Well I was definitely considering purchase the AbCircle until seeing the totals of thumbs up vs. thumbs down. I think I’ll wait a couple of months and try to purchase for much less on either Ebay or Amazon after all the fed up people decide to sell for a great price. Well all you thumbs down people get to selling on those sites so I can start bidding for much less.

ron: I HAVE THE AB CIRCLE PRO, JUST ONE WEEK AND SEE FLAKING WHERE THE ROLLERS CONTACT THE MACHINE,I JUST CAN’T BELIEVE IT

Renee: I received the ab circle about 2 weeks ago. The machine seems to really work the abs BUT my knees are in so much pain, for over 200.00 with shipping they could have put more cushion in the knee pads. I called to get the rma# to send it back and the rep tells me that people who have called in about the same problem have been told to put sponges or damp washclothes for more cushion ( i dont think so ). Oh did I mention that I had to pay 40.00 to send it back. I would not recommend this machine to anyone until they add more cushion….

Mark: To any of the people on this blog that want to buy one these used ABCircles from the other posters, I would recommend against that. These things are nothing but junk mass-produced in China. Not only do these things fall apart, but they will ruin your knees and give you back problems. Plus, you will be out of at least $80+ and hours of your time wasted in dealing with customer no-service and the return of it.

Lori: I have had the Ab Circle for one week and been using it two to three times daily. So far I am not sore at all in the abdominal area, only in my neck and my knees.

Leanne: well, FYI i ordered a used AbCircle from someone offering to sell theirs like you all are talking about, but i never received it. It’s now been 5 weeks and I’ve resigned myself to the fact that I probably never willl receive it. i would say don’t be too quick to buy from some “third party” esp. if you dont really know them. If i was gonna order this in the future, i would just go with the company…but really, based on some of the stuff i am reading here, i don’t think it’s worth it. I think I’m just going to keep looking for somehting better.

Mark: Well, I just have to let everybody know that the best workout I got from this ABcircle crapparatus was packing it back up and loading it into the trunk of my car. It cost me $20 to ship it back to the company. Add that to the $14.95 trial and the cost of them shipping it to me ($34.95), all of which is non-refundable, and I’m out $70 plus my time in dealing with the hassle. I think this scam outfit is making money on the shipping costs the consumer pays. Not to mention this piece of junk was made in China and they probably only paid pennies on the dollar to produce it. Please do not put yourselves through what I had to go through, not to mention the pain in my knees and back now from using this thing.

Noreen: I didn’t look here before ordering mine a few days ago. I’m not worried though, I think it’s good to try things. I have scoliosis, so it will be interesting to see if it hurts my back. I do have an ab lounger and like that – I was looking for something different, a little fun?? I’ll come back and let you know how I make out once I receive it.

Rachel K: I got the ACP a few days ago. It is VERY bulky and it does NOT fit under a bed. It is uncomfortable to use and the butt and thigh option is useless. Thankfully I bought during a 60 day guarantee promotion. In the end, I am losing $70 in shipping – that is no joke. Do not bother with this machine. If you need to lose some on your waist, go to a zumba class or buy the videos and do the workout at home. It is cheaper and a lot more effective. – AbCircle

Nancy: I bought the Ab Circle and so far I like it, but I haven’t seen great results as of yet, losing 10 pounds in 2 weeks, not yet, and it will be two weeks tomorrow, I lost more like 3 pounds. It’s harder to use then I thought, but it’s ok. It did come missing the back feet, and I need a number to call to have them send me the feet. If anyone has that number please let me know. I do like it so far, I’ll give it a bit more time before I give up! Does it cost $200? I thought it was $149,900.. I hope!

Carl: The concept of the Ab Circle is good, and it definitely exercises my core in a new and powerful way. But the construction is flimsy. After a few minutes per day for a couple of weeks, the knee pads have cracked. It is a poorly constructed machine from China that looks good but seems to fall apart very easily. Sorry to say, a scam.

Kathleen: I just watched the commercial and then found your website and read some negative comments. I thought it was too bad I couldn’t think of some easier (cheaper) way to get a workout. I then knelt on the swivel chair here at the computer and held on to the sturdy desk and rotated easily similar to the TV ad. The chair is sturdy but well padded and it swivels easily. If I continue this, I will let you know what the result is. So far, this actually feels good and the cost is zero.

Chuck: I purchased the Ab Circle and my daughter And I worked out with it for two weeks. I am returning the product because one knee pad split and the other became loose. If you have knee problems, this product may not be for you because the pressure on the kneecap during the workout. I think the product works, but you will need to workout for a longer period of time than advertised to get any results. I have no adversion to working out for long periods of time. Again, I’m returning the product because it didn’t hold up to normal use. I think it needs some upgrade in the design and material quality.

Kathleen: It took a little longer of using the Ab circle before my knee pads wore out, than what Chuck says, but maybe its because, it was just me using the thing. Just over a month,I think. Not comfortable to use, and for all that discomfort, I didn’t see improvment i my abs during that time. Only slight. And Thunderbird is rgiht, there are more products that do work, I was almost ready to, just go back to sit-ups but wanted to try the flex belt, since it had such high ratings. AWESOME! I can feel my muscles contracting when i wear it, and they get sore afterwards. I’m slimming down, finally!

KP: FYI…For those of you who were wondering about the wieght limit for the AB Circle, it is 275 pounds. I emailed customer care and they responded within 24 hours.

EAA: I love my Igallop to strengthen my abs, back, sides and the whole torso. Every morning, I spedn 10 mins with Igallop and 10 mins. on the stationary bike- and both provides the strength. And, when I add the 30 mins brisk walking, I start to lose lbs. And, later I will start a sensible diet. Also, when I over eat, I would get on the igallop for 10 mins before going to bed, and walla next morning there is no bulging belly. I saw the Abcircle and I thought it would be a good addition and really bring it up another notch and see more of the v-shape and six pack abs. I think the portability of abcircle is a big plus when I go to Vegas after the big buffets. Owners of the abcircle should take it slow to gain torso muscle strength and start at 1 or 2 mins and increase as one gains more strength. It takes time and discipline to produce long lasting results. good luck to all abcircle owners….

Karen: I have purchased the AbCircle Pro and I have had to send the first one back because the way they designed it. There are little screws that are mounted to the plastic round piece on the bottom…those are turning white and cracking, as well as chipping out. I am getting ready to send the second one back (it is doing the same thing) to get a refund. I am really bummed, because I enjoyed using it everyday for 20 minutes a day and have seen great results.

John Harrel: People, this is not a be all end all solution to a daily workout. You will have to still go to the gym. It is meant to compliment a gym workout. You can not continue to eat pizza and donuts and expect to see results.

She could not answer any of the questions I had with regards to their return policy. She simply stated ” you just need to follow the directions provided in the box.” Good luck though to all who are using it – since I am at least 40 lbs overweight; I am afraid I may break it due to the poor construction.

JoMaris: OK – a couple of quick fixes. I just received mine. So far I like it. I just trashed my knee the other day so I put wash clothes in the knee pad area. I also found that since I have it at the highest level that if I turned the knee pads around so they are upside down it work perfectly and you don’t slide out. Totally comfortable.

Yvette: So far i have only gone thru the ordering process…which so far has taken 3 weeks! it took two weeks for AbCircle to tell me that they could not ship to a PO box and it has taken 1 week for them to change my address (which still hasn’t been done). every time i call they tell me it will ship in 24-48 hours (that was 3 weeks ago…that’s a lot of 24-48 hours!!). Now with this last time i called, they told me that if they cannot get my address changed, they will give me a full refund and it will be up to me to decide whether or not to place another order…what great customer service, belief in the product and salesmanship! all i can say is if i get a refund, i won’t be placing another order! – AbCircle

Art: The construction on this Ab Circle thing is no good. I’ve had it for 2 weeks and the platic circle is already showing signs of wear and tear. There are two small cracks on it. I don’t think it’s worth the money it costs. In those two weeks I haven’t seen or felt any results.

Alice: Ive had the Ab circle for about a month now and I really like it. I use it every morning faithfully and I have lost 1 inch off my waist. It took time to put the inches on and it will take a little time to get it off so hang in there it does work.

Charisse: It is always interesting to watch the infomercials when it comes to weight loss. I love to see the before and after photos and want to know how they did it. I saw the AB CIRCLE infomercial this morning and from the getgo, I could tell that this product would not be good on knees. Ab Circles goal is to make money. If you order the product and are busy like me, 9 times out of 10 you are not going to take the time to pack up the product and send it back in time to get a refund; therefore, you are stuck with it! I am sure that is what the company hope for. They sit down in a board room, think of a product that would appeal to people, make a few bucks and move to the next product. Does the name “RED” ring a bell to anyone? It seems the Ab Cirle is made by the same company. It started to break after being used for 10 minutes. If you notice, all weightloss aparatus comes with instructions on what to eat; “balanced diet”. The bottom line is, we all want a “get slim quick” method. In reality, we have to eat what God made; fruits and veggies, protein, grains, drink plenty of water, walk for at lest 30 minutes a day, get plenty of rest, and the weight will eventually come off. God did not say it would be easy!

I was also at the point of just calling to find out how much the total price of this thing would be and…presto! it’s expensive as I had suspected; this being confirmed when I checked out the product’s web site… I decided to look online first and not call in order to avoid pressure and the famous sales pitch. It worked! No deal for me on this item. I’ll go to doing crunches with a simple door device that holds on to my ankles while I do sit ups.

Rebecca: Okay… no exercise is supposed to be easy, thats why if you do it right it is hard and burns but then you get the results. I just got my Ab Circle and used in for three minutes and my arms and abs already feel tighter and worked out. It was awkward of course but anything aside from sitting on the couch can be awkward if you are out of shape like me. I am 248 lbs and would like to lose 80 lbs and if I want to really accomplish it I am going to have to workout and eat right. If you are too short or too tall it may be even more awkward and in that case you should look into something that is more adjustable. The Ab Circle is obviously designed for average height people, unforunately. I am 5′2″ and it just barely fits me. One other issue that I do have with it is the knee cups could be softer. My fat knees almost don’t fit and the pressure of my weight on my knees becomes tiresome quickly but thats called being overweight, not a machine design flaw. Luckily you don’t have to be on this thing long so that takes care of that issue. When you are overweight and out of shape things are not going to be comfortable or easy; thats just a fact of life. If you want to loose wieght there is no easy way to do it; its called a workout people and thats what keeps off the weight. Everyone is looking for an easy weight loss solution and that is the most rediculous notion ever. You actually have to try hard and you have to put down the huge meal portions. Now, I am not going to give it a thumbs up until I have time to use it more (this is day one) and do more measurements to see results but I would not call it a thumbs down. Like I said, my arms and abs already feel it, this is a good sign.

Michelle: Hello all, I contacted C-service a few days ago to inquire about the workmanship and return polich. The man who helped me was just that helpful. If he was unsure of a answere he would stop and double check. I asked about the knee balls and that other damage that I saw reported on the site just to see if he was knowledgable about his product. I also inquired aobut he return policy. The man I taled to appeard to have a genuine desire to help me. I received my Ab Circle Pro today, I took in down stairs and unpacked it. It was ealy to asemble and while I do see how the plastic circle could potentially be a problem I think is deserves a fair shake. 1st of all most of the negative comments have been added by people who has not tried the machine. I used it for just three minuest I did feel a workout in my mid-section. I have not got the handle adjustment down and think that I will change the handle height for different workouts. I also have an eliptical which I am using and plan to incorperate the AB circle as part of my daily work out. several yrs ago I lost 40 lbs by exercising daily and drinking slim-fast. Over the time I put the weight back on due to a demanding work and family schedule. I have made a commitment to devote 1 hour to getting my body back in shape and will use the AB Circle as part of that plan. It is natural to be skeptical especially if there is a big price tag attached however, If you have not tried it I would not submit a negative post it creates a false perception. Felicia: I got my Abcircle about three weeks ago and started to use it a few days later. After the second day of using it, I was ready to return it. When we contacted the company to return it, they offered incentives and were willing to refund us $80 if we would keep the product. We were uncomfortable with the lack of sturdiness of the equipment and our knees would throbb after using it for one minute. Moreover, the DVD package is cheap and the workout was a joke. Someone needs to report the company for selling junk. It’s unfortunate that I can only use one thumb-down to describe what I think about the product. I wish I could use the thumbs of everybody (and their big toes) who commented on the product (up, down and undecided), to give the product a corporate thumb-and-big-toe down. They should be ashamed of themselves for selling this junk.

dawn marriott: dear makers of abcirlepro i love my new work out machine. i feel alot better about my new daily work out routine. The only thing i might suggest is that maybe you should add Dr.Shulz gel inserts to the knee Bowls. The main exercise of swinging back and forth is not bothering my knee’s, it’s when i remove the pin to do the other exercise that is rubbing my knee’s raw to the point of bleeding and being very sore. So as crazy as this sounds, i cut in half an old gel bra of mine and tied it around my knee that is bothering me and the rubbing is gone as well as the soreness. Just a suggestion:) Other wise I love it and the results are becoming very obvious. ive only had it for a week in a half and its my favorite workout with the results i wanted thank you sooooo much for this invention. I give it an 8 its the best. its the mose positve thing that has happend for me i would reccamend it to all my frineds.

Kendra McKay: I love this product more than any other ab machine I’ve ever used. Losing the ‘muffin top’ is my main goal. I don’t feel much burn when I’m using the Circle, but when I try to do regular crunches afterwards for my upper abs, I instantly feel ants! I feel amazing…. It’s great for my core and my swim suit self-esteem!

Julie A,: Well i must say i don’t have raves for the Ab Circle. I don’t want to sound negative but I agree that it is poorly built, uncomfortbale the knee cups were uncomfortable and over all i felt the movement was awkward. Worst of all is the fact that this is supposed to work for both cardio and core toning and that was not the case. i thought this could be combined as my total exercise so i stopped doing my daily walks to save time. Well what happehed was my weight loss came to a complete stand still. I think this is just another “gimmick” for people who want to “have it all ” and have it come easy. It would be great if it delivered on that promise, but for me, it didn’t/.

Noreen: Hi – just letting you know… I’ve had mine for a couple of weeks and actually LIKE it. I bought it because I was getting bored with using the AbLounge. I have a bad back and the Ab Circle doesn’t bother it at all. It did hurt my knees when I first started it, but not anymore. I have fun using it! I don’t use it every day as I like to use a variety of equipment/exercises.

Jenny: I have not yet purchased the Ab Circle and even with all of the negative comments, I am very close topushing that “purchase” button. For all of you who want to send it back and bash it because you stopped the rest of your exercise and didn’t change your diet and are mad that you didn’t lose tons of weightwith your first workout, wake up. Nothing works like that. For all of you who say to read the fine print about sending it back, tell others to read the fine print about the work out. It clearly says that those people who lost eight inches,e tc in two weeks…CHANGED thier eating habits. You can go to the better business bureau but you have to have back up and hard evidence that this company is ripping you off. Since no one has done that yet, I am under the assumption that this company must really not be that bad. I would advise against Ebay-you never know what you will get there. I could go on for days on how dumb i have been purchasing things from there. Plus some of those things are going for almost $300 or more. Just use your head and your own judgement on what you can and cannot afford to spend your money on. I will still buy ab circle Pro and if it doesn’t work, it is no ones fault but my own for purchasing it!

sellenia: I have had my ab circle now for 3 weeks and with combining my diet (adkins diet) and using the ab machine 20mins every day along with other excersize i Have lost 9-1/2 pounds and 2inches of my waist not to mention YES my core is getting stronger!!! You have to work the program that suits you best personally in order to get results no lie!!!

I agree its not a complete body workout but to those who really think you can get a full body work out in 3 minutes a day must not work out often at all. Lettie: I love it. I am a 62 year old woman currently wearing a size 14 – 16. I have only had it for 3 weeks but I just love it. I put on Etta James singing “Something Got A Hold of Me” and I work, work it. It is just too much fun. I will be doing an assessment in 2 months. This weight that I put on took over 10 years so I don’t expect to be back to a size 10 – 12 in 3 weeks. The Ab Circle works my arms, as well as my abs and I also feel it in the top of my buttocks as well as down the side of them. All I have to say is “Burn Baby Burn.” Oh, I also try to work out 3 times a week using my other exercise equipment.

april: I think the ab circle is ok so far. i have had it about 3 weeks now, but have lost about 3 inches. i don’t know how fast your suppose to lose inches but i’m thinking that’s really good for me.I’ve lost a few pounds, but not the 10 pounds in 2 weeks granteed like showed. I think that the ab circle is worth keeping and trying a little longer by the way i work out 15-20 mins a day. I think that i will also try the slim fast twice a day and still work my abs.

Sean: Ok, this review is a complete joke. You can not compare the Ab Circle or any other Ab workout machine to these stupid belts. The belts ONLY work if you do NOT have a layer of fat over the top of your ab muscles. If they would have researched the belts a bit more before making their uninformed post, they would mention that. As for the Ab Circle, its quick and easy. It is not without its’ flaws, such as, it takes some getting used to, the first 2 resistance levels are to easy, just jump to the 3rd, the paint flakes after the first couple usages and your knees will take some getting used to in the pads. I’n the end, if you don’t have a lot of extra time, then I would give the Ab Circle a try.

Sabrina: Not sure why the Ab circle isn’t working for me but it’s been 2 weeks and no weight loss 4 me and no definition. I don’t use it everyday, perhaps 3-4 times a week apparently it’s not enough. I I am gonna try 6-7 days next week and see if i get better results but so far, I am not so happy.

I then tried the swivel chair method while holding on to my sturdy desk and WaLa! It worked! I swiveled for 10 minutes – felt like I got a decent work for the middle part of my body – and my knees feel fine because my chair is well-cushioned and how much did it cost me? $-0-. The rest of you ought to give it a try!

Kelly: I decided to try the ab circle pro out. I am 35 and physically fit. I do not need to lose weight, just wanted an alternative to sit ups. First of all, the machine is not made of heavy duty material, therefore it slides across the floor. Pretty easy assembly b/c of the lightweight materials used. I did the suggested 3 minutes and felt nothing. I went on about my business and in about an hour my back began to throb with pain. I lived the next four days on a heating pad and pain relievers. I am no stranger to exercise, I just think this motion is not natural to ones body. It completely through my back out of line. The option to work your inner thighs is a joke. It offers no resistance. You can get the same effect by opening and shutting your legs. Now for the MONEY. You try this thing for $14.95 PLUS the shipping of $34.50. Then once you are injured, you decide to return it. Well it cost another $70.00 for me to return. So the $14.95 try it thing – is a rip off. I paid $119.00 plus pain medication to try something the hurt me. I will NEVER buy an exercise device without trying it first. When I called to return it, the customer service rep offered me a discount of $35.00 if I decide to keep it. Yeah right, for me to injure myself with? No deal. Instead I choose to get screwed by sending it back for someone elses discomfort. Now my husband did try it also. He does need some help around the middle due to his diabetes. He said it did nothing for him and once he saw the pain that I was in, he refused to try it again. Who can lay out of work b/c an exercise piece of crap hurt them. I can’t b/c I have to pay to send this torture device back! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, ENERGY OR MONEY. The people on the show may have thought it was a good idea. I would like to see ALL of them an hour later when the pain sets in. DO NOT PURCHASE – SAVE YOUR MONEY.

Chelsey: I got my ab circle pro and was really excited to start using it. After putting it together I tried it out and didn’t feel anything in my abs at all. It killed my knees! The next day I tried it again and in the middle of my workout my knees slipped out of the knee holder things and I flew off of it and hit my ribs on the knee holder. I had to go to the doctor the next day to see if I had broken a rib! Luckily, I didn’t!! It’s been 2 weeks since and my rib still kills and my knees are still bruised!! I’m sending the piece of crap back!! Don’t waste your time or money!! Just do a normal exercise and eat right. This is a total joke and not worth it!! By the way I have lost 16lbs by eating healthy and walking every night. There is no quick fix for being a fatty (I can say fatty because as of 2 months ago I was almost 200lbs) it takes dedication and effort. Good luck to all my fellow fatties!! We can do it!!

Marilyn: I saw this abcircle on TV and thought that it looked like something I would use and enjoy using. I was really going to buy it, but after reading the comments, I have decided against it. I will wait until they make necessary improvements and receive better comments.

Keri: I just got mine, and am excited about it. I am already fit, but at 40, am looking for something to get rid of that extra bit of flesh that creeps out above the top of low rise jeans (aka hips). I think it will be very effective although my goal is not to utilize this as a means of weight loss. I do elliptical several times a week as well. My stomach is flat. I am just trying to lose the love handles, and don’t enjoy doing any ab work. I think this if fun, although I find it difficult to do from an upper body strenght standpoint. My arms begin to tire from holding myself up on the thing, so I might only do it through one song on my iPod at a time, and then come back and do another 2-3 minutes, here and there. I had a friend put it together, so I am not sure what setting I am on. I have been trying to do at least 6-10 minutes a day for the past three days. Will post in one more week to give an update on progress… Also: I do not find any flaw with the quality construction of the product as some had mentioned. The knee spaces are perfectly comfortable to me. I cannot see how this cannot be an effective means of working your core.

Kim: i saw this being advertised and I thought There is no way that just three minutes a day is going to do anything,even with dieting. It sounds like this is the case. I also wondered about my knees. I am willing to be committed and work hard to improve my physical appearence, however I also belive that telling the truth about a product when it is being sold would be much more appealing and satifying to the costumer. Lets face it, staying inshape does take a lifetime of hard work and commitment. I would rather here someone tell me I need to work out on this 10-20 minutes a day to see good results than have someone say oh Ya three minutes is all you need. the expatations of the costomer and the honesty of the retailer have to be on the same page.perhaps if the pitch was changed accordingly, there would be alot more thumbs up.

Jo Ann: I am a 56 yr.old woman who had a stomach the size of a 7mo pregnant woman. Large stomachs run in my family and have always been told that since it’s genetic there’s little hope of me losing it. My legs, thighs and buttocks have always been fine but not my stomach. Even though I read the bad reviews posted, I still bought the machine to give it “my” try. I have had the machine for about 3 1/2 weeks and I notice a difference already. I use it just a little differently then what they suggest. I use it twice a day instead of once. I use it morning and night, after all we only have to use it 3 mins! More of course if we want. I also hold my stomach and buttocks tight when I swing and I use side to side with my waist rather then my knews as I see it is easy to do. Unfortunately I did not take before pictures or I could show you the results so far. My stomach is noticeably smaller and my pants are more lose. As for the raw knees, I put wash clothes on the pads and do not do the exercise without long pants covering my knees. It makes a big difference. I will come back and write another comment after another month to see if it has helped me further. Oh and I haven’t changed my eating habits all that much except that the tightenning of my stomach has caused me to eat smaller portions and I feel fuller faster now. Hopefull in Lancaster…Jo Ann

Nancy: The TV commerical is misleading and it should be changed regarding the delivery within one week. The order form on-line specifies that delivery will take 3 weeks due to a high volumn of requests. I called customer service on Friday, June 19. They were very polite and stated that orders from the first of June were now being shipped. I ordered on June 6th, so mine will probably arrived at the 3 weeks. I suggest you call customer service, the number is on the website and perhaps from now on, you should stick to buying in your local stores.

Missy: I’ve had mine about a week and love it. I don’t need to lose weight but just tone up. The only negative thing I’ve found was the uncomfortable knee pads, but after a week of using it every day, I don’t even notice them being uncomfortable anymore. I would definately recommend it.

Michelle: I’ve had my Ab Circle for 18 days and have used it 10-15 minutes per day every day. I’m just starting to notice some improvement in my abdomen area. The paint is chipping off badly. I got mine from HSN.com for $199.95 free shipping and handling. Your knees will hurt; I bought some heel insoles for shoes and stuck them on the knee holders. Plus you may want to turn the knee holders backwards to prevent you from slipping out of them. I called Ab Circle customer service and they say it’s HSN’s responsibility to send me a new one because of the paint chip problem and HSN says it’s Ab Circle Pro’s responsibility to send me a new one. So I’m in limbo right now waiting to see what is going to be done about the problem. $200.00 and after 18 days the paint is chipping off, which makes for a bumpy ride. So far I really like it, it’s fun for me, and I definitely want a replacement; although I’m not seeing the fast results promised; I’m willing to hang in there a while longer.

QNP: This equipment didn’t do a thing for me except cause lower back pains! The company is a total scam as well. The only way you can return the product is call to get the RMA number. When you call, the number is either busy with a message saying all circuits are busy and so the call doesn’t even go through, or it does go through but you’re put on hold up to 10 minutes listening to their advertisement, and then it would disconnect. It took me 4 calls totalling more than 30 minutes to finally get through to a customer rep to receive the RMA number. – AbCircle

kjohn: I have had mine for two weeks and haven’t had any problems with it as far as structure paint, etc. I have had knee surgery and don’t find the knee pads painful. However, some of your weight is supported by hands/arms, which made me sore the first week. I am still only doing 3 minutes a day, but plan on adding another minute. I have lost 4 lbs, but I have been dieting as well, so I can’t contribute it to the Abcircle, as most weightloss take dieting and exercise, or at least more than 3 minutes of exercise. However, I do notice a difference in my waist and wish i had taken measurements before I started. I am actually glad I bought it, and will use it at least 3 more months before parking it in the garage next to my exercise bike!

Michelle: Update on my chipping paint problem…not only is the paint chipping off, but now after 21 days of use, I have serious chunks coming out of the red plastic disc. Pretty soon the plastic disc will just crack I feel and the machine will be completely unusable. Fortunately I got this from HSN.com and they have superior customer service. They are paying for UPS to pick up this defective piece of equipment and sending out a replacement for me, no charge. By the way, I weigh 110 lbs. so this isn’t from too much weight on the machine, this is a definite defect. going to try to put some kind of track on top of the plastic to prevent this from happening again. charivari66: something is seriously wrong the Ab Circle’s official webpage. The before and after pictures are for different people not the same person. All of the testimonial people have play buttons over their mouths. The before and after picture imply that the Ab Circle alone drastically reduced body size. WE ALL KNOW THIS IS NOT TRUE! Last, there is a before and picture of 2 dresses without the person wearing the dress and the dresses are different.

Kelly: I am overall happy with the abcircle. I’ve added it to my already existing exercise program which includes running (3-5 miles daily), lifting weights (10-15 mins 3xwk), and the exercise ball for ab crunches alternating with abcircle. This machine takes some time to get use to and is not necessarily good for someone who is an intermittent exerciser/beginner. I’ve found it to be a very good “adjunct” to my already existing workout routine. I’m sure most of the negative comments are from people who are looking for a quick fix and not necessarily a life-time commitment. Add it to your “already existing” exercise program and I am sure you will find it beneficial.

Ramon: Hi everyone: First when u select “thumbs down”, it means that you have tried the product and you didn’t like it (not that somebody convince you that the product doesn’t work). You use a question mark for that. Is a shame that this even has to be said. My nine year old daughter can reason that. You are creating a false image of the product. I can’t just look at the ratings because more than half of the negative feedback is from people that haven’t even tried it. I ordered one today and I can’t wait to give it a shot. Tish: I have had the ab circle for 30 days and i fit on it good, my knees don’t hurt, and i watch t.v and i’m on it for about an hour a day. If you really want to lose inches and get your abs tight it has to be continuous. I work my thighs and buttox just like the cd states not just work on one thing.This machine is not for kids to jump on and off of.If you buy one you will need to but another for your mate becouse when you start working you are not going to want to get off. I also run everyday and still do my regular workouts daily at the gym. This machine is great but if you want results you will have to put in a lot more effort. I love the ab Circle.

Jackie: In spite of bad reviews, I ordered the Ab Circle Pro from HSN. I’m a “show me” kind of girl I guess. I’ve had it for two weeks. First, I do not feel it working my abs or obliques. I have focused on those body parts to isolate them and have felt NO soreness at all in those portions of my body. I do have lower back and neck pain from it though. It does put strain on your neck and back. The knee pad are indeed uncomfortable. I use gel insoles AND wash cloths in them and they still are a bit uncomfortable. I find that the paint isn’t chipping off the circle, but the rollers are leaving plastic deposits on the circle which mean the rollers are wearing. The residue does wipe off with a towel, but it’s a constant hassle because if you don’t wipe it off, the wheels don’t roll on the circle smoothly. As a result, I would say it is not worth the money, it is poorly made and in my case does not work the muscles it advertises it works and puts strain on the neck, back and knees. I purchased mine from HSN and have 30 days to return it. It is going back as soon as I get back from my vacation next week. I like the concept, but this just isn’t ready for the consumer.

Iris: I have the AbCircle and have used it only twice. The first time I loved it and had to stop to get two wash towels for knee area. The second time I over used it, swinging from side to side and even unbuckling the rod in-between-knee pads to work on my inner thighs and hips. I did not feel any resistance but my hips enjoyed being work. The next day my back was truly sore. I have not been on it since. I thought I should see a doctor. My husband stated that all the fat on my back was not used to being jostled around. Now the back is not so sore and I will get on the AbCircle again with caution of back area. I did not know I had these muscles in the back. My hips loves it, my midback is truly worked. I will modify the work out and hope to gain strength in back area. Hope to lose love handles.

Mary: So far so good. I just received the Ab Circle yesterday and so far I like it! I feel it in my arms especially, but that may be because my arms are weak. But I am doing what the dvd says and it doesn’t hurt any part of my body, which is good. I was worried about it hurting my back but it actually makes it feel good. I hold my stomach in when I do the workout. Slow and easy when you first do it may help. If you move too fast it definitely moves. I am committed on doing it everyday. I have it in my home office where I am most of the time. So three to four times a day for five minutes at a time is 20 minutes. So I think that will produce results. I will keep it! Thanks!

g-dog: You have to tighten your core muscles for the Ab Circle to work. At first you wont be able to because you don’t have the muscle. Used properly yes it works. You don’t just get on and go back and forth and expect results. Any ab work requires the tightening of your CORE WHILE YOUR DOING THE EXERCISE. Whether it be Pilates, Hip Hop, Sit Ups. It’s getting your core muscle built up. Yes I am a personal trainer and I use it on my clients. Not just 3 mins either. 5-10 at least depending on what shape their in. As far as being comfortable. Exercise is not meant to be comfortable.

SOCON: I ordered the Ab Circle Pro over the past weekend. Of course I haven’t received it yet but I am very excited even if most of you are very negative and probably very lazy people. Many of you need to take some spelling and English courses before leaving any more comments. I can’t decipher most of what you’re trying to say. I used to own a Gazelle and LOVED it!I lost down to my pre-baby weight of 128 and was in a size 4, the smallest I’ve ever been as an adult because I was toned for the first time. I was never very active growing up, just naturally thin. I moved to a smaller house, so I don’t have room for it and have gained 30 pounds. Oh, I’ve tried everything from Curves to South Beach along with every piece of equipment that you can have. Nothing does the work for you and it has to a combination of diet and exercise. I’m at that point that even though I do sit at an office for 8-10 hours a day and am raising 2 teenage boys (with huge appetites), I’m ready to make a change. It’s a progressive thing though, you have to be ready to change your thoughts and your actions will follow. Did anyone ever hear ‘If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anthing at all’? I appreciate the warnings of the poor construction or bad customer service but all the others should be discarded. Yes, you can file a complaint against this company. I’m not sure if it’s with the Better Business Bureau, The Federal Trade Commission or another agency but instead of discouraging people that truly are ready to make a change, go through the proper channels. If they are in fact practicing ‘false advertising’ or trying to deceive the public, then they will be put out of business if you spend your time contacting the correct agency instead of sitting at your computer whining about your bad luck. Get up and go outside and enjoy some fresh air. It may give you all a fresh, new attitude too!! Oh, and by the way, I do own the Ab Belt and Skirt. I enjoy using both. I’ve experienced toning but very little inch loss and no weight loss. Good luck to anyone who buys them. Very well made and worth the investment. A little effort is better than none.

Bella05: After waiting 3 weeks to get my AbCirclePro I started using it immediately. I used it every day, worked up to 15 min. and on the 7th day and about 14 min. into my workout the knee pad broke off and sent my knee crashing down hard on the machine and landing on the floor! All I could do was cry, it hurt so bad! The next day I called the CS line and they were sympathetic and said they would ship out a new knee pad. My knee was badly bruised and I had nerve damage (went to Dr.) 6 wks later I was still not able to kneel on that knee. My husband urged me to send it back, as I was kinda scared to get back on it again anyway. I paid another $32.00 to ship it back to the company and it has been a month now and no credit has been issued yet. All in all I am out of pocket almost $80.00 in shipping charges (they don’t refund that) and am VERY unhappy with this company. If you decide to try it, make sure you check the screws EVERY time you get on to make sure they haven’t “wiggled” loose.

PJ: i ordered my machine Sunday from HSN and received an email that it will arrive Monday. It states it has a one year warranty so all the complaints on the rollers don’t concern me at this point. I’m discouraged by the negative remarks but will give it an honest try. My son needs it worse than I do so i am hoping to encourage him to use it. Please stop the negative comments unless you have some knowledge other than what you read. Jennifer: Just received 2 days ago. I am in shape, a runner but want some extra help to the abs. It is not a easy as it looks (I can only do 3 minutes at a time right now.) but that is good. I am getting the hang of it. I think it will work. A little tough on the knees. I read the negs and think, after trying that, some people want work-outs to be too easy. If you are not working you won’t burn cals.

Melly: I tried the ab circle and I must say that it will give you a workout but it was bad on my knees and it felt a little awkward. I’m a short person and it took a little more effort to hold on to the handle bars. I was having to hold on to the top part of the machine. I’m about 206lbs and it took more effort to get my body to swing. The rollers felt like they did not want to move smoothly. Unfortunately, I’m going to send it back. I hope some people have better luck than myself.

Wayne: I’ve read many of the reviews here and with the exception of the tall ones i must wonder where are these guys coming from. before starting any new excercise program you should do as much research as posible on how to be successful. Be honest how many of you that gave a bad rating actually changed your eating habbits? My guess is not many; some of us want a piece of exercise equiptment to be magical and melt off the fat with little or no help at all from you. Some of you probably don’t even realize that siting in your gut may be undigestable waste from all years of gorging beef and pork spare ribs. Detoxify your body with a proven method and then get your fat but off the couch and get started changing your life for the better. The ab circle pro does work, its working for me and it can work for you, you just simply have to add all the pieces of the puzzle together, EXERCISE,FITNESS, and NUTRITION no one thing does it all.

PJ: I received my machine and have used it the last two nights. I worked out 15min each night. I put a hand towel in the knee pads and my knees are only a tiny bit sore if you push on them, not bad. I can really feel the muscles in my back and sides so it is definitely working them. I’ve measured so will check again on 8/24 and update my results. The machine is not hard to use and seems very sturdy to me. My son is 205lbs and has no problem using it either. As a single working Mom I have no time for a gym. Based on only 2 days, I feel a slight tightening. So far, so good.

Rich: Although I think the ab circle does work, the quality of the product is in question. I have had the ab circle for less than three months and the knee pads have both split.They are shipping me two new pads, but how long are they going to last? They seem to want to sell you the extended warranties, knowing that the equipment is going to malfunction or be damaged from normal use.

grimlog: To any of you who post negative remarks: Either you are not doing correctly or you aren’t really using it. I just received mine and I am doing it now as I comment in between sets. I am sweating like a hog and my abs are burning!!!! So are my sides, back, and triceps….I also use the perfect push everyday. This ab circle works….so stop the bafoonary and get off your *ss and work it! Crunch your muscles while you go up and go slow to get the real work. I too can swing it back and forth for six hours, but if you use technique, you will burn the muscle. You need to tear muscle to make it stronger, then get good rest, and then do it again with good technique…perfect practice folks. Good protein and good carb diet and you will be shredded. I also use plasmajet and Gaspari protein along with cloud9 hgh precursors. So when I can wash my clothes on my abs and my wife invites her girlfriends to bed with us….I will laugh at all of you nay sayers!!!

Laurie: I find it interesting that a lot of you posters are using the thumbs down icon based on other people’s comments and when you haven’t even purchased the product yet. That really scews the ratio of positive to negative comments. If you throw out all thumbs up and thumbs down that are from people who haven’t bought the AbCircle yet, I think the positive reviews outweigh the negative ones. It’s a known fact that muscle weighs more than fat so some of you may even GAIN weight as you lose belly fat and rebuild abdominal muscle. So what if you have to throw in a sponge or two or wear knee pads. What do you expect for $200, something like what you see at the gym that costs $3000?

PJ: As promised I have had my Ab circle for 1 week. I worked out 15 min a night Mon-Fri and took a break over the weekend. I measured tonight and I can’t believe it but I am down 1/4inch on my hips and almost an inch at my waist. I have noticed that the knee pads need to be tightened every couple of days so that may be some of the problems with the complaints. I work up a good sweat and really do feel a difference in the tightness of my stomach. Make sure you twist with it to feel the burn in your sides. I’m pumped. I’m increasing to 20 minutes a night this week and will update again in a week. Keep at it. We didnt get out of shape in a few weeks so it’s not going to happen overnight but to think I lost an inch in just a week has me ready to give a honest chance at working.

Anonymous: Michaela, I was considering purchasing the AB Circle until I read the reviews. Thank you all for your honesty. I am in my late 40’s and I know I need to lose weight. I have 4 grown children and I have to say I was in much better shape when they were little. I can’t blame my weight on having children because I only weighed 120 something. I have learned through the years that losing weight does not come without a good diet and excercize. Walking is very good, also rebounding on a mini trampoline, and lifting weights. This works for me, it will work for you too! If the AB Circle was made with durable material I would have bought one. Thanks for saving me money…

Pam: I don’t believe in getting something for nothing so I was not looking for a miracle device but was interested when I saw the ab circle infomercial. The fact that I might be able to get a good core workout without straining my neck and back was a big deal as a previous upper neck injury made floor/flat exercising painful. While expecting to have it show exceptional results with a 3 minute a day workout might be a bit over stretching the results, replacing your normal core workout and cardio time with the ab circle will definitely show you very good and rapid results in a much shorter daily workout. Off the floor and more comfortable then any core or cardio workout I do I can easily set it up where I want to work out, in front of the TV or on the patio and its foot print is nearly 2/3 less then other equipment such as an exercise bench. I get a good consistent cardio and I do reach my heart rate goals quicker and can maintain it longer then I have with other machines. The core workout was noticeably more effective even on the lowest settings. I have been working core strengthening for sometime but immediately felt the burn and the core working out more then I ever had with floor exercises. Since it was also a machine I had at home it increased my workouts as I could do it daily without having to plan extra trips to the gym to workout more often then 3 days a week and therefore the results were noticeable pretty quickly. Its not a ‘ride’ to weight loss but is a workout machine and it is definitely a worthwhile replacement for working your core and cardio, one that is something you can use at home and it gets you off your back and allows you to work all muscle groups at the same time which does shorten the workout time. Many core workouts stop you before you can really achieve much as you have to develop strength elsewhere (the back for example) to support your body before you are successfully able to do enough reps to get a really good effect on your core. Even if you have just started out on a workout program you are going to be able to get a good workout and if you have been on a core program the fact that you can choose different levels of resistance makes it good for someone who needs to push that core workout up a few notches. I was more interested in getting ‘off my back’ then expecting to loose a few inches in weeks and actually reached a bit of a plateau with my cardio and core workouts. Switching to to ab circle I tightened up my core with an inch and 1/2 over my waist, hips and butt as well as tightening up my thighs and a 22 pound weight loss over 3 weeks, and it jumped me over the plateau. I was currently not dieting at the time, but eating a normal balanced diet without calorie restriction. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who really plans to use it as the workout demonstrates and not expect weight loss or core strengthening because it sits in the room with you. The ab circle is a workout that you can be successful with even if you are just beginning to exercise or have been for sometime. The machine is well built and very worth it for the price.

CaliforniaRN: I am thinking about purchasing AB Circle Pro just to add variety to my current exercise regimen. I do a combination of Pilates and walking and am getting bored. I am not expecting this device to be a miracle but to add to what I already do. So far the comments I’ve read have helped in making my decision to proceed with my purchase.

I’ve been doing this about 4 times a week. I never even told my husband I was using the ab circle because we have so many different excercise equipment just sitting around not being used. One day he asked me, what I was doing because my body is starting to look pretty tight. So I told him and he couldn’t beleive that that was all I was doing because I haven’t changed my eating habit but I don’t eat much anyway. I feel this is the best excercise equipment we have and beleive me, we have alot. I love my abcircle pro.

Suzette: I ordered the AB Circle without reading any review and that was a big mistake. I receive the product within the time they said. However, I excitedly open it and read the instructions and proceed to use it. The first ting I notice was there was only a three minute vidio,(that time is just to warm up the body and get ready for the work out. To my supprise there was no other additional work out dvd. I immediately call back to ask for the video, and they said there is none available, and offer me $40 back. I tried to do additional work out on my own but only result I got was my KNEES BR*SE AND SW*LLEN. I tried to work out and my knees keep slipping off, so I put a wash cloth to make it softer, still didn’work. I decide to send it back and it cost me $37. Right now my knees have nothing but scabs on them from this well advertise piece of junk.

I noticed how some people are very offensive toward the people who left negative comments. That make me wonder if you guys works for the company. Rather a person put a thumbs up or down, it is the comment that is most important. I just don’t like buying anything that is hard to return. If you have to pay to send it back then it is not money back guaranteed. I was waiting to hear pj’s next comment. I would check back. However, I still would not be buying it.

Crystal: I was just like MOST of these uncertain/skeptical people, of course the commercial programming on this product looked really good, then I started reading reviews on it because who wants to just throw away money, and to my surprise there were SO MANY negative comments/reviews on the knee pads hurting, the machine being called “cheaply made,” and how it did nothing for them in general, that I decided not to order it. Then a couple months later I changed my mind and gave in. And honestly, I’m so thankful that I did, because I LOVE this machine, and its CRAZY how many people complained about the knee pads hurting their knees. . .I dont know why, my knees have never hurt at all from this machine and I’m doing 400-500 reps, the knee pads are cushion, and I’m not a skinny or average girl, I’m 180lbs. And I don’t think the machine is cheaply made, you just need to make sure all parts are properly put together and the screws are tight, nothing has fell off or apart on mine. And if anyone says this isn’t doing anything for them, then they need to pay attention. . you can’t just do the machine for 3 mins then thats it, if you have extra weight (like i do) then you should try for more, start off at 3 mins and gradually increase even if you can’t do them all in a row. I really do love this machine, its a fun workout, thank God I didn’t let all the negative reviews stop me from ordering this bc untelling where I would be right now.

Laineyk: I received my ab circle pro about 2 weeks ago and I’m sorry that I bought it. I plan to return it as soon I can get authorization. I think that it may work but after 2 weeks the rollers have scratched the entire surface of the ab roller. This is certainly not indicative of something worth $200. I’ve taken pictures to send to the company so I can receive a refund. I’ve heard that they do not accept returns easily.

Ann Marsh: I bought one of these machines and found that it did nothing for me and my daughter other than to h*rt our knees and my back. They say you can lose 10 pounds pretty quick, but I guess that’s if you barely eat a thing while you are using the machine. I just wanted to give some shape to my abs since I already weigh only 110, but found I only ended up with very s*re knees and nothing else. I think the machine is horribly constructed and not worth the cost. Don’t buy it. There are other ways to get in shape if you really need to that won’t cost nearly as much or make you h*rt when you walk. Forget the butt and thigh workout it does not work either. I tried that one three times a day and it did nothing. I guess like all the magazines if you throw a bunch of people that are in great shape in front of people watching TV and give them a few acting lessons you can sell anything. And lets not forget airbrushing and the magic of TV.

Gina: We like our Ab Circle, but I have to clean it after each use.or else the rollers build up with red paint from circle and after few uses and makes quite a gouge in circle. Had to return one because of that. I don’t think it was worth the money we paid for it tho. Still haven’t lost weight from the exercise.

annabelle: ok, so i first tried the Ab circle and found it would move around the room with me so gave up..then a friend showed me that i was using my arms not my ‘hips’ problem 1 solved so got back on it. I used it for 2 times morning and night and lost nothing but felt a slight improvement…so kept it anyway cos i forgot about the return date also…but hey somethings better then nothing right? so it’s been 3 1/2 months now and am now glad i kept it as after 2months i shrunk from a 14 to 12 and now edging on a 10!!! it does take some time getting use to it definitely but if u do it properly as in ur hips not arms and suck the tummy while working out but more obviously changing you eating plan definitely get results! well i did anyway!

Judi: I’ve had my Ab Pro for about 3 weeks and can only do it for about 3 minutes at a time. I find that it is not hard on my knees, but have not seen any results yet. I am thinking about increasing the resistance but wondered if anyone had the other videos that they are interested in selling.

Sandi: I had my abb circle pro for less than 2 weeks while I was using it my knee slipped out of what is suppose to be a slip proof knee bowl, when the knee bowl fell apart. Let me tell you that hurt. I tried to get a new one in replace of the deffective one. They wanted to just send me the deffective part replacement that was on back order???

Puggynose: I tried this machine, first I must say for me kneeling was difficult so I was not able to stay on for more than 30 seconds, second I had a difficult time at first tying to get it to swing. It’s not as easy as they make it look on tv, third you need a lot of space for this machine and fourth if you buy it the company wins and if you try it they win. It cost me a total of $54.oo just to try it, this includes shipping with the $14.99 and upon returning it I had to pay shipping again. So it cost almost $100.00 just to try it. Another set back to this machine is, my husband who is very strong tried it. He was able swing it like you see on tv but it tilted with him a few times. For all it’s worth I think the gym is still the best bet.

Anonymous: we’ve had our ab circle pro for a few weeks now and I’ll have to admit i have not used it everyday but i have seen results. I was using the air climber almos everyday for about a month and didtnt see results until i started combining my workout with the ab circle pro for about 11 minutes. If you have knee problems the ab circle pro is not for you. my knees hurt almost everytime i use it and i once slipped off and hurt my arm so you have to be careful with what you wear. Also there are three different levels the first level seems too easy for me I use the second level and the third level is difficult for me. if you want results you need to do it for more than three minutes with out a doubt but as long as you’re persistent it will give you results but once again not good on the knees although you get use to it after a while.

Amie: I am really enjoying my Ab Circle pro. My mom gave it to me because it just wasn’t for her. I have three young children (the youngest being 1) who all get a kick out of me using it in the living room. I am 5′4″ and about 140lbs. But I have that “baby belly” and I really need a good cardio work out. This thing really does make me break out into a sweat. I have found that you get a better cardio work out when the front is at the highest angle and looking straight ahead. This is quite a compact machine my living room has about 5ftx 10ft of floor space. And it stores away easyly behind my couch. I have lower back problems which do not allow me to do sit ups without pain. This is a great alternative for me. It is also making the muscles in lower back stronger. Which is a positve thing for me. The only problem I have is that it tends to slide along the wood floor. Nothing the right kind of pad will fix. I wouldn’t recommend it to people with knee problems as it does make them sore. But other than that overall it is great and I would recommend it to my friends.

Krista: I used the ab circle approx. 4 or 5 times and the nuts underneath of the machine kept coming loose.We actually returned it to the store and purchased another.The second one had a different problem,one of the rollers does not spin and it is scraping the metal right off from it not to mention it is very loud as you can imagine. (scraping metal). Besides that it does seem to work on your abs but I will be returning this one too and not sure if i will purchase another.

With every product your going to get people that post bad reviews, but ask them how many other products they bought, tried 5 times and there sitting collecting dust. You have to be serious about using it and use it consistant if you want to see results. So basically if your serious about using it, I recommend it…but if your someone who isn’t gonna put the time into it then it will be a waste of your money. Helen: I rang for a trial of the ABCircle PRO, and foolish paid the $19.80. 2 weeks later it arrived, without any invoice stuck to the box, which came originally from China. I tried to connect the vendors,but none of the enclosed literture enclosed had any addresses nor phone numbers. It was not until I received my bank statement, that I discovered that the TV Shop Port Melbourne, were selling the “circle”! I have been in touch with them and have received no satification at all. I noted that after accepting the trial arrangement that their price was now $197.00.They have already taken $283.80 from my account and intend to remove another $132.00!!! Their excuses were…they were not responsible for the TV price as it was a US adv. and represented US dollars!… that I was being charged the exchange rate of the US dollar plus the freight!…The price they were charging me was for a brand unit with a 12mnths warrantyand that those advertised at the lower price were old models!!They looked the same to me and the video was the same. The last adv. I saw the price was $185.00!! I have been an utter idiot to have allowed this to happen to me and if there is any way I can avoid their taking another $132.00 dollars out of my account I shall do so. I am going to the Fare Trading commission. All the 1800 numbers are answered in NZ. The product does not live up to its ads.

Bob: I’m 29, 135lbs and bought the ab circle to get rid of some belly flab and get a nice hard 6 pac. I’ve had the machine for about 3 months now and use it 5 days a week for about 10min a day and yes, it IS working (just not as fast as the commercials say). However, you have to make sure you tighten your abs while your working out with it, and also watch the DVD that comes with it because its easy to use it wrong. I’ve watched my friends use it and at first they totally use it wrong and dont keep their core straight. You do get a decent cardio workout with this, however you still need to do other basics like watch what you eat and lift weights. My main problem is going to the gym for the lack of time. The Ab circle is great to use while watching TV, however it’s bulky to store, so I just keep it in the basement. I believe several designs of this products exist as my neighbor has one that actually rolls on the red plastic and seems flimsy. The one I have was purchased at Dicks sporting goods for around $150 and is very well made. The knee pads kinda slide around but it’s not really a big deal. I can see this product being great if your already mostly in shape and are not over weight. I can totally see how this product wouldn’t help you loose weight, it’s more for firming and toning. I also own an ab roller and one of those shock belts and the ab circle hurts the least. I really wish this message board would let you post pics so I can show a before and after.

James: I bought it. The weight loss is a fraud. This device while it may strengthen core muscles will not help you lose weight (unless used extremely). Where they get you is by saying “if you use the Ab Circle Pro ***SYSTEM*** guaranteed to lose 10kg in 2 weeks or whatever blah blah”. Take note of the word “system” here, as it means “if you follow a rigorous diet plan as outlined in the complimentary DVD you’ll lose 10kg.” Bascially the device does almost nothing, and following the diet plan will lose weight, however I found it quite unrealistic. (even as a reasonably fit 22yr old male who plays sport regularly). Bottom line: do not buy it, waste of money.

Kim: For those who DO want the AB Circle, Target has them for $149.99. I have been looking at this for a while now and just bought it. Obviously no results yet as I used it just once so far. I hope it works for me, as I am not a active person but am trying to change my lifestyle for the better. Almost 40 and Ive noticed “parts” moving south for about a year. LOL. I will say, I do think beginners is easy. Too easy. I tried a few different moves illustrated and after about 5 minutes I really do feel the no pain no gain in my thighs and butt….GOOD. I will keep using it, if it doesnt work, I’ll return it. If it does work I will be one happy gal. Plus, honestly, it didnt “feel” like excersise, it was kinda fun.
